Very accommodating and nice staff. The whole area was really lovely. The coffee machine keeps breaking down but staff were quick to fix it. The dining area was also quite small so will be challenging to find a table when all the guests are there for breakfast. Quite remote if you dont have your own car.

Stunning location for weddings. The hotel itself is full of character and quirkiness. However the rooms are cold, toilets don’t flush properly and there is no gym.

Breakfast is advertised as being from 7am on this website, according to the hotel it is 7:30am. Due to traffic and the roads around this area, I felt unable to stay and have breakfast as I could have been late to work. I do not know who is resposible for adding the breakfast times on here but the start time is misleading. Accommodation good, quiet and plenty of parking space.

Double rooms are only double beds. No King size beds at all. Every hotel has king size beds! Not obvious on the booking site, misleading. Breakfast ends at 09:30 so be warned as they will clear everything straight away. There isn't any Air Condition in the rooms which get very hot. The reception staff are very nice. Not 4☆ Has great potential but suspect the owners have other priorities!

The website shows a beautiful building but the rooms are a 10 min walk in a separate modern building. Could not find our room because of incorrect signage. Nothing replaced in our room (soap, shampoo, loo roll). Lovely staff. Great location. Quiet. Good WiFi. Warm. No smart TV. Not sure we’d rush back there.

Nice Hotel in lovely grounds. Good they do reasonably priced single rooms for business trips. Excellent breakfast. At reception they did say the bar would be open until 11.30pm but last orders was 10.30pm and they refused to serve a couple that came in at 10.35pm, so be warned.

Fantastic picturesque beautiful hotel great staff and all credit to housekeeping the room was spotless and bathroom sparkling clean. We were dissoppointed to find we were in the Grange mot the main house until after we made the . we decided to continue with the booking as the grange website clearly shows a games room with pool table. We were traveling with a teenager so this was important to us, on arrival not only did we find no games room or pool table we asked at reception to be told it had never been there (photos attached grange website and carpets even the same!!) The Grange itself was lovely and again spotless lovely riverside walk to a wonderful breakfeast The website needs to be clearer on showing facilities not avaliable as it was a shame for our teen.

Feel like i was mis-sold this place, the actual accommodation was in a seperate annex a fairly long walk from the main building. I ended up drivind down but thee was no parking space. This want helped by poor signage to find reception etc in the dark. After an early start and a full day of meetings the amount of messing around to get into the room was a real pain. Once there the room was ok, if a little damp Check out was painless, ans soulless. The receptionist showed no interest in me and was more concerned with what was on their screen. I won't be going back

First impressions of the hotel were really good. Its beautiful and the grounds were stunning. Check in was quick and easy and the lady on reception was polite. We didnt stay in the main hotel so i cannot comment on that. We were in The Grange, we had 3 rooms within the group and all of them were awful. There was hardly any water pressure. One of the rooms couldnt flush the toilet, the door handle to the outside area was broken. My room looked like someone had just put any old furniture in there. There was light bulbs out of tbe lights, the towel rail was held on by tape, the bed was completely broken and had to sleep the other way around because it was so bad. Room i wouldnt say was clean there was sugar packets in the bed. Ok if your not fussy and a quick stop over. Would not stay more than 1 night. 2/10

It is a beautiful building but unfortunately except for the dining room the interior is looking tired. Our room was in the annex on the top floor. A very small room with tired furniture. The bathroom was clean but unfortunately there was quite a strong smell of damp. The staff were all very friendly. Just feels like it needs updating

3rd time we have stayed so obviously a nice place but this time the bed was really uncomfortable, no plug for bathroom sink just a big gaping hole. Room wasn’t very clean and a few ants around joining us for breakfast. Staff as usual are great

Truly disappointed with what looked a nice place to stay. I was placed in the Grange, 80 odd bedrooms, and a few hundred yards from the main building. Not enough parking spaces on hard standing without going on the grass which was waterlogged. The toilet was disgusting, brown under the waterline and wouldn’t flush. Not acceptable. A big stain on the carpet in the room. No staff at the reception in the Grange meaning you had to go to the main reception a few hundred yards away. The door I had to use to get into the Grange wouldn’t close and there was a post it note on an inner door saying don’t close as the cleaner was the only person with a key. The rest was average without being special. When I handed the key back I told the receptionist of the problems and she said a member of the management would contact me. Needless to say they haven’t. There was a leak on the staircase directly to my room. Which wet the fire alarm of. I had to squeesze past the door and a bin colecting the leak water The room wasnt very clean. The bedding had stains on The shower spratwd everywhere. Disappointed to say the least.

The deluxe room was lovely but with the condensation from the shower the bathroom cream walls were full of black streaking lines so needs a good clean.

