This stunning old manor was quiet and clean! Staff are fabulous! The rooms were well equipped with fluffy towels and kettle with treats. The window opened for fresh air and the horses in the formless were a quaint surprise! It is out of the way best with a car and plenty of free parking at the door

Decent business hotel If you have alloys on your car then beware of the long badly potholed drive

Very pleasant and helpful staff. Good breakfast. Lovely room. Attractive architecture. Pretty grounds for a stroll. This is an excellent hotel.

What a beaitiful country house, our room was so elegant and comfortable, service was fabumous and the grounds were lovely large immaculately kept gardens, excellent value all round

A long single track drive from the A31 and further out from Farnham centre than expected. Returning at 11pm from a show in town, disappointed that bar facilities were closed. Good choices for breakfast; coffee was the usual "hotel breakfast coffee" flavour but was hot.

Visiting family and friends in area. Found hotel by chance, very attractive place and in nice weather must be beautiful. Comfy room with housekeeping very good. Limited in hotel food but Deliveroo from Farnham where there was loads of choice. Good car park. Only small criticism is signage from duel carriageway travelling south not great. Driveway could do with some lighting.

Overall a good stay. There was a small evening dinner menu, which had to be ordered in advance but the food was hot and of good quality. The bar was good, but in the evenings had one attendant who had to split his time between the bar and front desk. The room was good, though the mattress and pillows were not the best quality and we had stiff necks. Would happily stay again.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful. The commona areas and rooms were all spotless. The staff were lovely and so helpful. My daughter joked about needing a ballgown as the staircase made her feel like a princess and the staff were all encouraging and laughing with her. Would definitely stay there again.

Do not stay in a standard double. Room was downstairs number 3 opposite the conference room, it was so so run down dirty, spiders everywhere, mould in the bathroom yet a giant nice tv in the desk.

The room was very basic; the shower cubicle was discussing and there was mould on the shower curtain. I was unable to make breakfast due to having to leave at 07:00; the hotel refused to refund me my money which I had paid for breakfast. The receptionist was rude about it. I’ve stayed here before and the service then was nice… not sure what’s happened since. There are plenty more hotels in the area, including chain hotels which offer a better service and much cleaner rooms.

This place is stuck in the past and not in a charming way. The carpet is stained, the bathroom looks like it was patched together with the cheapest possible materials, and the furniture and curtains have clearly seen better decades. Everything feels neglected and uncomfortable. That might almost be forgivable if the service made up for it, but it actually makes the stay worse. The receptionist couldn’t even be bothered to help and preferred chatting with colleagues instead. On top of that the hotel’s own restaurant was closed even though there is nothing else nearby, which just adds to the frustration. If you are looking for comfort, cleanliness, or even basic hospitality, do yourself a favor and go anywhere else. This place should not still be in business.

It is such a beautiful building. The outside and entrance are stunning and the staff were lovely. It is such a shame that all the rooms are stuck in the 70s. Desperate in need of some updating. Someone had opened the window prior to my arrival so there were lots of flies in the room. There were cobwebs all over the ceiling. There was an alarm that went off if someone left a door open right outside my room which was going off regularly throughout the night.

We just stayed for one night on the coldest night of the year and found the hotel was lovely and toasty. Reception staff welcoming, clean comfortable room, rate for the room was excellent value.

Arrived in the evening and was greeted by a rather friendly lady at the front desk. My room was spacious, clean and had all that was needed for my night stay. I really recommend this stay for people that’s needing a place.

Such a beautiful hotel, however the room I was in was very basic. Cleanliness was good however the coffee cup in my room was stained. Breakfast choice was good, but the cooked breakfast could have been better. The poached egg tasted very vinegary and the sausage wasn't freshly cooked. I would however stay again because it was good value for money.

I found my room very dated and bathroom fixed with silicone everywhere but clean , the walls seemed paper thin as could hear talking clearly in next rooms , the menu in restaurant had quite a few things missing and the steak pie I had was dried out inside so not fresh, staff were friendly.

Beautiful setting & building aesthetics. Quaint. Bed was small. No A/C. Thin walls. Could hear ‘everything next door clearly. Yup - that too. So it was nice to visit & walk around. Not great for sleeping.

