Everyone who worked here was friendly, SUPER CLEAN, rooms were nice and big and clean. Not far from istaklal avenue. Staff were helpful. Definitely a great hotel.

Loved my stay at this hotel. The employees were so accomodating and willing to help. The room was clean and cozy. Good location with lots of shops and restaurant options nearby.

5/5 stars. Amazing experience. Have 0 complaints. Gorgeous, modern hotel. Perfectly clean. Had an amazing experience and felt very at home and comfortable in the hotel room. The buffet breakfast is to die for and the staff is incredible...especially the front-desk person Sinan. He is the nicest and most helpful person ever. He makes your experience unmatched! Quiet area near the Italian consulate, easy to walk anywhere.

Have stayed at TomTom many times. Service, cleanliness and service consistently wonderful. Some things to be aware of is that the property is within the Italian consulate’s perimeter, such that after business hours, taxis won’t be able to drop you off or pick you up from the TomTom entrance due to the Italian Consulate refusing to lower the barricade. The hotel tries to mitigate this by being very willing to come get luggage and bring it past the barricade but people with mobility issues will need to time arrival and departures during times that the security barricade is down.

Mr. Nurol was incredibly kind and caring. When I wasn’t feeling well, he treated me with such warmth and understanding — I’m truly grateful for his support. The hotel was spotless, the room was spacious, and the bathroom even had a jacuzzi. The location was perfect, just steps away from Taksim Square. I’m already planning to come back next summer!

Loved the property, would go back, very modern and renovated however, we had a mild sewage smell problem in our room that was not pleasant to come to. Also our room was close to the restaurant on the 4 the floor and it was a bit loud until 11 pm. Very spacious and breakfast area very elegant and superb view.walking distance to many touristy destinations, but very hilly, a lot of up and down and climbing stairs.

We travel to Turkey 3 or 4 times a year for business and we always look forward to spending the last 2 or 3 days of the trip in Istanbul. We have tried numerous hotels in different areas of the city but the Tom Tom Suites is by far our favorite location and hotel. Its close enough to the tourist spots that we can easily walk or take the tram if we want to do something touristy. If we want to avoid the tourist crowded areas, it is also perfect. The hotel staff is top notch from check in to check out. The Michelin star restaurant, Nicole located on the top floor is not to be missed. The breakfast is served in the same restaurant by the same staff and cooks and is hard to beat. The rooms are super spacious and super clean. I really cant say enough good stuff about this hotel. I will be going back as often as i can.

We loved the Tom Tom! Beautiful boutique hotel in a very walkable part of town. Excellent and helpful staff, tasty breakfast with great view of the city and harbor. Comfortable beds, large bathrooms with Molten Brown toiletries. An overall a wonderful experience. Highly recommend!

Large and comfortable rooms. Excellent breakfast. Top class service, from the front desk to the restaurant. Very quiet (private) street, yet at a 5 minutes walk from everything.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and could not recommend it more. The rooms are beautifully designed. The staff is charming/helpful. Wonderful breakfast with spectacular views. Walkable neighborhood with great restaurants and shopping, and convenient access to other areas of the city via transit.

We absolutely loved Tomtom Suites. The hotel is beautiful. Our room was beautiful. It's in a busy happening area, but the location within the neighborhood is quite and peaceful. The staff was wonderful. I can't say enough about how marvelous our experience was!

On arrival we were warmly greeted and told we had been given a complimentary room upgrade. This put us in a superior room on the 3rd floor. Our room was enormous! High ceilings, huge windows and every practical aspect catered for. Bathroom was especially luxurious with giant bath tub, separate shower & Molten Brown toiletries as standard. Everything was extremely comfortable - the bed, pillows, towels that were a fantastic size and great at drying etc. Turn down service at night topped up water and included a chocolate for each of us. Whilst we were staying the restaurant was under renovation. This meant breakfast was served in room which the hotel proactively told us about in advance. What they served was generous but perhaps lacking in variety for a 5 night stay. On our first full day we came back to the room around 4-5pm for a quick rest. However with being immediately below the restaurant, we had constant drilling sound that was extremely loud. I mentioned to reception that evening that it was more disruptive than we'd expect and they were very apologetic. As way of apology they left us wine and fruit in our room. A lovely gesture which shows their levels of customer care. We didn't experience the same levels of noise after that. Hotel is on a quiet street. There is a school but we hardly heard anything from it. Thoroughly loved this hotel, including the location. Would happily return.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The TomTom Suites. From check in to breakfast to room service, the staff were gracious and welcoming. Our suite was spacious and the furnishings and amenities were of excellent quality. It has an interesting history, a unique style, and is a wonderful respite from the busy city.

Beautiful large room in a lovely historic building. So close to everything yet very quiet. The included breakfast upstairs in the Michelin restaurant was amazing and had beautiful views of the Bosphorous and over old town. Staff very friendly and passionate about their city and country!

Lovely hotel. Excellent breakfast! Even the quality of sandwiches in our breakfast box to take away was exceptional. I think this will be my permanent stay place in Istanbul - a city really exceptional and like any other. We were hoping to try the Michelin restaurant but had already tried the Nuseirat one night so felt a bit extravagant to have another top rated meal in the space of a few day's. The hotel is very nicely located and the restaurant recommendations by Etiler were great. The only sting was the taxi to the airport arranged by the reception guy (not Etiler) where he told the taxi driver to cap ours fare to 1800 TL. The taxi guy then charged us this amount despite the metered fare only being 1200 TL. It was a faster ride so not as expensive as peak time. But the taxi driver made up some rubbish about toll charges. They shouldn't have been 600 TL though. So we were taken for a ride! We weren't savvy enough at the time to calculate and push back more (airport stress and all that). It's a shame about that experience. Nobody likes to be made a fool. Other than that, a truly exceptional stay and as for the sting, once bitten, twice shy. I'd be delighted to stay here again.

