Motel 6 Medford, OR - North

I had a rental truck that I meeded to return the in the morning, plus make a stop at Lowe's, Costco, and the airport. Parking for the truck was easy, and the motel was conveniently located for all my stops. Nice and friendly staff. Very clean and comfortable. Excellent value. Would definitely stay again.

Pool looked very dirty. The carpet outside our room smelled of urine. There were brown streaks on the bathroom wall that I was not inclined to question or clean. Property in ill repair. But...it was cheap and the AC worked great!

Two big ice machines work great and fast. (the last time I stayed here, both were broken). Excellent staff, friendly.

The pool water is extremely cloudy, merkey, discolored & there are large black spots/areas on the bottom of the pool. Very u sanitary. When we asked for clean towels we got pool side towels

Thay don't allow trailer parking. You have to walk a ways to the hotel if you have a trailer

I had a very nice stay. Quiet, clean - not spectacularly perfect, but hygienicly clean and neat. Staff were friendly and helpful. Other guests were friendly as well, but not intrusive. I used the laundry facility - very handy to have that while traveling a bunch nicely stocked vending machines with a microwave in the laundry room as well.

The POOL is covered 100% in layers of mud. Closed and unusable. Pictures of the room clearly shows a mini fridge and microwave. NEITHER are provided. Website says 60 a night, even through Expedia I was charged $90 per night- with the discount. If you walk up it’s $111. You have to walk up 2 flights of stairs- even to get ice. They locked the ENTIRE second floor out of our paid rooms- we all had to go down and up 2 flights of stairs yet again to get our cards reset. When you check in the front desk doesn’t tell you you have to have the code- most hotels connect within the rooms- so back climbing 2 flights of stairs. The property itself is filthy, rusty and unkept. For what they charge for literally Just a bed to fall asleep you can go next door and have an amazing experience with amenities. If I could rate it a zero I would. We checked out 2 hours into our second day and were not refunded anything.

Had a park for the dogs.

I ended up not staying here. As soon as I entered the room. It smelled like pee. It looked clean, but it was a horrible smell. I immediately told the person in charge and she went in to smell the room. She then called her boss who said we should get the other room next to it. And that room smelled like cigarette. It was supposed to be a non smoking room. Overall all don't waist your time and money here.

My experience at this hotel was the worst I've ever had. The rooms were dirty, the bathroom had stains and a bad smell, there were flies in the room, the drawers were stained, the walls were dirty, and the floor was full of hair. Honestly, it was disgusting, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Cleanliness is the most basic expectation, and this hotel doesn’t even meet that.

Check in clerk was rude. There was a broken drawer in the room, room smells, and I walked barefoot on the floor for about 1/2 hour and my feet were black. Person in room next to us knocked on the door and asked if we snort drugs.

Toilet was really dirty with black grimes on it. The light on the toilet was also not working. The towels were really rough and need replacement. The bed sheets and linens are dark white already and need replacement. I am not asking too much for the price you pay on this hotel, but at the minimum, it should be clean and there is no excuse about it. I will never book again. Better spend a bit more extra on another hotel.

Parking was great. Room was ok .. floor was not cleaned well. Bed was low ( handicapped) and quite soft. Bed sheets and blanket were old.

We requested additional pillows and was informed by a staff member that she was the only one on but her co-worker would be in and she would bring the pillows. About 45 minutes later we get a call to our room stating they have no more pillows in the hotel.... Super odd... The beds are also worst thing I have slept on in a while. I am not terribly picky and can sleep in most places. I've never woke up with back pain before and I did here. Can't say we will be back.

Staff was fine. Nothing but bar soap and towels in the room. (No coffee, fridge, microwave, shampoo) Complentary coffee in the lobby seemed to be served with 4 oz cups. On arrival they had a mental health episode from a person in their lobby and haf many cops show up to deal with that. Not motel 6s fault.

Rooms are very noisy. Can hear toilet flushing and anyone walking next door or above stairs. Lots of noise from parking lot. Bed was uncomfortable. All round a difficult night stay.

