Nice resort, very golf oriented (we don't play) but that doesn't matter tons. They need to enforce an EV only rule at the chargers because it was full up one night with 2/5 spots taken by gas cars. Also, the suites should have some basic dishes.

The deck was very slippery it rained lastnight ans this morning, and as i was walking on the wooden deck going in the reception area i slipped and fell on ny knees I made front desk staff aware and they said oh sorry are you okay? This should be adressed ASAP. Before somebody gets seriously hurt.

We booked this property mainly for the amenities available at the hotel and area. We don’t golf so that wasn’t an attraction for us. While there are ebikes available for rental and kayaking nearby, we couldn’t fit this into our stay! The hot tub and sauna were out of service and have been for some time based on the look of it but staff gladly provided the hours of these amenities upon check-in. No mention that these things were not available. Overall, the staff did not seem to know much about the local area. The rooms are dated but had comfortable beds, a decent sized fridge and microwave. We would have appreciated either better room coffee or a coffee shop on site. We couldn’t get anything more than drip coffee anywhere on this property and the room coffee was not good. The hotel is hard to navigate with luggage (multiple buildings, doors, boardwalks and stairs). We really enjoyed the pool area. We liked that there was a pool bar with a lovely staff member who was personable and attentive. They have slushie drinks, shaved ice, and ice cream in addition to a wide variety of alcoholic drinks. The pool is very clean, warm and a decent size with many seating options. We ate lunch at Club 19 and breakfast at Stillwater. Food and service was excellent at both restaurants and prices were reasonable. Overall, we enjoyed our stay with highlights being the pool and restaurants. I don’t know if we’d return based on the room condition and price.

Our second time here. Love the king bed with pull out sofa suites. Balcony is a nice for chilling. Excellent outdoor heated pool with water views. Onsite horseback riding (which we did) and kayaking are nice adds if you have kids. We aren’t golfers but chose to stay here because of the quality of the suites, indoor & outdoor pools, onsite activities & proximity to both Panmure & Basinhead beaches. Recommend.

We had a great stay here. We loved the Club 19 restaurant which served the best seafood chowder. We also enjoyed the pickleball and bocce options for activities on the property. Lovely view of the river, and very nice hotel.

Great property. Played golf 2x and loved the courses. Only problem was the mosquitoes and sand flies that swarmed you whenever you went outside. Hard to enjoy the pool and facilities if you are constantly being attacked by mosquitoes.

Our cottage wasnt very clean. It had an ant problem, lots throughout the cottage. No propane for the bbq and they couldnt find another propane tank to replace our empty one.

July 2025 - we stayed here for one night in our travels of the East Coast. It was convenient to stay here, but it was very expensive for one night. The beds were comfortable, rooms were nice and clean (as expected). The indoor pool and hot tub were clean as well - it was a nice space. We didn't take advantage of the other amenities and area, but it was an impressive resort.

Worst stay I ever experienced. Room was just beside the reception and I could hear every time that the phone rang and reception conversation during sleeping hours and terrible noise from corridor when people were passing. Uncomfortable pillows. Old bathroom and there was a problem with bathtub drainage and the water did not keep going and I took a shower in a pond. Small and cold pool. Dirty and COLD hot tub!

Very nice location. The room is showing its age and was not cleaned very well with hair from previous guests and mildew left in the bathroom. The restaurant on site had terrible service as we had to wait 15 minutes to get a menu and another 30 minutes for breakfast to arrive even though there were only six other parties in the dinning room. I would not stay here again.

This was an amazing place to stay. The only issue was the bathroom shower. Very, very old tub and shower head. Other than that, the staff, property and experience was wonderful.

Nice place to stay reasonably priced great amenities. Down side is the walls are super thin and you can hear conversations and people’s alarm clocks wake you up. Bed is pretty comfy, like that they don’t use cheap TP. Would recommend this place.

Nice Bed, Nice toilet paper, nice staff, grounds, pool, hot tub. Paper thin walls neighbors woke us up with their alarm clock going off every 10 minutes for an hour. Food was great in the downstairs dinning room and Kathleen our server was a delight!

Staff were great. Room was clean. Only real issue is they have cottages that are made up of 4 connected units(with an option to rent the whole cottage or separate units). The noise bleed between the units is brutal. From hearing every footstep to even just normal speaking voices clearly as if they were in my room. A party next door was too loud for me to even drown out with the TV. I made a call to the front desk at 12:15 am. By 1230am they had shut the party down. Which was appreciated, but as mentioned even minimal noises were coming through. Unfortunately the neighbours woke up early, so not much sleep that night. I would suggest to avoid booking a single room in the cottages. Great if you are renting the whole building with a group. Otherwise I'd book into the main building(more of a hotel vibe)

The room was clean and the bed was satisfactory. The bathroom was not as clean and the small soap fell through the sink because of no stopper. Unusual rules for the laundry facilities which led to staff locking the door with my clothes still in the machine. I had to explain my situation to the evening clerk at least four times before he gave me the key to unlock the door. He was less than courteous dealing with me. The overnight and morning clerks were much friendlier.