The bed was too soft so woke up with backache. I was in a top room which made the shower very small not much room. My bed was under the eaves so was worried about banging my head. Lovely location and friendly staff though. Just hope you don’t get a top room

I wanted to enjoy my stay, but unfortunately I couldn’t sleep properly due to loud snoring coming from a nearby room. Although we weren’t in adjoining rooms, the sound travelled through the hallway and into mine - suggesting a serious lack of sound insulation and ineffective door seals. If I hadn’t stuffed bedding at the bottom of my door I doubt I’d have slept. When I raised this on checkout, I was told - quite seriously - that I should have woken the other guest and asked them to stop snoring. That’s not only unreasonable, but completely sidesteps the actual issue: the hotel hasn’t invested in basic soundproofing. Lightweight doors, old or poorly sealed frames, and a lack of acoustic buffering in the corridor can all contribute — and this seems to be the case here. No apology or gesture of goodwill was offered, not even something small like a coffee, which would have gone a long way at the time. I was told the issue would be reviewed for future guests, but that doesn’t help me - and doesn’t feel like an adequate response when the issue undermines the most essential part of a hotel: to sleep. If a hotel chooses to not invest and wait for the bad reviews before individually compensating guests, it sounds like a bad economy but, whatever, that's fine by me. Be careful though. The odd bad review will get in and stick unless you start compensating on check-out.

The property is absolutely beautiful front eh outside with beautiful grounds! Our room a superior double came with a balcony overlooking part of the gardens which was lovely. With a property of its age there are some clear signs that it needs some serious tlc. Our wardrobe only had one working door making it slightly inconvenient for putting bits away. When I looked in to see if I could open the door a huge movement crack in the was present ( maybe trying to hide it?) being old every footstep and cough TV sound you can hear everything going on in and around your room! I'm so glad I paid using clubcard vouchers as I would of looked for a different property if I needed one again in Farnham. I'm so glad we stayed here and get a chance to read about the history of the hotel but it's really not worth the cost when other hotel around offer the same if not better quality for a better or more competitive price

I loved the peace and quiet andthe lovely grounds which you could enjoy from the balcony. Great breakfast

Online this place looks like a fab country residence, and it is a cracking building in a beautiful location. The reality is it’s a bit like Fawlty Towers. On check in the receptionist was great…..then the Duty Manager stepped in who should have definitely stayed in the back office ! Barked at me that we couldn’t check in till 2 but when I said we’d paid extra for an early check in the receptionist stepped in and smoothed it over. We were going to a wedding so I went to same Duty Manager and asked if she could organise a taxi, her response was “there are some cards over there” - sorry I thought I was staying in a hotel !! The room was great (4 poster) and the view was great. The breakfast was the one you would expect at a £25 Blackpool hotel - cheapest ingredients that looked like they all came from CostCo especially the sausages ! Overall it’s not bad for what you pay but such a shame because with a bit more detail and less cost cutting it could be a great countryside experience….

Stayed here before my wedding nearby and was really disappointed with the service. Despite booking out most of the rooms, the check-in was cold and unwelcoming. Staff made us feel like a burden just for arriving. When we asked about dinner for our group (something we’d emailed and called about weeks earlier), we were told it wasn’t possible and that we should have called in advance, despite already doing so but being told, they don’t take bookings. No apology, just an dismissive attitude. We even provided the name of the person we spoke to. Later, we handed out water bottles to guests after the bar had closed (in a reused San Miguel box) and were accused of bringing in outside alcohol, even though there was clearly none and we had bought lots of soft drinks/alcohol for the hours they were open. It felt like we were being constantly questioned or treated with suspicion. Ironically, after the stay, the venue messaged and called multiple times to ask for details of someone they assumed was a wedding planner, suddenly friendly when they wanted something. I’m glad we only had to stay one night, as I couldn’t deal with that customer service for longer. It’s a shame as the grounds are lovely. I have a number of friends getting married at Froyle Park over the next year and looking for accommodation nearby, I won’t be recommending. It definitely wasn’t a good experience as a groom but I was able to ignore most of it due to my lovely guests.

I came with my little dog and was given a lovely room with a patio door for him to pop in and out of. The receptionist Julie Robinson was extremely helpful and very friendly As I was having a take away meal she brought me cutlery and a plate. Your young night porter was also friendly and helpful and saw me on his night off and offered to take me dog for a walk.

Down to visit the arts university at Farnham,. This was a handy location just outside the town. Google maps can give you the back way to the hotel which avoids the challenging dash across the fast road. Perfectly functioning hotel. Shower pressure was amazing. Will stay again.

Great hotel in a quiet location just off a busy bypass so walks very limited as no paths from driveway end. Bedroom with a balcony which is a great addition. Tidy and clean bedroom. 5 Star it's not but for a quiet, quirky, squeaky floorboards but cosy hotel with a good standard of cleanliness this is a gimme for 1 or 2 nights. Staff are very accommodating Breakfast is generally standard stuff They do not serve meals but can rustle up a Pizza, Farnham town is a 5 minute drive away with plenty of eateries to choose from. Would go back

Nice grounds and building, staff were very helpful. Food is not available after breakfast at the weekend and the heating system was turned off (?). Noise transfer between rooms was an slight issue as we could hear the person in the next room coughing.
