This was probably the worst motel stay I've ever had. Let me share with you my plight that came upon me by booking this motel. This used to be a travel lodge and it's obvious that it was recently purchased. That didn't matter to me, I was stranded in this town because I missed my train and I had walked all the way there with a phone and no charger, dead by the time I got there from the Amtrak station. I walked up to the door at 11pm, the doors say closed. I knock and ring the bell and wait, but nothing. I knock louder until finally two men come downstairs, they check me in, don't tell me where the room is, just that checkout is at 11 after taking my id and credit card. After attempting and failing to buy a charger that works nearby, I do an inspection of the mattress as I do with any motel I stay at, I didn't expect an issue, only this time it was different. There were little red dots all on the sides of the mattress, in the cracks, looked like spckles of blood and who knows what else. So, indo what anyone would do and go ask for a new room. This motel with at least 40 rooms mind you only has about 8 cars in the parking lot, most rooms are empty. It's 1am, I'm knocking louder and louder until finally they come down angry, they refuse to change me rooms at first, saying none are available, so I ask for a refund, they say to call hotels.com, I have no phone mind you. I go back to my room sobbing, letting everyone know that there's bed bugs until finally they change my room.

The hotel had only one other occupant as far as I could tell and we got placed right next to them. They had guests over, were loud and up late and woke us up many times having sex! Walls are more than thin. It was the hardest bed and we got 2 very thin pillows. The door isn’t right fit as there was a decent gap around the whole frame allowing air and bugs to get in. The picture is not what it looks like from the front, so much so I drove around a few times trying to find it thinking no way this run down hotel was it.