Very disappointing stay as the accessible room we requested was not as expected or as advertised (pictured). The corridor to the room smelled of cat wee, the room itself was very dated, needed decorating, had an old bed (comfy though) and smelt of the cat wee wafting in from the corridor. The hotel was full on our first night so we couldn't move rooms however we were moved to a much better room on the 2nd night. For such an outstanding property there is much (easy) work to be done to bring it up to standard. We ordered breakfast and this too was a massive disappointment. No direction as to where anything was (spread over various rooms), only one waitress available and she was rushed off her feet trying to cope with all the tables and kept forgetting things. Everything took an age to get and was cold by the time we came to eat it. There was a function on on Saturday which is why the hotel was full but there were not enough staff to cater for the amount of visitors in the morning. The reception staff were very helpful and managed to change our rooms on the 2nd day. This could be a lovely hotel with a little more effort gone into the basic things like providing enough waiting staff at busy times, decorating the groundfloor bedrooms, removing the smells in the corridor.

Im not one to complain but i had a very bad night sleep..it was not a normal size double either. The Grange is quite a distance from the main building which is where the bar and restaurant are...and it was Saturday with very little parking...the main building looked gorgeous. My bedroom was very basic and the bath was dirty...it was also smelly. On the plus side i did enjoy a good breakfast and the restaurant looked lovely.

Day reception was very nice and tried to accommodate as much as possible even though checkin wasn't till 3pm. Grounds were lovely. However, room was very small and a bit worn for the price. The blinds were held up by pins and it didn't seem like the could be raised or lower.

The location was nice and our second room was decorated nicer, we had to move due to noise from an event they had on, also both rooms were very warm and we were only provided with a basic fan. The breakfast was nice and we had a good look around the grounds, but it was a warm couple of days.

We booked a room with a double bed. But the bed turned out better out to be two single beds pushed together. The mattresses both sat at different levels, causing a ridge in the middle. This made for a very uncomfortable night. As result my partner woke up the next day in pain with a bad back were she had been sleeping across the centre ridge. We informed the reception staff of our experience and was told the complaint would be looked into, but haven’t heard anything back.

Beautiful hotel and lovely room for a last minute booking. Although, the room was really hot and stuffy as the radiator was (unnecessarily) on and we couldn’t open the sash window as it had been painted shut. Had to use a fan all night. Also, only one bedside table. I would still come here again as it was great value for such a lovely location.

No blinds in room. Temperature of room was very warm despite atmospheric temp wasn't hot, with no air con and only a cheap fan as relief. Sleeping was therefore not easy. General facilities and staff were good and helpful. The venue itself is lovely as are the grounds.

Room 37 - mattress is like sleeping on a wooden floor. If you don’t want to hear neighbours having late night fun, refuse this room. The adjoining door isn’t sound proof!

We went as a family to a good friends wedding. After reading some of the reviews we were a little nervous. Shouldn't have been, everything was superb. The extra bed was missing for our daughter, a quick call to reception, within 10 mins, Claire from house keeping arrived and with little fuss the extra bed was positioned and made. The breakfast on both mornings was delightful, with a wide range for all tastes. We will be going back as the afternoon tea looked great.

Stunning location and grounds. The hotel is well presented, staff attentive. Although the restaurant service could be a little better. Apparently there was two menus for the restaurant and we were only offered one. Food was excellent. Super place for walks, relaxing and weddings. We will be hoing back next year for Christmas celebrations.

Beautiful house with amazing grounds. Our room was comfortable but tired. What let it down for us was the service. The reception staff were fabulous but we had a long wait at the bar to get a drink on the evening of our arrival and had to approach three staff before one of them came to serve. Beautiful house with amazing grounds. Our room was comfortable but tired. What let it down for us was the service. The reception staff were fabulous but we had a long wait at the bar to get a drink on the evening of our arrival and had to approach three staff before one of them came to serve. Had to ask to change room on check in as not what we had booked. Room was tired, TV didn’t work. No one on the bar serving on arrival, had to shout through to kitchen to get someone. Breakfast service was awful with coffee machine persistently running out of water, cooked food running low and a lack of any senior staff to effect change. Will not be returning

The Gentleman who was on duty the time we checked in needs a big promotion. Splendid service, belpful, polite, considerate and very humble. We were late to check in, but when we phoned him, he waited for us, we had a child, 9 years . We were treated like vip.

Beautiful location and grounds, let down by inexperienced/ poorly trained staff and poor maintenance. Previously stayed in high end hotels that had been bought and run on the cheap by new owners. I'm not saying this is the case, but it feels like it.

Very disappointing stay as the accessible room we requested was not as expected or as advertised (pictured). The corridor to the room smelled of cat wee, the room itself was very dated, needed decorating, had an old bed (comfy though) and smelt of the cat wee wafting in from the corridor. The hotel was full on our first night so we couldn't move rooms however we were moved to a much better room on the 2nd night. For such an outstanding property there is much (easy) work to be done to bring it up to standard. We ordered breakfast and this too was a massive disappointment. No direction as to where anything was (spread over various rooms), only one waitress available and she was rushed off her feet trying to cope with all the tables and kept forgetting things. Everything took an age to get and was cold by the time we came to eat it. There was a function on on Saturday which is why the hotel was full but there were not enough staff to cater for the amount of visitors in the morning. The reception staff were very helpful and managed to change our rooms on the 2nd day. This could be a lovely hotel with a little more effort gone into the basic things like providing enough waiting staff at busy times, decorating the groundfloor bedrooms, removing the smells in the corridor.