Room smelled of smoke and the tile in the shower was very stained and gross.

Room was clean, only complaint was the bed was super loud and creaky and would wake us up when either of us moved.

Acceptable accommodations for a night or two. Minimal amenities in the room. Bring your own shampoo and facial tissues.

Wifi is good, ac is good. But no fridge, no microwave in room

Room smelled like smoke. Floor not swept. Desk person came & sprayed & cleaned while we waited. Basics only (no hair dryer, thin towels, no frig nor microwave, (website did note that, but for the price, we’d think there should be.) Quite noisy throughout night.

The wifi dropped every few minutes, i couldn't connect to do my work and have yet to be able to finish an email. Will ve last night if i can't receive some kind of compensation for me losing money during my stay. I need the internet and it is advertised as wifi in every room.

Air conditioner didnt work. No microwave for some unknown reason.

They over booked. I booked hotel one week ago and when i reached the motel, they said *no room available, they overbooked* Terrible service

I was greeted by an amazing staff. They were very accommodating and understanding about my limitations and they worked with me. The room was clean, neat, and in good order. The morning after they served coffee in the lobby and it was really good. When it was time for me to check out, again the next person on staff that I deal with was kind and accommodating. All in all I had a wonderful visit and I would gladly stay here again if given the opportunity

Since it was winter, I didn't use the A/C, but the heater worked great. The room was clean and the staff was excellent, couldn't ask for better. My only suggestion it perhaps you could put tissues in the room. I would definitely stay here again.

Our attempt at checking in met with rudeness and no welcoming whatsoever. Even though we prepaid the room, based on the encounter at check in, we did not stay and elected to go elsewhere. There is a Ramada Inn nearby; stay there!

My dad and I booked TWO rooms with two queen beds for our family, paid through Expedia, but at check-in, we were only given ONE room. We realized the mistake within a minute, returned to the front desk, and informed the staff. There was no apology, no acknowledgment of the error. Instead, the staff told us to wait until she was done with other customers, despite just having helped us seconds earlier. After 10–15 minutes, she claimed, “There are only two of you, one room is enough.” We had to explain that the second room was for my mom and dad, and I was in a separate room. She then made us go back to the car to get my mom’s ID — adding more stress after we had just driven 740 miles. When I asked if there was a glitch in their system that missed the second room, she dismissed the question and blamed us, saying we didn’t “need” two rooms. To make matters worse, the area felt unsafe. There were sketchy groups loitering near the rooms, watching us bring our luggage upstairs, rubbing their arms and pacing. As someone trained in addiction medicine and law, the behavior was concerning and suggested possible substance use. The room itself was average, as expected for this location, and that’s not our issue — we’re not picky. But the lack of professionalism, poor communication, and unsafe environment made this a frustrating and uncomfortable stay. We won’t be returning.

I didn't stay because you denied me my room that I paid for in advance. I was told I needed an ID to check in.... I had traveled from brookings to your motel in medford but I lost my ID somewhere on the drive along with many other important cards and etc. Now since I couldn't stay there your telling me your keeping the money I paid for services that i never got. I dont think so... I'm a disabled senior who was there for life altering doctor appointments. And you are so callus to rip me off. I want a refund or I will sue the crap out of you

Easy and convenient. Close to food and shopping.

The staff are very service minded. Great you engaging and are polite. The property is not a five star but is clean, pillows and beds are comfortable. clean linens and shower has good water pressures. Personally I don’t mind that there isn’t a refrigerator running all night in the room. No need for a minimalist coffee pot with inferior coffee packets in the room either. The complimentary coffee in the lounge is good and hot. Conveniently located by dining options. If you need a place to lay your head, this is it. Serves basic needs

It was close to the airport. There was no amenities in the room. No coffee, no mini-fridge, no microwave. Reservation for non-smoking room was almost not honored. It felt more like a criminal neighborhood the way everything was locked down. The few extra dollars would be better spent elsewhere.
