The room was very dusty and certainly hadn’t been cleaned recently by the amount of dust on every surface! The room itself was nice with water views and lots of light but it just hadn’t be cleaned!! Such a shame !!!

After another motel in Nowra had lost my booking I lucked onto the Anchor Bay. Was met by Jodie who was super welcoming and helpful. Room was good and spacious, well and thoughtfully appointed and a terrific location. A short but most enjoyable stay.

For the price excellent with good amenities and a good bed with good linens. Host very helpful and responsive though had trouble contacting him by phone before arrival. Location in a quiet residential area with lovely gardens.

The public swimming pool, with a paddling pool, is just over the road, and there is a small port and a playground within about 150 metres.The rooms are well equipped, with cutlery, crockery, and even green tea and ground coffee with a French press, which we did not have in other motels. Very good welcome, and good information about the area. There are eating options nearby.

A very comfortable stay right by the water at Anchor Bay. A great location, and a very clean and well appointed room. We originally booked for 1 night, but were able to extend it to 2 nights because of torrential rain & strong winds for our drive home down the South Coast. There were no nearby cafes or restaurants open, but we were able to get food supplies from the local IGA a short drive away. We would return for another stay, hopefully in brighter weather.

Kudos to the fantastic location at the Greenwell point... with the quiet river, the pelicans, the flight of the thousands of cockatoos, fishing boats and amazing sunrise views!! An irritating issue inside the rooms. Everytime someone turns on the bathroom taps, it generates a distinct humming noise especially in the dead of the night! Otherwise property is well looked after. Overall was a good experience. Feels more like a resort than a motel.