Friendly staff. Air con works well. Strong shower with good drainage. Quiet and fast elevator. Comfortable bedding. Soft and absorbent towels. Plenty of local specialties for breakfast. Warning: very very steep climb via an smelly alley to the Main Street in one direction and broken sidewalk the other direction. I give a “1” star because the private tour guide the hotel recommended at few hundred Euro a day is a scam. Without going into much detail about his lack of forthcoming info. It’s so upsetting the guide together with few shop owners try to strong arm and relentlessly pressure us to buy things when i repeatedly said no. I have experienced this tactics in few other countries, It’s part of their culture and ways, I understand. Although I don’t believe the private guides are employees of the hotel, but when it’s highly recommended and fees were added to the hotel bill, to me, it’s part of the hotel. it is unbecoming of the management at TomTom not to protect us, their hotel guests from unwanted solicitations and substandard guides.

Galata tower and Karakoy for ferries is also easily walkable. Tram station is 5 min walk. Breakfast is amazing and so is the waiting staff. Very friendly and helpful. Would recommend the hotel. Will visit again.

Outstanding Service

The staff at the hotel were very friendly. We arrived at the airport early on the first day and arrived at the hotel very early in the morning before check-in time and they were considerate for us to take a shower in an empty room and we were also served breakfast. During our stay at the hotel, the service of the staff was very friendly. The size of the room was large enough and the cleaning condition was good. The restaurant had a great view and the breakfast was very delicious. The dinner was really satisfying to taste the amazing Michelin-grade food. Everything was a satisfying schedule. If I go to Istanbul again, I would like to stay at Tomtom Suites again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The TomTom Suites. From check in to breakfast to room service, the staff were gracious and welcoming. Excellent stay at Tomtom Suites with exceptional service level from staff. First during check in the manager noticed my original room had a small issue so he upgraded me to another larger room with a beautiful view over the city. He also spent time with me providing tips on sights to see around the neighborhood. Second, I had a very early flight so the staff insisted that they bring breakfast to my room at 4:00 a.m. This was a very nice touch and much appreciated especially so early in the morning. The staff were also very helpful in arranging a ride back to IST airport. Even though I was on a business trip with a quick layover in Istanbul, they made me feel like I was staying with friends and family.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Great room and amenities. We stayed in a suite which was beautifully decorated. The view from the restaurant where breakfast is served is amazing. I love the location with extremely easy access to the ferries, tram and subway. Very cute and hip neighborhoods are nearby within walking distance (Cukurcuma, Karaköy, Galata etc). Many thanks to Sinan Bey at the reception and to the two main servers at the breakfast restaurant.

O Hotel fica em um prédio muito bonito, em frente à embaixada da Itália. O restaurante do Hotel tem uma estrela Michelin e é uma atração ã parte. O quarto que ficamos era excelente, muito amplo e com travesseiros incríveis. Um ponto que merece atenção é que a rua do hotel é fechada para carros. Se você vai de carro é impossível chegar perto do hotel e mais impossível ainda estacionar. O Hotel fica bem no centro de Istambul, onde o movimento de pessoas é muito grande.

Quiet and centrally located with easy access to the Tram. The Sishane metro station is within walking distance but it’s a significant hill to go down and climb. If you have luggage, It’s better to get off in the Taksim station and take a taxi to the hotel for 100 Lira or less. Breakfast was delicious and we loved the view from the Terrace. Room was very comfortable with the only complaint being the pillows were a bit lumpy. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Have already recommended this hotel to two friends who are traveling to Istanbul in the near future.

Tomtom suites was a unique find and we absolutely loved our stay there. Based in a cute little town called Beyoglu it was a stones throw away from some of the major tourst attractions like Galata Tower and Isteqlal Street; we would just step out of the hotel to explore the town and absolutely loved the experience. The building was an old nunnery and lot of thought was put into the decor / ambiance which added to the overall charm. The staff was extremely curteous and went an extra mile to facilitate the customers. The hotel had a Michelin Star restaurant serving delicious food, if you happen to be there please dont forget to make reservations for dinner. Breakfast and evening tea were complementary and we looked forward to it each day. The staff was extremely friendly and made it a point to remember our preferences to serve us better. Hope you get meet Gursoy Ersan at the front office, hes the bsst!

Great hotel but access is a problem…somebody should tell you that you cannot access the street

A quiet refuge in the busy city with staff who went above and beyond & a delicious breakfast.

Rooms and staff are excellent. No AC in room although they explained their AC is central and doesn’t work between seasons according to them. Staff was very nice and lent us a fan. Location is perfect near Istiklal although it is a steep climb from hotel location. Breakfast was limited to a fixed selection of small dishes and choice of eggs.

El servicio en el desayuno, el personal es muy amable, y dedicado. Pero es limitado a una serie de platos que te dan y que la mayoria no consumes. En cuando a la facilidad para llegar, tuvimos muy buena comunicacion con el hotel en indicar que llegabamos en un vuelo a las 12:30am, estaban anuentes, sin embargo, no indicaron que la calle esta cerrada por seguridad, y no nos dieron la posibilidad de avisar para que el taxi pudiese entrar, nos toco bajo la lluvia llevar nuestro equipaje bastante pesado, 250 metros bajo la lluvia.

A beautiful boutique hotel in a private yet convenient location. Close to everything Istanbul has to offer. An exceptional renovation of an historic structure with staff and Michelin star restaurant Nicole to match. Outstanding in all regards.
