Hampton Inn Lewisburg

Property was clean and quiet. We stayed here mostly because of the pool. The pool was very chilly and not very inviting. My husband chose the hot tub and it was heated, but had so much chlorine that it faded his swim trunks from green to grey. We frequent a pool usually 3 times a week and there is no way that this was an 82 degree water temperature.

Clan rooms and bathrooms, pool and gym, plenty of parking, good breakfast, easy access (with car) to historic downtown.

We really weren’t expecting how elegant this is ! Especially for the price. Staff at front desk were friendly and helpful.. Love the pool and hot tub! The room is huge and our king bed is so comfy! So happy we picked this one to stay in on our way home from Virginia Beach

We had stayed here previously. Safe location,clean rooms and courteous staff. On this stay the hot tub and pool heater were broken and we were so looking forward to using them on this most recent trip. Breakfast bar is outstanding and well maintained. Definitely will stay here again on future visits.

Hotel was dated and not very well kept. Pool was closed. The Hotel had construction going on. Breakfast was minimal and people had to sit in the dark because the staff wouldn't turn the lights on. A large portion of the parking lot was occupied due to construction. Towels were minimized. Hampton Inns are going downhill. I previously would always seek them out. They are not a good bet now. I would look elsewhere if I was traveling in the area again.

We had a large group and the meeting area outside the breakfast area was wonderful for us to all get together.

Was traveling to VA, and stayed here on the way. Dog friendly! Staff was friendly, and the hotel was very clean. Plan to stop on my way back home

The staff was friendly. The room had an unpleasant smell and the bathroom sink was dirty

The room had some what i assume was mouse fecies in the sheets. On my end i should of said something but i did not

We ended up leaving immeiately after check in as we found food crumbs and what looked like mouse poop on the sofa bed

Property is dated and is in need of a refresh. Bathrooms are old and dirty. At checkin, staff was unfriendly. Paid on-line so there would be no unnecessary paperwork upon arrival but then was charged a $20 incidental fee...have no idea what for.

This is a very nice hotel. The room was clean and well taken care of, the staff was friendly and the breakfast was very good.

The bathroom in Room 311 needs a deep clean. Looked like someone had makeup or self tanner on their hands and touched everything.

Near-overwhelming room “deodorant” odor. Lumpy bed…limp pillows…and housekeeping only “every other day” notice in small Print in bathroom. All this for $200+ per day? No thanks. I’ll go anywhere but a Hampton Inn again. PS. Plus I now see I was overcharged from what my reservation confirmation reflected.

Room was clean and spacious. Check-in was easy as well. Free breakfast which was standard fair… premade eggs with cheese, waffles, sausage and other breakfast items. It was kept clean as well. Only downside is the shower which had very low water pressure and took a while for to get warm. The bed was great. We had a great nice sleep. Lots of food options close by as well as a Walmart only about a mile away if you need anything.

Would highly recommend this hotel. The only downfall this trip was the electricity had gone out prior to my arrival and the internet was slow to come back on when the electric came back on. The hotel staff were not alerted as to what happened, so they had no answers for concerned guests. Totally not their fault.

Room was very clean and nicely appointed. Breakfast was very tasty and plentiful. Everyone on the staff was friendly and made us feel at ease. The only reason i gave 4 i stead of 5 stars is that there was no.option for a constant fan on the wall AC unit so it was going on and on all night. 5 star hotel otherwise.

Super comfortable beds

The room and bath were very clean. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Our only issues were that the toilet was very low. We are in our late 60’s but relatively healthy. We had difficulty getting up from the toilet. And the grab bar in the shower was not in a useful place for balance getting in and out of the tub. Otherwise we had a pleasant stay and will return next time we travel this way.

Spacious room, huge tv. Like having end tables on both sides of the bed. Lots of USB ports. But…. Skinny towels, lumpy bed, tiny (though powerful) shower head, sink didn’t drain unless you held the plug up. A little high in price for these problems.

The beds are super comfortable and the location is convenient to the downtown area that we like.

The mattress was NOT a good mattress-very old.

Check in took 1/2 hr last thing i want to deal with after lomg trip, not the staff fault only her on duty and dealing with a lot, got to our room couldnt connect to internet, couldnt contact front desk, had to ho down to lobby to find out we werent in the system yet. Honestly we paid 100 more to stay hereight pf had better sevice at the super 8.

System was down when I entered, which meant I had to wait for it to refresh before I could get checked in, even though I’d already prepaid. I was told they had to run my credit card in case I wanted incidentals. So I had to wait.

Property was okay. Nothing special. My biggest complaint is the staff. They charged my card 4 times. Then accused me of having a dog with me and charged me for that. My money still has not been refunded.

I arrived at 12:30 waited 5min at the desk for someone to come to desk , when they came they told me I couldn’t check in until 1pm company policy! And no they weren’t busy so I went to find a restaurant to eat until 1pm .Came back same gentleman checked me in and I was not offered a complimentary gift bag and they had plenty fixed ..so much for customer service…

We arrived at the hotel around 11:15pm. Shelvy greeted us with a smile as we walked in the door & let us know that she'd be with us as soon as she finished with the ladies ahead of us. This was the halfway mark to our vacation so it was a quick overnight stay to get our kids (4yo & 5 months old) out of the car for a decent night sleep. Upon checking in, Shelvy couldn't find my reservation. Somehow it showed that I had already checked in hours prior (which I did not do.) Shelvy handed me the keys & a goodie bag with water & snacks. I hopped back into the car and we drove around the building to park. We unloaded our kids & bags and headed for our room.. (room 325). When we got to the room, the keys did not work. I ran back down and Shelvy programmed another set and had me run up to try those. The new set did not work either. I went back down and was given another set of keys that also didnt work. While trying the 3rd set of keys (mind you...it's now after 12am)..I jiggled the handle and someone opened the door from the other side. The room that was supposedly set aside for us was given to someone else. Shelvy was so apologetic about the situation (although not her fault). After a bit of scrambling, she finally got us into another room. (Hotel was completely booked and my MIL got the last room before any of this happened). Shelvy said that she will talk to the GM & have her reach out to me to make the situation right but I still have yet to hear from anyone.

Nice location right off interstate. Very nice facility.

I struggled with the traffic in the area.

Safe location and accessible to shopping and eateries.

It was a great layover for Greenbrier visit.

Stayed one nigh on the way to Virginia Beach. Plenty of food options around and a good halfway stop if you’re heading to the beach.

This is a very nice place to stay and is 6 miles from The Greenbriar Resort.

Asked twice for waffle batter to be refilled. Never happened and breakfast had over an hour to go. Also no fan in bathroom. Room was clean though and desk staff was very friendly

Nothing really unique about the property. It was clean and quite. We just stayed overnight. There were plenty of nearby dining options. The breakfast choices provided were lacking. There was no gravy for the dry biscuits and no hard boiled eggs were available.

This hotel was nice. The room was clean and roomy. The bathroom large and clean. The bed was comfortable. Shampoo, conditioner, and soap were provided in large bottles in the shower (which I love) but the conditioner must have been empty because I couldn’t get any out. Breakfast was very good with lots of hot options.

First day breakfast was fair. Second day was inedible
