Staff for check in after 9pm was scarce. Had to search the grounds for someone to help me . Was disappointed it advertised heated pool but the pool did not feel heated and appeared to be unkempt. Room was clean .

This hotel was a good value and the staff was very helpful and pleasant, but the place needs a face lift. Hallway carpet is worn and stained. Ceiling in my first room was peeling in spots. The pool itself was nice, but the concrete deck was in bad shape, peeling and ugly. Plus the patio furniture was torn and needing to be replaced. A few plants and a touch of decor is needed also.

The front desk person is lovely. The room smelled musty and like cigarettes. The room carpet and linen were damp to the touch. The space was dark and walls marked, scratched and painted poorly. The price is elevated compared to other hotels in the area that are brand new, we choose your hotel because in the name it states quality however there is nothing about this room that is quality.

The room was not up to average. The sheets were not changed there was hair on them when we pulled back the top cover. The bathtub was dirty, there was debris I stepped on when walking into the bathroom. This was not acceptable. We asked to have the sheet’s changed and the man that answered said what would you like me to do, give you a new room!!! We said why would it be any cleaner? We asked for new sheets and he brought them to our room and we had to change them ourselves! This was bullcrap!

Once I checked in to my room, I have opened the bed sheet and it was dirty has spots of blood in different areas, the pillow cases was not clean and the bathroom is also used and dirty . The room carpet was in very bad condition (old over used and never been shampoo) our socks turned black after we walked on the carpet , the carpet was really sticky and very dirty . The staff was helpful and the breakfast young lady was also kind and hard worker, the breakfast was very busy of guests during weekend , but she was trying her best to refill the counter with more food and supplies.

My overall stay was a positive one. The only negative was that I requested a specific room due to a recent review of that room stating that it was recently renovated. Upon check-in, the staff member seemed to have some confusion, changing back and forth which room to give me. Ultimately the room I stayed in was not recently renovated, in fact it had to have been many years since, the bathroom ceiling was literally in the process of falling down. In the end I was okay with it, but what is the point of reserving a specific room?

In a room w 2 queen beds it would have been good to have a second mirror. Lighting in the bath room was rather poor. No room cleaning unless u stay 4 days but we were provided clean towels when we went to the front desk. Breakfast was adequate but only bananas for fruit. Waffles and toast were the only warm items. Lighting in the room and hallway was a little dim esp for older people w poorer eyesight

The entire hotel and room smelled strongly like a gas station bathroom sanitizer. The beds were broken down with big divots where springs were gone. It was freezing and when we turned on the heat is it smelled like burning wires on tope of the gas station bathroom sanitizer smell. We opted for freezing.

We arrived about midnight at the hotel due to a massive rain storm which delayed our dangerous and slow drive. We were delighted to be greeted by a friendly and efficient desk representative. We were also delighted that our room reservation requests were honored and reserved for us. Being people with physical challenges always makes overnight lodging more uncertain but the Holland Quality Inn (south) was a great property and location. The bathroom with walk-in shower was both functional and beautiful. Our rooms had both a microwave and a mini fridge/freezer. The AC unit ran smooth and quiet. My only comment would be that the natural progression of thought toward providing total room functionality not only for the physically challenged but also the growing retired population would be applied to the bed height. If a bathroom can be reconfigured, apply to same concepts to the bed. I don't know who thought raising the height of the bed was a good idea but for some of us, it comes close to choosing to sleep in the desk chair because it is so difficult to get into a bed that high. There is, however, an quick and easy solution-cut 4-5 inches off the bed frame which looks to be just an aesthetic element anyway. Loose the excess height and make the bed more accessible rather than having a guest feel as if they have to attempt an ascent on Mt McKinley for a good night's rest. Also the breakfast was nice mix of grab&go and the more traditional sit down breakfast selections.Good coffee.

The blackout curtains were ripped, so the room never got dark during the day or in the morning. I've never stayed at a hotel that had this happen before, it is a very cheap thing that should be fixed before the next person stays here. Around midnight a truck backed up right in front of our room, and we started smelling diesel fumes after the truck ideles for close to 30 minutes, keeping us awake. I've also never seen such blatant disregard for other people's sleep.

