Four Points by Sheraton Memphis Southwind

Amazing front desk staff, Dee was especially good and sorted me out breakfast as they were renovating their breakfast space. My issue was I was not informed when booking that the accessible room shares a wall with an elevator and it is very loud all day and night, very loud! Also the pool was filthy, there is scum all around the top tile and the was is so strong with either chemicals or other that it is so cloudy you can’t see your feet.

Gym equipment is broken.

1st floor room, carpets were dirty and smelled like they were moldy/musty. Breakfast was poor, very few items were actually available. Pool was closed repeatedly and I was forced to check out early and move to a different hotel

I went to the pool/fitness center.....They had two treadmills that didn't work...A bike that didn't have straps for your feet and two ellipticals that also both didn't work. They had connections for OLD ipods so they have been there for a while. These were the ONLY machines they had and literally none of them were able to be used! In addition...both nights of my stay did not have TV and no one seemed very concerned about it!

I feel like this room was reserved specifically for Hotel.com customers. The toilet is broken. The flush handle isn’t attached to the toilet. They left us with less than a half roll of toilet paper and no extra. We had to go to the desk to get a roll. They wouldn’t offer to bring it to our room. There were no tissues in the room just an empty tissue box cover. One of the elevators was down, so only one elevator for the whole building. There were people openly smoking marijauna in the common area outside. The smell of marijuana in the one working elevator was prevalent.

Check in was easy. Room was clean and comfortable. Slept great which usually doesn’t happen for me in a hotel. Very quiet. The pool was clean but the water was ice cold.

The front desk lady was nice checking in and the one we had in the morning was Super Nice! The room was nice and clean too! The only reason I’m doing 4 stars overall and 3 for property facilities is because after we had checked in, we got the kids ready for the pool and when we got down there, it was pretty gross - like oil at the top of it or something. But that’s our only complaint, the pool was just not up to par for what I would have imagined for a Sheraton.

Property was clean and room was furnished nicely. The only negative was the exercise room thermastat was set on 80 and locked. The front desk said they would need to put in a workorder and have maintenance look at it tomorrow.

The room wasnt very clean. They had no extra pillows when i got a pull out couch that waa angled towards a wall and wouldn't pull out.

The property was clean and immaculate. The staff overall was good, does not have a dining area that was a drawback, but the rumors were clean immaculate kept up every day clean towels it was. It was very good. I will use them again.

Nice, clean

First room had three large roaches. Moved to a new room…it had a terrible smoke smell. Third room was just fine. Front desk service was very polite and willing to help fix the issues.

It was terrible, I was switched to 3 different rooms, the internet was down so I couldn’t do my schoolwork which was very inconvenient and frustrating, there was a bug crawling on the bed, I have pictures, and rooms were kinda clean but the restroom had dirt spots in the tub and hair on the toilet

I found several long strands of hair in various places in the room. 3 in the bed, 1 in the bath tub, and 1 on a bath towel. Also the walls need to be wiped down. I was in room 203. This made me feel that the room was not completely clean and a bit uncomfortable.

The room was dirty the pull out bed had a white crusty stain under the mattress that I saw because I had to put the linens on. Also the springs were exposed. One queen bed had a red stain in the mattress on the side. There was trash under both beds the tv remote did not have a back to it so the batteries kept falling out. I took photos of everything showed the lady at the front desk and I was given nothing but an I'm sorry. Would not allow me to move rooms.

The staff was kind and friendly. The space comfortable, although they didn’t have a room with 2 beds available and we had to put our daughters in the pull out sofa. But by that time of night we were exhausted and just needed a place to rest. Well, that’s what we tried to do. But the walls are clearly paper thin because we heard our neighbors going at it for well over half an hour!!! And there we were, with teenage daughters! Uncomfortable as hell. We heard it all!! I knocked on the wall one time. Very loudly, but it didn’t phase them. A hotel this nice should have walls that are more soundproof. Come on!! Nobody can go about their business peacefully! I’m not staying there again.

Enjoyed our one night stay. The room was very large and was comfortable. The staff was friendly and did a great job. My husband enjoyed his breakfast.

