The stay was fine. Upon arrival there was plenty of parking. I could see some lights on the outside of the building flickering, that needed replaced. (Not a big deal, it happens.) The lobby was clean and well maintained. The staff was ok. They didn't seem to like their jobs. Nobody was smiling. They all looked tired and ready to go home. Check-in was fast enough I guess. I'm still not sure why it seems like every hotel I go to they're writing a research paper and clicking clicking clicking and then 5-8 minutes later they're done checking you in. Anyway it was smooth but I feel like in 2006 it should be a much faster process. The room was clean but smelled strong of cleaning supplies, like bleach maybe. The bed was a little on the firm side and I woke up with a sore back. The sheets and bedding looked and felt clean. The AC worked well. Two nice TVs but we didn't use them. We paid extra for a room with a jetted tub and it wasn't worth it. It took FOREVER for the tub to fill. The jets barely worked. They moved water around but they weren't strong at all. Some lid looking apparatus next to the faucet was leaking water down the side on to the tile so we didn't run the jets very long for fear of creating damage. The caulk job around the tub was gross and looked very poorly done. We didn't stay in it very long. We only got that hotel because if the jetted tub and it was a disappoinment. But we get a good night's rest. The continental breakfast was good. The food was hot and fresh.

I always have a very peaceful and restful stay at Country Inn and Suites. The location is perfect for most medical appointments, restaurants, and shopping. Their breakfast is very good!
