Overall this was a great choice. I was visiting family nearby and didn't spend a lot of time in the hotel, so I gave a good rating for some of the categories as I didn't get to try them. The hotel was easy to find and located very near an outdoor shopping mall with good chain restaurant choices, a Walmart, TJ Maxx and other stores. Within walking distance of the hotel are a Wendy's and Chipotle. The area felt very safe. Check-in was great, the lobby is very clean. The hotel staff were friendly. When we got to our room, there was a slight bleach smell and I would rather that than a moldy smell. The bathroom and room were clean and lots of towels. Beds were very comfortable. I didn't eat the breakfast, my son did and said it was great. I would definitely stay here again.

I would have given this location a 5-star rating across the board, were it not for the fact that they obviously need to deep-clean their HVAC system and/or air conditioning. I'm not sure what the cause of the odor was, but our room reeked of mildew. (The bathroom fan didn't work, so maybe that's an issue too -- no ventilation. And the windows don't open.) The staff were very responsive, helpful and pleasant, and offered us a room switch. The only reason I didn't take them up on it was that I smelled similar odors coming from other rooms when the doors were open, and from a fan unit outside the building. I wasn't confident that a room switch would help the problem. However, the front desk staff gave us plenty of extra coffee pods, which helped absorb some of the odor when placed in cups around the room. Free breakfast was great, the pool and gym areas serviceable. All-day water and coffee were delicious. Again, wonderful service from the staff.
