Entry door card failed us twice they replaced it the first time the second time we just had to do it about 10times before it worked. It was difficult lugging suitcases up to the second floor. There was no elevator.

Fairly newly renovated. One block from puget sound bay. The Breakfast was very limited because it was continental. Planes would go over frequently but you never heard them in the inn. Convenient small grocery store across the street. The inn had it's own free private parking. Very little traffic. Staff was great. Great value and budget minded so don't expect high quality sheets and towels. They had one coin washer and dryer for laundry. 2 story building with no elevator so if stairs are an issue you need to request a 1st floor room. Only one luggage cart dolly available. Overall we would stay there again.

Nice little place, very pleasant staff. Only drawback was that you could not drink the water or put the ice into drinks. You had to use bottled water, which was provided. And the first night there I don't think anyone explained that; they just said there's some bottled water for you! Not sure what's going on with their water, but worth knowing. We didn't find it a terrible inconvenience but we're a little concerned that they never told us ahead of time. It is very clean, and we stayed in two different rooms on our way to and from the airport, and both rooms were remodeled with great king beds. Towels are quite thin and small. Breakfast was nothing to write home about. You can make your own waffles but the syrup isn't very good, there is no cereal, and the coffee is pretty bad, blah bagels, plastic wrapped danish. On the plus side you could get a piece(s) of fresh fruit every morning (banana or an orange), and there were small yogurts, oj was ok. But the price is absolutely right, and it's super quiet, and very convenient to the airport. We stayed there on both legs of our trip, and would stay again. Here's hoping their water issue gets fixed!

No one at the front desk on multiple occasions. No elevator- had to drag heavy suitcases up a flight of stairs. Room was clean, AC worked well, close proximity to airport.

The bed was hard as rock… the floor was really dirty, you would need to wear sandals to walk around in the room, otherwise, you have black feet… it’s gross. The facility was in somewhat like a beat down stage… not as good as what other people reviewed. The towels were super thin and small too… hair was on towels and bed. Make sure to check the towels… some blood on some towels too on the first day we went in … anyways not staying there again …

Our room reeked of some kind of chemical cleaner. For the value, the hotel was great. The location is safe and quiet. Prefer this over SeaTac!

The floor was so sticky and duty our clean bare feet was became black and dirty after walking on them. Sheets were clean, bed was fairly comfortable, but the pillows were very comfortable. Towels were clean and abundant. Refrigerator froze everything. Hair dryer did not work but they gave us another one. Very small bathroom. Remodeled older hotel.

Bed was just OK, the pillows were terrible. Completely inflexible. The room was quite shabby. The hallways were noisy. The breakfast was very unremarkable continental breakfast. The restaurants nearby were fantastic and it’s a short walk to the water. It was adequate for what we wanted, but Not a comfortable place, particularly.

This room was the largest of our 10 nights on vacation. We loved having this extra space because we were preparing to fly the next day. I liked the various lighting options in the room and the separate counter with extra sink for food and beverage prep! Two blocks from the Pugent Sound with overlooks that was nice to walk to. Biggest disappointment was the breakfast, which was minimal with a bunch of carbs and yogurt cups and no one really staffing it. Fortunately we had food to eat in our room. Staff wasn't the most friendly of the 3 ppl we saw. If you get a room on the 2nd floor, there is no elevator.

This hotel is pretty basic but clean and fine for the price. The room was big, the bed comfortable, water temp and pressure were good, climate control was good, windows open if you want fresh air. Small kitchenette area (separate from bathroom) includes small fridge. Good desk area. My room was very quiet. Breakfast was minimal but tolerable. The shampoo could be better. My favorite part was the neighborhood was quiet and great for walking. Nearby, there is a marina, pier, park, public beach access and paved trail through the woods. Great for walking, jogging. Gorgeous views from the pier/beach.

This hotel was overpriced for the experience we had. We paid $130 for the night and expected a basic hotel experience. what we got was a bottom of the barrel experience. The hotel rooms are heavily dosed with a very strong perfume or cleaning product or something. It was so strong that it woke me up several times at night when i shifted just enough to get a stronger whiff of the strong fragrance. The rooms have zero noise cancellation. We could hear footsteps walking down the hall from the lobby all the way to our room. we were located ... 50-100 yards from the lobby. We heard everything at all times in our room from any noise anywhere in the hotel. The beds were poor quality. I could feel all of the springs in the bed. I am 5.10 at 170lbs. Our stay should have been in the $60/night price range for the experience we had.

