The room smelled pretty terrible. There were bugs. The floors were stained and dirty. There were several hairs in the shower and the shower head was very dirty. There was an area electrical outage that we did not know about until after we check in. The indoor pool was shut down and there was no breakfast. No shower in the morning due to the outage and no heat. The staff was not even a little apologetic about any of it.

I checked in and noticed pretzels under my desk. The couch is fraying, small amenities m, there was sugar caked on my refrigerator, wallpaper peeling. The bathroom is dark. Leave shoes on always, floors are sticky. Wasps and flys were getting in as well. I killed 2 wasps, and several flies. I happened to run into the general manager who said they are working on rooms currently, and trying to update the place. There is need for a lobby girl to clean windows and doors, and to vacuum the main floors and hallways, and to clean the elevator! A gummy bear is still sticking to the wall of the elevator. I like to give my honest opinion on stays, and sometimes criticism is necessary. Would I stay again? Maybe in the future when it’s remodeled. Not soon though. The area is quiet, couple fast food restaurants and a gas station, Cracker Barrel is close.the breakfast meat was the same thing for 4 days.

We enjoyed our stay with the clean room, hot breakfast, and comfortable bed. The hotel is very tired with torn and peeling wall paper, stained rugs, and locks that worked sometimes and took many tries other times. The pool area was not secure and easily accessed by children moving in and through the gates, without using keys. It met our needs, but not the 8.6 that was noted on the hotels.com app.

Staff was nowhere to be found except for the front desk, walked into the room and the toilet flusher was broken. I had to remove the back top half of the toilet and pull up on the plastic inside to get it to flush, rooms were not properly kept clean with stains, hair, and other visible signs on linens and pillows that it was poorly maintained.
