We only stayed one night while taking our daughter to college. As stated in other reviews, the main hallway and breakfast area smell strongly of animals. The room was not bad, but definitely musty. The floors, especially corners, can all use a good deep cleaning. It is definitely only wiped clean and called good enough. Parking is tight. We were pulling a trailer and had to park on the street. On the plus side, beds are clean and comfortable. The front desk staff are fantastic. Breakfast is adequate. Rooms are quiet. The location is fantastic.

The hotel had a very funny, funky smell when we came in. The breakfast was good. Parking was great. They don’t have a elevator, but that was OK for us.

Staff was friendly. Room smelled like pet urine. Walls had stains from stuff splashed on them. Bathroom sink drained very slowly. Breakfast was underwhelming if you were looking for more than carbs. Got some peanut butter to spread on toast but I think it was old as it was separated and a challenge to mix the oil sitting on top of the individual mini container into the peanut butter (at least it wasn’t rancid). The bananas were great as they were at the perfect ripeness. No elevator so had to carry suitcases upstairs. Not a big deal for us, but it could be a problem for some. Air conditioning in the room was very loud when it kicked on through the night. Based on the rate we paid ($87.23), I shouldn’t have been surprised, but I expected more based on the reviews.

Could not park UHaul in the parking lot. When we entered the room it smelt of mildew and was sticky hot inside the room. The only saving grace was the somewhat comfortable beds. Price for the value is not there. This hotel is overpriced and not worth $120 per night

Front office staff was helpful and the hotel was clean. There’s no elevator, which can make getting luggage upstairs tricky.

Basic clean, workable, mid-priced hotel that accepts dogs for a fee. The room was very spacious with a good layout. Lots of good restaurant options close by. The front desk people are friendly and helpful. The coffee is like making love in a canoe (close to water) but there is a Starbucks very close.

Easy on/off I-80. It is pet friendly and the lower rear hallway wreaks of urine. NO ELEVATOR! That information should have been prominently displayed on website!!

Friendly staff, very convenient to many eating places, good location, clean, everything we needed. Breakfast provided. Extra blankets provided. Very basic - no frills. No elevator which would be nice for the 2nd floor rooms.

The room was adequate for a quick one night stay. Cleanliness was a concern. There were hairs on the toilet, peeling paint in the bathroom, and a concerning uncleanliness in the tub area. Metal framing in the bathroom was rusty. The metal panels under the beds were an annoying feature. It concerned us enough that we didn't stay for the free breakfast. If you're looking for a quick one-night stay then take your chances, but otherwise, there are plenty of other properties in the area to choose from.

Front desk personnel were very kind and helpful. He spoke English. When my daughter dropped a charger, he saw it, called our room to let us know he had it. The room was very clean, was quiet, and had plenty of towels and space for five people and two dogs.

The hotel is easy to access and the front desk staff were friendly both in the evening checking in and morning when leaving. The bed was clean, but the bathroom had several stray hairs in the tub and on the floor. Everything else seemed fairly clean. The carpet and walls in the room could use some cleaning though.

Room had strong stale smell like new carpeting was needed. There was what looked like mold spots on the ceiling above the TV. Nasty looking mold around the toilet

They allow pets in every room and say the room is sanitized/cleaned after. The room appeared clean, but smelled funny and the carpet was a bit damp. The A/C did not take out the humidity. Bed was comfortable. I have stayed here before years ago but now it is starting to look run down.

The room was very clean and spacious. The breakfast was excellent . The staff kept everything well stocked.

The hotel smelled. The room was super dark and the a/c had not been turned on despite the 90 degree weather so the room was very hot. The beds looked barely made and had two spiders in the beds. I'm amazed it has the reviews it does because I would have NEVER booked otherwise. It is yucky and we left to go to another hotel even though it was a non-refundable booking. It wasn't worth staying. I wish I had taken photos but we were exhausted and just needed to get to somewhere that was nice and comfortable.

Enjoyed the roominess, but use some updates.

Hotel is outdated. Beds were uncomfortable and shook easily with any little movement which made it hard to sleep when sharing a bed. Room had an old musty smell to it. Toilet lid hinge was broken. Shower drained very slowly so stood in water to my ankles while taking a shower.

The bed's were fine. I was glad there was a mini refrigerator and microwave but surprised and bummed out there was not a coffee maker in the room.

Close to walkable dining options. Property needs updating, room was dark with not enough lights

A good place for an overnight stay while traveling on I-80. Comfortable bed, quite room. Curiously, NO lamps of any kind and only one bedside table. Only one small desk + chair. The room i set up for sleeping (on a good bed, it must be said) but for nothing else -- reading or working, for example.

Need modernizing of heating and cooling units.