This plae was relatively cheap but certainly not cheerful and I wouldn't return. The coffee machine in the room still had a used coffee bag in it and when I tried to make a coffee I just got light brown water (possible an error on my part). The wifi didn't stretch too Room 119 which was irritating as I then had to get dressed agan to go down to reception to get wifi signal so I could check in for my flight. The breakfast offering was poor, we even had our own tea, cereal and milk but there were no bowls (we did ask). Wasn't expecting luxury and I expected it to be dated but this wasn't good and slightly depressing.

Exceptionally clean and very comfortable bed. Otherwise very much a budget hotel, nothing luxurious. Our only complaint was the overly scented cleaning materials they used. We had to air out the room. Good news, the windows open.

The staff at checkin wasn’t straight rude but definitely not friendly. The overall appearance looked of remodel not quite done right, tape on the floor, patches showing and painted over, etc. And the cameras everywhere made it feel like it was not a good part of town, which the beachfront area of Des Moines is definitely not a bad area. And the bed…I think I would have rather slept on a cot. For the amount of good reviews this place has gotten, very disappointing

Coffee -was- available early as part of the continental breakfast, but who wants to stumble down the hall first thing in the morning. My terrible experience starts from the check-in. The lady at the front desk was like, why I'm there at 11 pm. She didn't want to answer any questions I have about the property amenities. I asked her that do you have any drinking water here or a vending machine. And she said you can check over there by the breakfast station but I don’t know. How do you not know? You work there. She was very rude and showed me an attitude for asking questions. I found the vending machine and I put money in it. But everything was sold out. It won't give me my money back either. If everything is sold out then why didn't you put a sign there or just turn it off. There were long hair on my bed sheets and even on the towels. They were dirty. It was a terrible experience staying at this hotel.

Everything good, but I was arriving after midnight so I tried to contact the day before as instructed on the site. No one answered the phone after three calls, then was able to leave voicemail. No response. I wrote email, no response. So I arrived not knowing if I would have a room or not! Not good!

Continental breakfast was ok-waffle maker, yogurt and some off brand cinnamon rolls in packaging. Room itself was average. As for staff, that's what was the worst. We waited over 20 minutes to get checked in because no one was up at the desk. The front desk guy then showed up out of what looked to be a guest room right above the lobby and saw several of us standing there and never apologized to any of us. He was very rude. He never gave us details for Wi-Fi or took our vehicle info either. The lady the next morning was better but not by much. I would recommend here as a last resort motel option

Excellent customer service! Misty is incredible, she put so much extra effort in providing exceptional customer service. I advised her of my likely late check in which turned out to be even later owing to weather delays of my Denver flight. She was right there waiting for me at 1 am. She and her staff had a nice breakfast waiting for me the very next morning. Such nice people….

At check in the front desk guy needs to get rid of the headphones so he hears what is said. Original key card didn't work and had to go back to get another. At 10 am house keeping started vacuuming in the hallway. Then she came in the room before check out time without knocking first, no idea what she said because I don't know Spanish

Drove up from Portland with a rental car and stayed at the property overnight due to an early flight. Room is large and although somewhat dated, more than adequate and very clean. The bed was very comfortable for sure. The Inn is located in a nice area with good walking potential. It is near the Marina and many restaurants. Will stay at the Marina Inn next time.

It’s great for the price and super close to the water. A little bit sketchy but not terrible. Would probably stay again tbh. Mostly clean and the continental breakfast actually had waffles (most have shifted over to just cereals and stale bread so that was a pleasant surprise)

Good hotel close to airport and quick drive to Seattle. Clean hotel, lobby remodeled but rooms could use up date. Beach a few blocks away. Continental breakfast no real protein just cook your own waffles and yogurt. Fine place to rest your head nothing fancy.

The breakfast had a good amount of variety, the area was quiet for sleeping, and the lady working the lobby was very friendly! If I had any sort of criticism I would say their cleaning products were a little too fragrant, and maybe put different kinds of pillows on the bed? They were a little too puffy/firm for me and my husband. Otherwise, definitely one of the better places we’ve stayed in the area and will likely return.

The Marina is located in a good place, and you can’t beat the price. Both the room and bathroom were clean and the bed was good. Know that this is not a luxury stay—furniture and decor are worn, BUT the price and location are a draw. We walked to the marina and area coffee shops and restaurants. We slept well. Avoided breakfast-very few tables and even fewer options of just waffles, yogurt and sweet danish. Would stay here again, but I don’t need luxury.

We stayed one night here before we caught a flight out of Seatac. The convenience of checking in via the cell phone and getting our door code in an email, made this a very simple process. The room was a bit oddly shaped, and the shower could have used an update since the coating was peeling, but it was clean.
