From the moment we parked the car in secured lock up garage the experience was amazing. We felt like we had stepped back in time to the old days when service meant everything. The Guy on reception (unfortunately I didn’t get his name) had a great sense of humour and could speak English. I apologise but we didn’t speak Italian. Car parking very easy and secure. Lots of bars and restaurants in walking distance as was the shore. An excellent stay and would definitely return.

Nice hotel in the old town with all important private parking. Excellent breakfast and attentive staff. I would stay here again. Only slight negative is paper cups for the in room tea/coffee making. I would expect a four star hotel to provide propèr cups.

Lage: Gut gelegen, vieles ist schnell erreichbar. Service: Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Man fühlt sich als Gast willkommen. Zimmer: Sauber und ordentlich. Ein Stern Abzug aufgrund kleiner technischer Mängel: Der Kühlschrank im Zimmer gibt immer wieder deutlich hörbare Geräusche von sich, was gerade nachts störend sein kann. Auch WC und Dusche verursachen bei Benutzung ungewöhnliche Geräusche, besonders das WC läuft nach dem Spülen länger als man es gewohnt ist. Gesamturteil: Trotz kleiner Schwächen ein empfehlenswertes Hotel mit gutem Service und fairen Preisen. Würde wieder buchen.

Having booked this hotel with my disabled husband , I was shocked to find our room was not in the hotel but in an annex 100 metres down the road . No one advised me of this and we had to walk up to the hotel for breakfast , very poor disabled entrance from a steep side street and through the garage ! No disabled toilet either !! Advertised area shuttle , not available , advertised as having a Terrace it doesn’t! Advertised as airport shuttle , not got that either , airport shuttle was the regular bus service from the port 250 metres , so we got a taxi !! The room was nice , small kitchenette but cupboards were over 6 ft high and they provided a step stool to reach them !! Not really acceptable for us elderly people ! Our only shining light was Pankesh our room attendant who kept our place immaculate and provided us with lots of assistance … he is a credit to the hotel . The hotel staff were ok , but couldn’t explain why the booking sites don’t inform you that this is not an actual hotel room . Very Poor and I would not recommend for anyone who is not young , fit and preventable 6ft 6 inches tall !!

The hotel is in a brilliant location and the reception area is elegant and comfortable. We never saw the bar open. The staff were pleasant and competent. The room was fine but there was no storage space for our clothes. There were hangers. If we revisit Brendisi we’ll stay there.

We were not staying in the hotel but at the apartments they have in a building a block or so away. Apartment was excellent - modern, super clean, huge and very comfortable. But, what really made this a great experience was the front desk staff who were professional, has a great sense of humour and went out of their way to be helpful.

Thank you for a wonderful stay in Brindisi. Really easy to find, with a 10 minute walk from the station. And a lovely warm welcome on arrival. I really liked the classic/historic style of the hotel. The breakfast was fabulous, with plenty of delicious choices, great coffee, and served with a smile. Great air-conditioned rooms and comfy beds for a good night sleep. Thank you for the Brunda pizza restaurant recommendation. A real highlight of my trip. Hopefully I'll be back again soon.

Andre and his wife at the reception desk were welcoming, personable and very helpful with local knowledge and advice. At breakfast Toni and Antonio took great care to insure that all was in order and well stocked. Such was the care, that Toni actually would frequently stir the food in the steam trays to insure that the food still looked edible at the end of the breakfast hours. Though I travel 6 months of the year, that is something I rarely see. Highly recommend this Hotel.

Hotel bietet soliden Mittelklassestandard, mehr aber auch nicht. Und ist damit mit 120 Euro für ein Einzelzimmer de Luxe deutlich überteuert. Vor allem aber wollte man mir beim Check-In zuerst ein normales Einzelzimmer (besser gesagt: eine bessere Besenkammer mit schmalem Bett) andrehen - weil angeblich mit der Datenübermittlung von Expedia etwas schief gegangen sei (was ich für Humbug halte, warum sollte Expedia ans Hotel andere Daten übermitteln als auf einer Buchungsbestätigung stehen). Jedenfalls musste ich vor Ort Expedia anrufen, um zu meinem Recht zu kommen. Außerdem: Kein Tageslicht, da sich die elektrisch betriebene Jalousie nicht hochfahren ließ. Wurde auch trotz sofortiger Meldung in vier Tagen nicht repariert.

Orientale hotell låg väldigt nära hamnen i Brindisi perfekt för att lätt ta sig runt i gamla delen med många bra restauranger och nära hamnen för att bara gå ner för en promenad. Fullt med butiker affärer och kaféer som fanns några steg utanför. Personalen på hotellet var väldigt hjälpsamma med allt jag undrade och pratade väldigt bra engelska. Kommer garanterat att boka min nästa resa till detta hotellet. 10 av 10

Walking distance from the train station (ca. 15 minutes). Even closer to the touristy sights. Very friendly staff at reception. Breakfast has lots of options and on request they provide for example fresh orange juice or other kinds of coffee than what’s available from the buffet.
