Price was right, but you get what you pay for. There were dead bugs behind bathroom door. Nothing (Empty) vending machine. Washer out of order, no dryer. Breakfast room was closed at 8:45am. (Person on duty did open back up but had to wait for waffle makers to reheat) Dozens of bicycles parked along the front wall. Stains on carpet, wood on dresser chipped off.

The staff was nice, but the parking lot was super hard to navigate with the amount of potholes, Other issues we encountered, the toilet kept running every like 30 min and the pipes would squeal every time it would also, the bathtub drained super slow while showering.

A very cheap place to stay, quite old and run-down. Our room was pretty sleazy. All of the air conditioning units are attached to the windows and vent air directly from outside. The first night we stayed, there was a strong manure smell from outside that leached inside. The smoke detector on the ceiling was dismantled. The ice machine was broken and leaking an enormous puddle on the carpet. Breakfast was small, just cereal and toast and yogurts. Checking in was awkward since there was not a receptionist present immediately. There was an electronic doorbell to ring the receptionist but it didn’t work. There were two phone numbers I tried calling and eventually I summoned someone. Lots of trash around the property outside. I could hear every footstep of our upstairs neighbor. This was not the best stay, but it was certainly cheap for a reaso.

Terrible hotel. Entire lower floor smelled of curry. Had two rooms, one had huge cobwebs around the ceiling. Ok one had broken tv, furniture, mold on the mini fridge, dirty bathroom and the door to the bathroom was about to fall off the wall. Tried to get ice but the ice had black things frozen in it.

The entire place smelled like cigarette smoke in my opinion. My room was across the hallway from the exposed washer/dryer and late in the evening someone was drying items that was banging the drum loudly.

We asked for an accessible room but didn't get one and also wanted 1st floor but was upstairs. Didn't make much difference as this is a split level so either up or down. The sign said call all day, but that was locked up and they said at breakfast time. No coffee in the room. Soft bed but ok once sleeping. This is a transient hotel as we got there and a group staying for a month were leaving. Lots of trash outside the back area. Needs a good cleaning. Won't stay at this one again.

Wasn’t too impressed. The TV’s didn’t work at all for the entire stay. Hallways smelled like smoke. Minimal water pressure in the bathroom sink. Vending machines were empty. Ceiling in the bathroom had been patched but not repaired completely.

The rooms are filthy. I traveled with 10 people, we had 6 rooms. All were disgusting. My room had food debris everywhere, in the dresser drawers, on the carpet, under the chair cushions. I wiped up the bathroom floor with disinfectant wipes and they turned black. There was no smoke alarm. The window did not lock. It was a busy week in Kearney and with 6 rooms, we couldn't change. This place should be shut down. It's despicable for the owners to treat people like this.

So after about being in room for about an hour, found a bug. At first it appeared to be a tic. After further research it was discovered to be a bed bug, then found a bunch more. Used an old water bottle to help identify. Got new room and turned it upside down looking for more bugs. This room was clean. Not the hotel's fault but was, I am a nurse, I instructed how to clean room for next to no cost, delt with them before a long time ago. They did not listen. Therefore I cannot recommend staying there.

It was not clean, found a pair of dirty women’s underware in the corner of the room! AC didn’t work properly and it was 97degrees that day. Breakfast was horrible, stale muffins was all there was! Bed old and lumpy. Wyndham should not have their name on this property.

This Super 8 needs a lot of work. Our bathroom sink drain was broken, bathroom lights didn’t work, lampshades were torn, mattress pad was stained, and room smelled of stale smoke.

I don't usually do negative reviews but you need to know this place smells like urine. I stayed in two different rooms (163 and then 171) and both absolutely reeked of urine. The property itself is really run down and I don't mind that because it's cheap but the urine is a deal breaker. It starts to make your clothes smell. I had to go buy some Glade plug ins and turn them on high and I could still smell the urine. It's a shame because the owners seem nice. There is a free breakfast. If you don't mind the urine smell it's cheap and I didn't feel unsafe here.

Room was decent except the television didn't work. I was told while checking in that they're having technical issues. Not sure how long they had the network issues. Television didn't work for all three days while there. There was breakfast available, your usual continental and nothing really special.

It was cheap and that's it. The bed reminded me of the beds in the old-time movies where the guy gets in bed and it folds up around him - mattress, no box spring. I'm not a heavy person, but I was sleeping a good four inches below the edge of the mattress. My wife and I kept rolling into each other. The breakfast was OK, but that's it. The man at the front desk was apologetic, but nothing more.

If you are desperate for a cheap place to stay, this will do. If not, move on. There were many less-than-stellor individuals hanging around the place. The first thing we did in the morning was to go check on our vehicle to make sure it had not been broken into or stripped. The door on my room had a broken security chain nor would the deadbolt lock. Bathtub doesn't drain properly. Mattresses are worn out. Dead bugs on the bathroom floor. Couch in the checkin is delapidated. Yea...skip this one.

