Excellent stay for us. Very kind staff. Awesome value. The breakfast was wonderful. It had something for everyone. Our only complaint was that the tv had a slightly damaged screen. Safe area it seemed. We had a truck with equipment in the back that we were able to park outside our room to keep an eye on. Would definitely stay here again. Several hotels in the area and we were glad to have chosen this one.

When called to confirm having a reservation at this hotel I was told "no" by the staff person that took my call. So I made a reservation because I'd already flown into Memphis and was on my way to Batesville. Once I arrived I was not given the same rate given over the phone. The staff person had issues with basic math. Then when called Hotel.com/Expedia, they desired to speak with a manager for crediting two days because after that first night stay my brother and I decided to get a Marriott in Memphis. No manger was available for emergencies, and I was told because of the holiday weekend email is the fastest for a reply from management. It was Monday, July 6th before having a response back from the manager and I had to again reach out to the staff on Sunday, July 5th, to again request a response from management. All in all Hotel.com/Expedia charged $496 and I paid $159 at the Fairfield Marriott. Then when call Fairfield Marriott in Batesville I was told I had 2 bookings, and the $496 charge the manager at the hotel said they couldn't do anything about which I paid there at the hotel. Manager said the $159 charger was from Fairfield. After returning home & waiting 3 days for the $496 to drop and it didn't I took matters into my own hands. I'm a Marriott Bonvoy participant and have stayed at wonderful Marriott hotels in Cairo and the Marquis in New York. It's my hope Batesville will strive for having better customer service when people use a 3rd party and educate staff for ER.
