Petaling Jaya Marriott Hotel

When we check in the hotel is under renovation. The room is very clean and nice, the staying was pleasant. Location is perfect because it has a MRT station Phileo Damansara in a walking distance. Nearby also has a 7-11 convenient store. Overall, the services are nice and room are clean and spacious.

The hotel was under renovation so it was super messy. The room was old and bedsheets and towels were stained. Shower didn’t provide hot water and drilling still took place at 9pm. Horrifying! Do not book this hotel. It’s really bad. I want to request for a refund seriously.

The hotel was going through a renovation and was very noisy. The air con in the Gym was never switched on and it was very hot. The breakfast was good and the restaurant meals were really nice. The staff were helpful.

1. I requested for King sized bed. The hotel only has 2 single bed room. What’s the point for myself, 1 single guy, to use 2 single beds? They reluctant to upgrade my room or compensate anything. 2. The staff knocked my room few times saying I ordered food. They didn’t call me. I suspect there’s something criminal and this I didn’t open the door. 3. Air-conditioning is bad. There’s no indicator what’s the room temperature. I felt so hot in the room. 4. The TV system is complicated and no instruction how to switch it on. 5. The bathtub is super slippery. No map is placed inside the bathtub for safety of hotel guests. 6. No shower gel or shampoo at bathtub area. 7. The receptionists are inexperienced and fail to handled scenarios like what happening at #1. Also, these guys never learn how to smile.