Room 419 needs a new mattress. It sagged on both sides. And I believe the pool was salt water. Gross.

We stayed 3 nights. The room was clean, spacious, and the staff were incredibly friendly. My only complaints are 1. The water pressure in the shower was terrible. 2. The sofa is not for plus size people. It was not comfortable at all. Overall I enjoyed my stay, I would stay again if only for one night.

The hallways and elevator smelled of weed. Loud music was being played most of the night until 3:30-4:00 in the morning. Kids running down the hallway yelling around 11:00pm at night.

The hotel was nice and the staff were all great. The room was large enough for us. The noise level from other rooms was a little excessive at times. The showers took a while to heat up and the water pressure wasn't great. However, it got the job done. The beds were nice and the facility was very clean. No free breakfast is a little disappointing. All in all it was a good place to stay. The staff and the beds were the best part.

We booked a king suite and got double beds. The toliet handle was broken and we have to lift up the top of the toliet to hand pull the flush bar. The toliet paper holder is almost falling off. The furniture in the room seems old and worn. Many of the outlets and usb changing ports are either not working or very loose where the cord keeps coming loose. I will say the staff was friendly and the room is clean.

The staff were friendly enough and helped accommodate staying in the same room when my plans changed and needed to stay another night. My issue was with the amenities not being available. The television, bathtub, and Wi-Fi were out of order.

The AC unit was very loud and the beds were squeaky. There was hair on my bath towels. The front check in and check out staff were super friendly and nice. Greeted me when i checked and and wished me save travels upon leaving. That was the best part of my stay.

The late night and early morning crew were outstanding. They were helpful and friendly.

The front desk woman is terrible. Rude, unhelpful and lazy (we’ll get to that). Arrived and no greeting. Just name, license and credit card. Went to our room. TV doesn’t work. I go back down and ask for help. I’ll send the maintenance guy when he gets here. Ok. Any idea when that is? No. Can you guess. 5:00, 5:30? I don’t know (and body language says I don’t care). Ok. Go back to room. No blankets and sheets for pull out couch in room. Go back down to get them. Half an hour later toilet backs up. Go back down. Can you have the toilet fixed. No. Ma’am (I’m a guy. Clearly I am a guy), I can’t fix the toilet. Would you like a new room? Let’s see, room without a toilet or new room??? Ok, new room. Bring all your things down here and I’ll give you a new room. What? I can’t move them out of the room to the hall way while you get us a new room (husband, wife and four kids and all our stuff). No, everything has to come back to the front desk before I can give you a new room. Hotel policy. Ok, whatever, not gonna fight it. Bring our stuff down. New room, (same Hall way five doors down). Drag all our stuff and family back up to the third floor. Get new room. Bathroom fan doesn’t work but it’s one night. We endure. Meanwhile, working down stairs that night. Hispanic guy comes in looking for a room for two night. Asks same front desk lady if they have any. She tells him to look online. Asks her if she can look. She then suggests that he try the hotel next door it might suit him better...

This stay was absolutely horrible. The hotel is very clean and well kept. The room was clean and tidy. This location was terribly slow with very little foot traffic. My guest and I went down to the restaurant/bar for dinner and drinks. After about 15 minutes we were finally acknowledged and was able to place our order. Once the order was taken, no drinks were served and we waited 30 more minutes for both our food and drinks…The meal was cold and over cooked, so I had to order delivery. No staff was ever available at the front desk and when they were I felt like I was inconveniencing them. The following morning I went up to the get breakfast and ask the lady at the front about the breakfast I paid for with my reservation. She rudely asked me where’s your card?!? I said i was never given one. She grabs a card and puts my name plus 1. We ordered breakfast and it took almost an hour. The cook was in the back cussing and complaining about having to do her job. I requested late check out and even offered to pay for a couple extra hours. I was hung up on and then called back and told 1230.

The front desk staffs need to be changed. They are very rude!!

The staff made our stay so much better. They helped advise us of activities in the area. They went above and beyond to help with any request. The facilities were nice and the hotel had a nice vibe.

