The hotel staff was friendly however, the rooms definitely need some help. The bathroom door wouldn't shut, there was some kind of black stuff all over the ceiling and it needs repainted. I went to the pool and you couldn't see the bottom because the water was so disgusting. I will not stay here again.

The pool and hot tub were the main reason we booked here, and it was worth it! Loved the room with a living room/kitchen area and separate bedroom. Rooms are a little dated but were very clean and comfortable. Cold AC and hot showers...what else can you ask for?! Breakfast had a variety of items which worked well for my picky toddler! Very close to a bunch of restaurants and shopping.

The maid never cleaned the room, garbage bin was overflowing. Room AC/Heater was very noisy. Property is not up to par with other Hampton Inns. Pool and Hot Tub were filthy and smelly lacking chlorination, I caught athletes foot fungus there. Hallway has very low ceilings, you may hit your head if you are over 6 feet tall. My advise is to stay at different hotel. This one unfortunately is poorly maintained :(

We traveled here to go to go to the space center. The hotel is decent, though the area around it is rather rundown. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the hotel was in good shape. Parking is plentiful and there are plenty of restaurants in the area. The gym was clean and, everything worked, so I was pretty pleased overall

Hotel was very dirty in the shower. It had grown mold that had to have gone on for at least weeks. There cannot be any quality control if this was allowed to go on. There were also curly hairs on the floor in the shower. The water pipes were crazy loud. I had to call the front desk at 6:15am. They could hear it loudly over the phone. The opener for the curtains did not work. The bed was comfortable enough. I think some of the plugs did not work either. The breakfast was fine. I did not ask for anything. I just told them and left. I wanted out!

Until they renovate the rooms there are better options out there. Our room was in poor shape with peeling wall covering, stains on the walls, and doors that wouldn’t shut due to swelling, among other things. Upon entering the entire room had a strong mildew odor, and the carpet was sticky throughout the room. They had no other room to move us to. So I had to go buy a giant can of Lysol spray and blast the entire carpet with it to make staying there tolerable. The room was very dated with a small TV in a stand on top of the dresser. A very old school wall a/c unit with dented in top. No charging ports and no reading lights. Come on - get with the times! The exhaust fan in the bathroom didn’t have enough gusto to hold a single tissue against the grill - thus all the mildew and other problems in the room. Hey Hilton - a little maintenance goes a long way - just sayin. The breakfast was very middle of the road but passable. Breakfast area was well stocked and clean though. Lobby and pool area also were good. Ice machine worked great so that was plus. Oh and the staff was really nice and friendly despite the dated and beat up room. That was a plus. But I highly recommend that you look for another hotel unless cost is the only thing you care about and you normally travel with Lysol spray.

Hampton Inns are generally 5 stars but I only gave 4 stars on this one due leaking tub, loud a/c, and loud noises from slamming doors - most of these items could be fixed for little costs.

When we checked in Daveena at the front desk was polite and helpful. Very friendly. The room shade did not work and we reported in the morning. The person at the front desk she would report it but seemed ver uninterested in the problem. No apology. The elevator push button in the lobby is falling apart. One of the cars shoes floor 2 when you are on floor 1

The rooms are VERY nice, hotel is quiet, water pressure in the shower is top tier & doesn’t spray everywhere like other places (idk why, but that’s very important to me lol), bed is SUPER comfortable & pillows feel like Heaven!

The pillows are so flat it took two to raise my head enough that my neck didn’t hurt the next day. Air conditioner was so loud. It sounded like someone was running a saw in the next room. There was no water for purchase in the hotel when we arrived.

Room service wasn’t very friendly. They seemed a little annoyed when you would request something which I thought was unprofessional. Anyone could literally walk off from the street and access the pool area. I thought that was very sketchy and not very private. The wifi internet was very slow and staff didn’t know how to upgrade internet services to premium which I thought was disappointing. And I was willing to pay for the services.

I really like the convenience of where the hotel is located in regards of what we wanted to visit between Houston and Galveston. I like the set up of a small kitchen and sofa bed. What I didn't like was we had a room that wasn't renovated yet. There was a crack in the shower and the air conditioner wasn't initially working but they fixed it in a timely manner. The manager was nice and resolved any issues we had. My main issue was the worker in the breakfast area assuming I was stealing food. I have 2 kids and it was easier to take food back to the room and eat in the dining table in our room. I did this to give them time to wake up. The worker saw me come from the elevator and asked if I was staying there. She asked for my room key, asked what room I was staying in, and still didn't believe me. She even went up to the front desk I'm guessing to see if I was telling the truth. I told the front desk lady to verify me if she needed. We stayed a week and I felt like I wasn't welcomed to get breakfast. I had to have my husband go down there the rest of the days. Since we have stayed in the area before, I will rethink staying here because of this in the future.

The worker saw me come from the elevator and asked if I was staying there. She asked for my room key, asked what room I was staying in, and still didn't believe me. She even went up to the front desk I'm guessing to see if I was telling the truth. I told the front desk lady to verify me if she needed. We stayed a week and I felt like I wasn't welcomed to get breakfast. I had to have my husband go down there the rest of the days. Since we have stayed in the area before, I will rethink staying here because of this in the future.

Cristal at the front desk went above and beyond. We had just gotten off a cruise ship in galveston and we had a lyft drive drop us off at 9:30 in the morning to see if they could hold our luggage while we went to the space center until check in at 3pm. Cristal stated she could. I asked if it was possible that they might have a room available early. Cristal stated they did and she could go ahead and let us have it early. I could have cried. My husband is disabled, we were tired and for Cristal to let us check in early was more amazing for us than you can imagine. It allowed my husband a chance to lay down and rest and get a cup of coffee. Cristal's kindness was amazing! It meant so so much to us. Hampton has my business forever now!!Thank you Cristal, your kindness meant so much to us!!

The staff was extremely friendly and helpfull. I was treated like a VIP by everyone that I had contact with. The room was very clean, comfortable bed, but what made it exceptional was the staff! All were so friendly, especially Christian, the admissions clerk, Rhonda, with the breakfast service, and Amanda as well. It’s because of Christian especially that I will always choose Hampton Inn & Suites whenever I travel.

I really liked the service here. The young man at the desk was very professional. He was very professional, and polite! His appearance was very neat and clean cut! Breakfast was fresh. The lady over the breakfast area was very welcoming,friendly, polite and helpful. Me and my wife really enjoyed our stay!

Wonderful hotel Great location to just walk to dinner 2.5 miles from Johnson Space Center The Front desk clerk was just so friendly and helpful with dinner suggestions. She was very welcoming. We would definitely stay here again without a doubt!

The location was perfect! Nothing was more than a 30 min drive away. The breakfast was really good. Only complaint is my air did not seem to be working well and also I did see a few roaches in my bathroom. Other than that it wasn’t a bad stay. The hotel did not appear to be dirty.

We arrived at 3:15 pm for 3 pm check-in. Girl at desk informed me the room would not be available for another 25-30 mins and would send a text message when room was ready. After 40 mins. we went to desk, and no one was there. After waiting about 5 minutes the same girl came back to the check-in desk. I asked if the room was available and she said yes. I asked her why I didn't receive a text, all she could do was say she was too busy. After entering the room, there were a few towels and no hand towels, only 1 roll of toilet paper and no shower gel.
