Cove Haven Resort

Had a very nice relaxing weekend. We stayed in the champagne tower room. The activities were fun, the employees were awesome. Billy O the game guy was great even though he picked on me often haha. Breakfast wasn't that great though. We did enjoy the food in the spooner cafe. And the male comedian was great! DJ and live music was also great! Cant wait to go back

This was a surprise trip from my husband and he was very nervous, but he and I were so impressed by the beautiful grounds scattered with friendly deer and geese. The staff in the office were so helpful with every question we had. We had the meal plan which was well worth the cost. Full breakfast buffet along with the dinner which included soup to dessert! Simple choice like a great burger up to prime rib! The waiters and waitresses got to know us and were extremely friendly and fun. Rooms could have stood some updates but for baby boomers, we appreciated the nostalgia. When we requested room tidying and clean linens, the staff was very accommodating. We plan on driving up to see the leaves changing in October. Holidays seem fun with things scheduled every weekend. Splurge and really relax and enjoy. Life is too short. Boat ride was a great time too🍾💕🎉

The room was clean and the cleaning help and maintenance worker where great. Basically the day we arrive it was a brake down of management. It was a all inclusive stay although when we went for the dining experience no one told us we needed a reservation. For dinner and breakfast. We weren't the only couples that hadn't been told how to make the reservation. I even called the front desk to make sure our reservation would be sent. When we arrived the front desk didn't confirm that we would be dining. They did take us but other were turned away. We arrived for dinner at 8:30 pm take we thought would have been confirmed by the front deck. It wasn't! The hostess was upset that we never make the reservation with them because that's the way it should have been done and there's a time of day to made the reservations. How would I have none that or anyone else. Even when I called them no one answered the phone and that was why I called the front desk and still after confirming the time the reservation was not confirmed. Anyway the first night the food was inedible the next morning we were starving for food so we had our again with no reservation. They made a point of saying that. We didn't eat there the second night. On the third night that we hadn't made a reservation for dinner we arrived on time sat for dinner and all the waiter were so stressed out do to the kitchen staff inexperience and loosing orders we sat after 10 pm. before our main dish was served. Never received our soup.

This property obviously took a hit since COVID, but it is still one of our favorite places to go. The food is still incredible, the staff are all friendly and welcoming, and there are still plenty of activities both inside and outside. The room was super clean and still beautiful. I hope they can restore it back to what it used to be.