When I arrived at the property it was 4am. The front desk attendant said I could pay for my 2 night stay at checkout (Expedia offers a “pay at property” option) which I like to use at low budget properties so I can pay in cash…..when I returned to my room the next day after attending a wedding my key was deactivated. All of my personal belongings were in my room….the manager essentially held my belongings hostage until I paid the full balance. Lmao. What a joke….i ended up paying the room in full no problem. But I find it extremely disrespectful to deactivate my key and demand money. The female manager spoke to me like I didn’t have it. The front desk attendant said I could pay for my 2 night stay at checkout (Expedia offers a “pay at property” option) which I like to use at low budget properties so I can pay in cash…..when I returned to my room the next day after attending a wedding my key was deactivated. All of my personal belongings were in my room….the manager essentially held my belongings hostage until I paid the full balance. Lmao. What a joke….i ended up paying the room in full no problem. But I find it extremely disrespectful to deactivate my key and demand money. The female manager spoke to me like I didn’t have it. I found the hotel itself very run down and in need of some cosmetic updating. The staff during checkin were unsure of the proper procedures and did not seem to know how to handle a booking through expedia. We checked in after 5:00 and our rooms were not ready when they stated that check-in was at 3:00. Housekeeping were not done. Over all we found this hotel to be very dissapointing.

The room appeared clean, however I found multiple bugs in the sheets! The check-in personnel did not know what they were really doing. Check-in process was rough. He didn’t know how to read a driver’s license and did not speak English very well at all. He was also confused and wanted to know why I wanted a different room after finding bugs in the beds.

We had some young kids decide to make a tik tok and bang on our door at 3 am waking my 5 year old, called the front desk and they answered and apologized. The next morning the regional manager contacted me to tell me what happened and informed me that they had been removed from the hotel. They actually cared enough to do something about the disturbance and we were extremely grateful for that.

It started with one woman on the phone to check us in. We waited about 10 mins to get checked in. The room was ok. The TV kept going off. Then there was no TV from Thursday night till around 4 pm Friday. Being we would be visiting family on Friday we told the cleaning lady to clean our room on Saturday. When we arrived back to Quality Inn our room door was left open by the cleaning lady. Right away we notified the front desk. Made reservation months ago. Got to hotel, and they had our room reservation with a king size bed; we needed to sleep 5. I specifically reserved a room with 2 queen beds, and we bring an air mattress for the 5th person. They said they’d see if anyone had checked out they weren’t aware of (at 10pm). They found a room with 2 queen beds on second floor. No elevator. Long story short: we found a live bug (garden beetle) on the one bed upon arrival. We found a mobile house phone on the nightstand upon arrival as well (not the room phone). The air conditioner worked, loudly dripped water, soaking the carpet all around it, and keeping light sleepers awake. We ended up using the ice bucket to catch the water, and dumping it halfway through the night to find it completely full again in the morning. The bathroom door didn’t close completely or lock. We already knew there weren’t any rooms they could switch us into, so we stuck it out for the 2nd night. We prepaid and didn’t have any way to get money back and go somewhere else. We found a garden beetle on the other bed the day we departed as well. Positives: breakfast was decent and hostess was friendly. TV worked. Shower was nice; different settings on shower head. Beds are comfy.

Once I checked in to my room, I have opened the bed sheet and it was dirty has spots of blood in different areas, the pillow cases was not clean and the bathroom is also used and dirty . The room carpet was in very bad condition (old over used and never been shampoo) our socks turned black after we walked on the carpet , the carpet was really sticky and very dirty . The staff was helpful and the breakfast young lady was also kind and hard worker, the breakfast was very busy of guests during weekend , but she was trying her best to refill the counter with more food and supplies.

There was no elevator. The pool area was not clean and the pool was clear but full of bugs and leaves. When in the pool area, I looked up and the gutters along the back of the building had foot high weeds growing out of them. The room was clean but the toilet was loose from the floor and the back of the shower head had a Leah where it screws into the medal piece that comes out of the wall.

The staff was told we was there to check in and replied with it’s ok and still did not come over to check us in. They do require a deposit for if anything happens like most places. It’s been almost a week and we still have not got it back. We left the room clean with no extra trash or nothing broke so we should get it back. So we will see if we have to call about the 100$ deposit. The staff was short with you and I watch him check in other people and still be short and rude with them along with us so it was not just with us. Do not recommend to stay at this one with the staff issues and the comfort of the rooms. The one good thing is they are updating the rooms so that is a help but the staff does not vacuum the floors . We found all kids of trash on the floor and picked up plastic chunks off the floor from other guest in the room ware the floors were not swept.