When we arrived to check in, they had given our room away. They gave us a key to a different room which they told us was someone else's room, but they would just have to deal with that later. We went to the room and upon opening the door we found another family's items in the room. Obviously occupied. We went back downstairs, and they had to put us in separate rooms that were not joined. It was a huge inconvenience especially given it was 8:30 when we got to the hotel. The fact we reserved the room, and they just gave it away is just ridiculous. I'm not sure why I expected good service since we were in Memphis, but it was still very upsetting.

They need better security. The room was nice but the one night I stop here my car gets stolen right out of the parking lot. Staff acted like it was a common occurrence and directed me through the reporting process. There was no manger on duty so the police couldn’t even look at the security cameras. If you want security I suggest staying somewhere else. Also there was a weird odor on the third floor.

Just a night stay during our travels. Room was nice, clean and convenient to some places to eat and the highway. Was not bad.

The hotel was in a convenient location for all that we wanted to do on our visit to Memphis. Staff was always friendly and helpful. We would certainly stay there again!

I always love staying here because the staff is so kind. I stayed a week during Thanksgiving week, and on my first night I overheard another visitor tell the lady at the desk that their car had been broken into overnight. There had been 2 car break-ins and one truck was stolen that same night, and the visitors had parked in the back. I had always felt relatively safe at this hotel, but it made me be on high alert during this visit. I was so glad that I had not driven. I had decided to try this new bus called Vonlane mostly because I hate driving, but also because my car is among the cars that have been targeted for thefts. I guess this incident served as a lesson to not get too comfortable and be careful.

Great location, very close to restaurants and shopping and not far from many Memphis attractions. Great staff.

While staying at this hotel our vehicle was stolen from the parking lot. We checked in on Saturday evening around 6 pm, went to dinner and returned to the hotel and I discovered our vehicle had been stolen around 6:53 AM Sunday Morning. The young woman working the front desk called the police for us but neither the manager or the general manager could be bothered to come in and offer any type of assistance. Our vehicle was parked by a camera and within view of the camera. We were told only the GM or police could view camera footage and she would not be coming to the hotel. One staff working on Sunday informed us this hotel had 5 vehicle broken into the previous week. When we checked out, I asked if one night of our two night stay could be comped since our vehicle was stolen from the parking lot. I was told only the GM could authorize that; it’s been 8 days and we haven’t heard from any of the management staff at this hotel. I would HIGHLY suggest picking another hotel for your stay.

The property was clean and in a good area. We felt safe, the prices were affordable and it was in a convenient location.

Nice clean room, great AC, near stores and restaurants, but not a great area behind hotel, and difficult to get to if you pass it.

Vehicle was vandalized..no manager on duty.. called and was told to call back Thursday

Hitel was exceptional. Very clean with excellent amenities. Breakfast was awesome, chicken, eggs, waffles, biscuits, etc. Staff were super friendly. We would definitely stay here again.

I’ll never come back there to stay. Only things that was good where the drinks at the bar. The food was horrible. The smell was terrible in the room. Wish I could get a refund. I don’t recommend nobody to stay there.

My stay was okay I won’t complain but I will say I’m disappointed that breakfast ended at 1010 and I wasn’t able to receive it and I didn’t get a refund

The customer service was amazing the front desk lady was super sweet and the breakfast was better than any restaurant. It was definitely worth it. Everyone was so nice and helpful . Will stay there again .

I love this property. I consistently book my travel here everytime I go to Memphis. The bar is wonderful, the restaurant is wonderful, and the staff is hands down phenomenal. Everyone is so pleasant. And in Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights there is a Congolese food truck in the parking lot behind Chowtime down the street, Wala Grill, that has some of the best fusion food!! I will forever stay at this location

The property is in dire need of renovation. There is a weird mildewy smell that permeates throughout the property and the room felt dated and dark. I paid $5 for breakfast each morning but they didn’t have the fruit or turkey sausage that was offered on the menu so no breakfast for me. The staff was wonderful but even they wouldn’t be enough to convince me to ever stay there again. If there’d been availability anywhere else close by, I would’ve checked out and just lost the money I paid.

We had a great stay. The staff was so friendly and the breakfast was great.
