SpringHill Suites by Marriott Logan

Our family has stayed at many Marriott hotels, including other SpringHill Suites locations. During our entire stay WiFi was not working, due to DNS server failure. WiFi is an absolute necessity for me, since I often am required to work while on the road. Neither the free or upgraded WiFi was available. I had to run across the street to the local Jimmy Johns to get any internet service. The room we reserved was a Two Queen Suite that is supposed to sleep 6. The room has two queens, but instead of a sofa bed to sleep two more, there is a couch with a trundle bed, so unless someone sleeps on the couch, there is only sleeping arrangements for 5. As the father of my family, I took one for the team and slept on the very uncomfortable couch for two nights, which was absolutely ridiculous. They only provide 2 towels for each room, so all rooms with more than two people had to ask for towels, which made the front desk super busy just for towels, and there was usually only one person at the front desk. The pool and hot tub were so chlorinated that my eyes had chemical burns from just being in the room (not even swimming). I had to open the outside door and sit halfway outside in the cold just to be able to watch my kids swim for the short time they could stand it. The west elevator is in severe need of repair (said by an elevator mechanic we rode with there). Breakfast was decent. I usually love the Marriott hotel family, but this one seems to be cutting too many corners.

Great location in the heart of Logan! It's the perfect walking distance from great restaurants and a short drive to Logan canyon. Easy check in and very clean throughout. The rooms are bigger than the average hotel room. I love that they separated the toilet from the shower! Both the shower and toilet area had their own mirror and sink making it easier for multiple people to get ready at the same time! However, our ventilation fans didn't work for those areas so hot showers or stinkies wouldn't get ventilated out. The breakfast was above average with a lot of options and different main courses in the mornings. The staff worked hard to keep everything stocked so there wasn't a worry of not getting food towards the end of the breakfast time. I wouldn't recommend using the pool! The water was really cloudy, a lot of bubbles in the hot tub when the jets were on(not a good sign of it being cleaned correctly) and my eyes were burning just sitting in the room while my kids swam (also not a good sign of it being taken care of properly).

Parking for the hotel is poorly marked. Only a few spot in front. We didn’t know if we were allowed to park where we did due to lack of signage

We really enjoyed our short one-night stay including the breakfast. Everything was great except that the one Tesla destination charger was not working and front desk staff did not know anything about how check it or get it running. I request that management either notify Tesla to remove the location as a Destination Charger or just get the power connected to it and notify staff that it is working and available when guests ask about it. One of the main reasons we chose this hotel was because of the Tesla destination charger access. The two other EV chargers in the same garage were frequently taken and we had to create an account and pay for charging. Not complaining about paying for charging, it's just that our expectations were that it was a free amenity based on the Tesla site: https://www.tesla.com/findus/location/charger/dc25410 This site says "5 Tesla Connectors, available 24/7, up to 16kW. Available for customers. Please see front desk."

Perfect in every way. I also loved that there was convenient EV charging in the parking garage.

Parking wasn’t the best. The room was clean and overall enjoyed the stay.

Stayed here with my kids for a quick overnight. Love the trundle bed/daybed setup with SpringHill, as it allows us to fit the whole family in one room! The pool was a hit and I liked the exercise room--clean, everything working and easy to access. The breakfast was fine, but I've definitely had better at other SpringHill locations. I would still come back and stay here again. Its a great location and very family friendly.

Abby, who checked us in, did an exceptional job. She was friendly and very efficient. We think that the large, comfortable room for the price paid is a good value. Plenty of free parking. The hotel is a block off of main street, so there is no noise from the traffic.

It was a decent place to stay. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, breakfast was good (french toast sticks were fabulous.) But there were 2 things I was not a fan of. Number 1 - my room was a king suite. Not a fan of the toilet in a separate room than the shower. Weird. Number 2 - definitely not a fan of getting stuck in the elevator for 25 or so minutes with an employee giggling on the other side that someone was coming to fix it. I was in a hurry and late for a lacrosse game so did not go complain to the front desk although I have no idea who the employee was since I was stuck in the damn elevator with the door opening about 2 inches then slamming shut every time someone tried to call the elevator. Earlier in the day I noticed the door to the elevator next to the one I was stuck in opened very very slowly. Definitely need to get some maintenance on that.

We had an excellent experience! Swimming in the pool and floating in the hot tub the having a sleepover in our room is a highlight for our whole family!

Great stay. The hotel was very clean.

Front desk staff was kind and very quick to help us upon check in. We were late getting into town and went to the room to put our bags down and then left for our event. Once back to the hotel we noticed our room wasn’t as clean as we were expecting. The shower curtain had pink mold covering almost all the bottom half of it. It was late so we just dealt with it. Talked to the front desk upon check out to make them aware. They said they would take care of it. The amount of mold that was there didn’t happen over night, I’m hoping they up their cleaning habits in the future. I would stay at this property again, but I will check the room a little more thoroughly before we settle in.

Our sheets had not been changed and there was a used soap bar in the shower

We love this hotel, and have returned many times over the years. Our reservation showed five people staying in our room, but there were two towels, and no bedding for the trundle bed. The sofa had clearly not been cleaned after several messy guests; we hardly wanted to sit on it, let alone sleep on it. There was pink mold, along the edges of the bathtub that we had to wipe off before we felt comfortable using it at all. The mattress on the trundle bed was covered in stains… the kind you can guess the origins of, but that you really really really don’t want to know! Overall, a great brand and usually a great stay, but this hotel is in desperate need of a deep, deep cleaning.