This is an old Comfort Inn that has been updated but while it was clean, it's still a basic, no frills hotel but adequate for the price. There is no desk nor a relaxing chair or sofa, just chairs at the small dining room table. The refrigerator was noisy & did not keep things v cold. The freezer section really didn't work at all. My biggest complaint was after telling the manager I am v sensitive to noise & needed the quietest room available, I was given a room near a guest who left his dog alone in the room on a regular basis & the dog would bark loudly whenever it was left alone. Unfortunately, this was often during the day, every day, when I was trying to rest but I also heard it in the evening. The weekend staff acknowledged this guest did this regularly (one was polite about it, another was not sympathetic at all) but apparently chose to do nothing about it (like asking the guest to comply with the rule that pets can't be left alone or be asked to leave!). The manager who had been quite helpful when I checked in was not available on the weekend. The hotel is near a lot of fast food places but not much else food-wise. Breakfast was minimal: dry cereal, waffles, cheap pastries/muffins, some unappetizing biscuits & gravy. The location was convenient for what I was there for & I don't spend much time in hotel rooms so it was OK but just barely. If I return, I'll choose something better. If you want more comfort, look elsewhere; if no frills will do, it's OK.

Our room was nice enough, but thin walls and neighbors made for a long night. A female voice, not being loud/obnoxious could be clearly heard conversing in her room till after 2 AM. The other neighbor had 4 littles. Anyone talking in the hall may well have been right in our room. Nice enough, just not quiet.

The room was clean and the staff was friendly. The thermostat didn't work on the heating/AC unit.

The bathroom needs a little TLC. The room is quite dark.need a table lamp, or another wall lamp.

The Front Desk Clerk was very nice during check in. I was surprised to get a bag of snacks and a bottle of water after I checked in. Even though there were dogs in the next room I couldnt hear them in our room. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. I was in a hurry to get on the road so I grabbed a banana and a yogurt to go, but the breakfast looked good. I would stay here again.

Arrived early. My reserved room wasn't ready but they had another room of equal value that was ready so the staff made the switch and I was checked in early within 5 minutes.

At first we don't like, the reason was that I am allergic to cats and the room that they designated to us made me sick at soon we opened the door. But the employer at soon we informed him change the room that was just right.

The site said pet friendly but there was a charge for having a dog. This was not listed on the website and was a surprise charge.The guy who checked me in acted like he had heard this a million times and just shrugged it off. I felt put off

Check in host was awesome. Kind, quick and helpful. He needs a raise. Morning staff look like they just crawled out of bed. Still friendly but just on there phones.

There was a man who is supposed to be a receptionist. Unfortunately he was the rudest hotel worker i met for literally no reason, unless the reason is that he had to leave whatever he was watching on his laptop at the time. Asked him 2 questions because his explanation was horrible and made him even more upset. Room with 3 queen beds and only 1 small shampoo for 5 people. Asked for more and we got 1 more shampoo and half of conditioner… In comparison the lady in the morning was the total opposite.

Kern checked us in. He knew were we travel from and visited about that. He reassured me about the weather. He had to come to our room late at night because our kids locked the bathroom door and we couldn't get in. All through our stay this man went beyond excellent customer service!! They hotel was very clean and the beds were conformable. We will be staying here every time we coming for wrestling.

I got to the hotel late and the person at the front desk was friendly and incredibly helpful. At the rate paid, this was a very clean and nice hotel.

On our way home from a road trip. It was an easy exit and great location to restaurants for dinner and coffee in the morning.

Very comfortable, updated room w/mini-fridge, good-sized TV and lots of towels. Motel has a rustic western vibe. Convenient to restaurants and shopping...easy access to highway.

Easy access to I-80.

The property was older but was clean from entryway to hallway to room to breakfast area. And everything worked including USB outlets for powering devices. It was very conveniently located within walking distance of many restaurants.

Clean and comfortable. Breakfast was not deluxe. We didn't eat there, but it had a few selections ie. Waffle maker and biscuits and gravy.

This is a budget hotel that did not seem like one. It was clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the lobby had a beautiful aquarium full of tropical fish kept up by a staff member who maintains aquariums as a second job. The room was functional, well lit, clean, in good condition, and had the basic amenities that we needed. The breakfast was excellent for a budget hotel, having a wider variety of options than others, and the woman who tended the kitchen was very friendly while doing an excellent job of managing her area. Parking was free and spaces were available near the closest door to our room. We arrived during a fierce storm with 60 mph winds and heavy rain, so the satellite TV service wasn't functioning well. That was of little consequence, however, as the Internet service was very good and that was what we really needed. Overall, we were impressed and had our best hotel experience of a summer in which we travelled by car more than 8000 miles, literally coast to coast. It was also the least expensive hotel we stayed in.

Poor breakfast choices

Room was just okay, bathroom needs doorframe refreshed/painted, all trim needs replaced, dark interior. Needs a refresh. Breakfast was unsatisfactory, no eggs, bacon or sausage.

The room was quiet, and the beds were comfortable. Overall, though the entire property seems to be quite dated. The complimentary breakfast was marginal compared to other similar hotels. Only biscuits and gravy, and waffles were offered as hot items. Most similar hotels also offer eggs in some form and often sausage to go with it.

Overall nice place to stay. Could a bit more protein options for breakfast.