The check-in wasn’t what you’d call friendly, but at least he was quick. The property is little more than a gravel lot which calls itself pet friendly, but there’s no place to walk a dog that’s safe. The air conditioner wasn’t on so the room was muggy but it does work well once you figure it out. There is no Kleenex in the room, a hole in the sheet, the toilet paper holder doesn’t have a roller so the toilet paper is just set in the hole, and, although there are lots of plugs in the room no place to plug in a charger unless you have an adapter—what is this, the 80’s? The refrigerator seems to work well and the beds are reasonably comfortable.

The hotel is in a pretty rough looking area. There were a lot of questionable looking people hanging out in the parking lot at all times. I’m fairly certain there was quite a bit of less than legal business being conducted both inside and outside of the motel. I did not see an employee there the entire stay. When I called because no one was coming to check me in, I was told my key was in the basket on the counter. Throughout my multiple trips past the desk during my stay, I never once saw an employee there. The room was very dated and the wall mounted AC unit had way more wires hanging out of it than would probably be considered safe. Definitely not worth what they’re changing.

You get what you get for the price when it comes to cleanliness, amenities, and lack of upgrades. But what you shouldn't get is a basket of random key cards left accessible for anyone to use. We checked in quite late and I could have picked any random card and gone into any random room because staff wasn't there to help us and they were all left out for late check ins. We also asked staff for a crib, they said they don't offer cribs even though it's listed as an amenity on their site. So we asked for a cot, they said they don't have cots, even though we were standing 6ft away from them and I could literally see them. After pointing to them, they begrudgingly gave us one. We also had someone (assuming staff?) walk into our room at 8am while we we're still sleeping. No idea why.

Comfortable bed. quiet. Been better ifff they had an elevator instead of stairs carring luggage,drinks,food. I left my IPad there and continued on to IOWA, and they called me the next morning and said they found it, and i asked them to keep it for a week before i would be back thru, and they said yes, they would put it in their safe until i come back. I also stayed that night to pay them back for keeping the IPad for me. Very thankful for them to call me and to keep it for me. I would stay there again when i go thru again

It started when I checked in, the front desk clerk was not friendly & kept putting me on the phone with her manager. I told her I needed to pay the pet fee. They did not accept cash & the card reader was not working so she asked for my credit card then proceeded to take a picture of it stating she had to send it to her manager. I asked her to delete the picture with me there & we would go somewhere else. She deleted the picture & handed me the room key. It had been a long drive so we decided to give it a try. The outside was horrible & when we got into the room it was not much better. The bed was caved in & had no support, you had to slam the door to get it to shut, the toilet didn’t flush & there was barely any hot water. Be warned!

The location is perfect for observing migrating cranes in the area. The manager assigned me a room with a simple kitchen, which he said would be convenient for my 8-day stay. Throughout my time here, it has indeed proven to be very helpful. However, housekeeping only came once during my stay, and after cleaning, they didn't replenish towels, shampoo, or soap.

The hotel is in a pretty rough looking area. There were a lot of questionable looking people hanging out in the parking lot at all times. I’m fairly certain there was quite a bit of less than legal business being conducted both inside and outside of the motel. I did not see an employee there the entire stay. When I called because no one was coming to check me in, I was told my key was in the basket on the counter. Throughout my multiple trips past the desk during my stay, I never once saw an employee there. The room was very dated and the wall mounted AC unit had way more wires hanging out of it than would probably be considered safe. Definitely not worth what they’re changing.

The first room we given was occupied or hadn't been serviced as there was stuff all over when we opened the door. Went back to the desk and were given another room. Could have been a bit cleaned but fine for a stopover. There were choices of places to eat close by.

If you are desperate for a cheap place to stay, this will do. If not, move on. There were many less-than-stellor individuals hanging around the place. The first thing we did in the morning was to go check on our vehicle to make sure it had not been broken into or stripped. The door on my room had a broken security chain nor would the deadbolt lock. Bathtub doesn't drain properly. Mattresses are worn out. Dead bugs on the bathroom floor. Couch in the checkin is delapidated. Yea...skip this one.

Price was right, but you get what you pay for. There were dead bugs behind bathroom door. Nothing (Empty) vending machine. Washer out of order, no dryer. Breakfast room was closed at 8:45am. (Person on duty did open back up but had to wait for waffle makers to reheat) Dozens of bicycles parked along the front wall. Stains on carpet, wood on dresser chipped off.

Scary place. Food so ridiculous they shouldnt even say they have breakfast. No fruit and 2 yogurts with cereal and waffles. We were first to come at 6am so no one else got yogurt. Smelled like old and door lock latch broke. Was scared all night.

A man, who I never even gave my name to, came up the stairs, barefooted, and only after I had to call him from the front desk…and said “here’s your key” & walked away. We did get in late, around 2:30 am. He then called our room and had my husband get out of bed, to go pay a pet fee that wasn’t mentioned to us, nor were any amenities or instruction given upon “check in” (I.e. when the barefooted man handed a room key to a stranger) The pillows smelled like an un showered person had been sleeping on them, there was someone’s comb on the floor and the a/c was not great! I wouldn’t have eaten breakfast in such a dank and musty smelling place if my life depended on it! (even if I woke up in time)