The website shows a beautiful building but the rooms are a 10 min walk in a separate modern building. Could not find our room because of incorrect signage. Nothing replaced in our room (soap, shampoo, loo roll). Lovely staff. Great location. Quiet. Good WiFi. Warm. No smart TV. Not sure we’d rush back there.

Lovely hotel surrounded by greenery with a few cows grazing too! Breakfast was lovely. Took me 35 minutes to get to Heathrow; far more pleasant than the fringes of West London.

Feel like i was mis-sold this place, the actual accommodation was in a seperate annex a fairly long walk from the main building. I ended up drivind down but thee was no parking space. This want helped by poor signage to find reception etc in the dark. After an early start and a full day of meetings the amount of messing around to get into the room was a real pain. Once there the room was ok, if a little damp Check out was painless, ans soulless. The receptionist showed no interest in me and was more concerned with what was on their screen. I won't be going back

The gardens were beautiful, some changes being made at the back along the beautiful canal which I cannot wait to see when I go back! Hotel itself was lovely as expected however the true surprise was the food. If anybody even thinks they like Indian style food, then you must go there even if you are not staying in hotel. it was the best prawns I’ve ever eaten, the best naan-bread I’ve ever eaten and overall the food was just spectacular. We were served by a waiter for manager called Harry who was polite, explained all the food and was a joy to talk to can’t wait to go back .

Stunning location and grounds. The hotel is well presented, staff attentive. Although the restaurant service could be a little better. Apparently there was two menus for the restaurant and we were only offered one. Food was excellent. Super place for walks, relaxing and weddings. We will be hoing back next year for Christmas celebrations.

This was our 4th stay at Warbrook, and we have always found it excellent. Sadly on this occasion, Sunday breakfast was chaos... the staff (who I have to say were doing a marvellous job under very difficult circumstances) were rushed off their feet - people were constantly having to wait for the cooked breakfast items to be replenished, and I personally was very disappointed that there was no yoghurt to go with the fruit selection, they had simply run out.

Disappointing stay. The hotel is generally considered a 4* and the grounds are beautiful however but the overall experience fell short - while clean, the room was very tired and in definitely need of a refresh. Breakfast wasn’t great either - the bacon was very dried up, scrambled eggs were wet and sloppy and overall, the food was sub-standard and not worth paying for. While in the dining area, I overheard another guest complaining about the quality of food. For such a beautiful building and backdrop, the stay wasn’t worth the money and was overall disappointing.

10/10 experience! For the price we paid this hotel was absolutely brilliant!! The grounds are beautiful and the onsite Indian restaurant was fantastic. The staff at the restaurant in both the evening and at breakfast was superb! Breakfast was plentiful and hot! The room was idea for what we needed. Would recommend

Had a lovely couple of nights. Evening meal in the restaurant was delicious, and the breakfasts were superb. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Wish we'd had more energy and better weather to explore the grounds.

The bed sheets and pillows are cheap awful quality in the Grange building. In comparison the Mansion is quite luxurious. Stayed in both several times and other than the Mansion house on hot days absolutely cooking you stay there for the extra £10!

I really enjoyed our one night stay at the Warbrook. We were travelling as a family of 5 plus a small dog - we therefore had a total of three rooms, 2 in the old house and one in the Grange which is about 200m away from the old house. All rooms were clean and appeared recently decorated / renovated. I was really impressed with the rooms. The bed was comfortable (a little soft to my personal taste) and the bathrooms were great with rain showers. Rooms had all the facilities one would expect - tea/coffee facilities, iron & board, hair dryer etc... The only negative I would say and this was only evident during a heatwave, was there were no airconditioning in the rooms. There were however, very capable tower fans which aided a good nights sleep - even though they were a little noisy. The staff on reception were very friendly and helpful (Sonya) and the staff at breakfast were also efficient and friendly. Breakfast was really good - the sausages and the scrambled eggs are worthy of special mention. The grounds and setting are really worth half an hour to explore. I recommend walking around the lake in the early morning - I saw plenty of dear and birdlife and it opens up a spectacular vista of the old house. when we arrived, there was a wedding taking place in a part of the grounds - that said, it didn't interfere with our stay at all and no noise could be heard from our rooms. I feel that a real effort is being made by this hotel and I applaud their efforts. I would stay again.

The hotel is a lovely place and the grounds are amazing. Our room No 74 was ok but net curtains were marked and rail old, flaking and fragile. It broke off the window before we left. Drinking glasses had lipstick marks and coffee cups and teaspoon not cleaned. The room was very hotel but understandable due to weather but a fan provided but still very hot.