The staff was actually great, very friendly and helpful. The two on-site restaurants were terrible, extremely long to get food and was cold and over cooked. On meal we weren’t charged because we couldn’t eat it, we decided to drive the 15 mins to town for the rest of our meals. The waitress told us they don’t have enough staff to handle a full hotel and they couldn’t keep up. Other small issues like we wanted to sit out on the deck around the deck heaters one evening and only one worked because they didn’t have enough propane. On meal we weren’t charged because we couldn’t eat it, we decided to drive the 15 mins to town for the rest of our meals. The waitress told us they don’t have enough staff to handle a full hotel and they couldn’t keep up. Other small issues like we wanted to sit out on the deck around the deck heaters one evening and only one worked because they didn’t have enough propane. This is our second summer staying at Brudenell where my spouse likes to golf. It’s a lovely property, but I believe there are staffing issues. Both this year and last, one of the three restaurants was closed. This year and last, dining service was incredibly slow. In one case, only one server was working. We needed a toilet plunger and called the front desk; no one came as promised or called us back. The sound- 0roofing in the cottages is poor; you can easily hear others’ conversations. It’s a lovely property, no doubt but I feel these issues need some attention.

Staff were great. Room was clean. Only real issue is they have cottages that are made up of 4 connected units(with an option to rent the whole cottage or separate units). The noise bleed between the units is brutal. From hearing every footstep to even just normal speaking voices clearly as if they were in my room. A party next door was too loud for me to even drown out with the TV. I made a call to the front desk at 12:15 am. By 1230am they had shut the party down. Which was appreciated, but as mentioned even minimal noises were coming through. Unfortunately the neighbours woke up early, so not much sleep that night. I would suggest to avoid booking a single room in the cottages. Great if you are renting the whole building with a group. Otherwise I'd book into the main building(more of a hotel vibe)

This was a 160 dollar mistake and free breakfast was unacceptable. Not to mention traveling with three children there was a lot of planning involved based around our room decision. Thankfully at shift change the staff was far more helpful and client oriented than the lady who checked me in Sept 13th.

This is an absolutely beautiful place to stay. Extremely clean and well maintained. Located right in Prince Edward Island National Park with close access to a beach and a pool overlooking the water. The only issue was checking in was a bit of a mess as the staff had had some difficulty with technology (computer) but when another staff assisted, it went smoother. Would 100% stay again!

Our stay here was amazing! We booked this for our honeymoon and everyone was amazing. Upon check in, they upgraded our room for free, and had someone like race to the room to leave us a little note to welcome us and congratulate us on being newly weds. Everyone was so helpful and sweet, the room was always cleaned and so was the property. There is literally SOO much to do for activities and its close to many trails and such. It was quiet and peaceful and just overall we had such a great time! We will definitely come back again :)

This was a surprise visit; we planned on camping but the weather looked rainy, so we checked in for 2 nights. Beautiful location, 2 restaurants and a bar with live music; indoor and outdoor heated pools. We don't golf, but the course looks very well maintained.

Our second time here. Love the king bed with pull out sofa suites. Balcony is a nice for chilling. Excellent outdoor heated pool with water views. Onsite horseback riding (which we did) and kayaking are nice adds if you have kids. We aren’t golfers but chose to stay here because of the quality of the suites, indoor & outdoor pools, onsite activities & proximity to both Panmure & Basinhead beaches. Recommend.

The pool area could have been cleaner and there was sand at the bottom of the hot tub. It was a bit inconvenient to have to walk over to the dining room in another building. The food in the dining room was excellent and reasonably priced.

Very nice location. The room is showing its age and was not cleaned very well with hair from previous guests and mildew left in the bathroom. The restaurant on site had terrible service as we had to wait 15 minutes to get a menu and another 30 minutes for breakfast to arrive even though there were only six other parties in the dinning room. I would not stay here again.

The hotel is fine, but not fantastic. It’s dated (think 1990s) and needs an update. The room was comfortable with a lovely view of the water. The hotel restaurant had very little for people with dietary restrictions (gluten free) and the server was not very knowledgeable. Overall, it was fine for a couple of nights, but I wouldn’t want to stay longer than that.

We had a great stay here. We loved the Club 19 restaurant which served the best seafood chowder. We also enjoyed the pickleball and bocce options for activities on the property. Lovely view of the river, and very nice hotel.