I reserved a whirlpool room with a tub, when I called the hotel to confirm and check in, I was told a whirlpool room was not available. I was given a room with a shower instead. The receptionist was less than polite and hung up on me twice. When I arrived at the hotel to check in, She offered no resolution….only to say, “she was new, she was the only employee at the hotel at the time, her manager was not available, and there’s nothing that could be done.” The room was dusty. Elastics and debri under the bedside table. Cords covered with dust. The shower nozzle cover was broken and hanging down…it looked like it had been glued with hot glue. The light in the toilet room was slow to turn on…there may be a short in the outlet box. The pillows were lumpy and flat. In the morning, I asked the receptionist for contact information for maintenance, or management, she again, was leas than polite. …That's saying it nicely. The room cost me $200.00. It was supposed to be a relaxing getaway for my husband and I. I intentionally booked with Marriott, thinking it was a reliable, clean, well-maintained room with kind employees…this has been my experience with past Marriott bookings, but far from my experience this last weekend. I was disappointed to say the least. A little better customer service would have gone a long way to improve the situation. A little kindness, empathy, and accountability is so important in business!

The floor of the shower looked warn out (dingy/dirty). The King Bed was hard/uncomfortable.

A good stay. The room was quiet but it had issues. Design: slippery bathtub with no anti slip mat, a long room with no natural light in the seating area, and bathroom doors intended for wheelchair users that have previously locked guests in the bathroom. Maintenance: blown light bulbs in the fridge and microwave. Accident: on our first night, lightning struck the hotel! It took out one elevator, the Wi-Fi on our floor, and apparently some other equipment. Not the fault of the hotel but it did change our experience! The team did the best they could. Apparently the hotel was built in 2008 and will be renovated in 2025.

Bed was comfortable. Quiet. Both doors to the water closet and shower were on sliders, like a barn door. Both stuck and were very hard to move.

Beds were uncomfortable partially because they were advertised as queen and they were actually double beds. The room was a ada handicap room however there was a standard tub shower not a roll in shower don sure how a hadi cap person could get in. Also the toilet had no grab bars and was a short thing not ada at all.

I have stayed at many Marriott hotels, and I expect a certain quality. This hotel did not meet those expectations. First, the layout of the room is ridiculous. In every other Springhill I have stayed in, when there is a dividing half wall, there are two televisions so that all beds and living spaces can easily see the tv. At this location the only tv, which is very small, is so far away from the second queen bed by the window that you have to turn your head to the side to see it. Placing the shower and toilet right in front of the two queen beds may save space, but it is unacceptable, no one wants to stare at a wall like this when they are trying to sit back, relax, and watch tv. This layout in no way lends to a pleasant relaxing time. Second, the beds were awful! Both my sister and I woke up with sore backs. Third, the breakfast was not that great. The eggs were cold and had hard lumps, there was no fresh fruit, the waffle area was a complete mess, and the overall layout was confusing. We won't be staying at this hotel again.

We think we found our new go to hotel when visiting the Cache Valley area! The staff was very friendly and very helpful. We love the spaciousness of the room. It is always nice to have a separate seating area in a hotel when you are out and about. We loved the separate shower and toilet rooms. The beds were comfortable and we slept very well. The breakfast was good as well!

It was quiet when we got there on Sunday, but everything was in such great order. Stephanie got us settled in a hurry and she was able to be helpful with other issues during our stay. The room was not only large and clean, but well appointed and we Enjoyed the room and the breakfast the next morning. Great place to stay!

Hotel was fine. Strong bleach smell when we arrived. Slightly unusual bathroom layout which had a toilet in on small closet like room and a second small room with the shower both right at the end of the beds. Both doors were opaque so users of the said toilet and shower felt a little exposed. Not the end of the world, just slightly uncomfortable. Not as good as expected from online photos but were would probably stay again. Restaurant attached to the hotel was great. Excellent food and great service.

Our recent stay was great. But the ladies at the front desk were so friendly and helpful. Everytime we made a request they made every effort to help us. Thank You for making our stay so nice.

Front desk people are not professional, so rude & sarcasm.

The lady that checked us in. Asked for my dl and debit card and didnt say why? The customer service rep checking in another guest, next to us. I can hear her say " have you been to our proprty before?" And she took the time to explain to the guests where they can park and where to find the elevators.etc etc..the "so called" representative that checked us in. Just gave us my keys and said have a good day? SMH no kind of greeting no kind where anything is at? We than came down to use the swimming pool and there was no courtesy water anywhere. I had my grandson ask the rep if there was water somewhere. She tells him "behind" the counter "(pointing) it's over there by the pool" another SMH. As ifnshe had a line of customers to help and we were "interrupting " her. Went to use the water fountain and the water was WARM..another SMH. Pay 213 for one night and the service was CRAPPY. DO better job Marriott training your representative!! First impression is everything. I wont be staying there anymore!

Pool and hot tub are lovely, the room comfortable and tidy. That said, I had no wifi for 2 days. Restaurant and room service are non existent on a Sunday. Nobody at the front desk ever picks up the phone, I was not impressed, to say the least

We stayed in Logan overnight for a volleyball tournament. This hotel is close to everything. Pretty crowded in the pool /hot tub area and smelled like Chlorine as soon as we got into our room. The rooms are getting older and need some updating but It's still nice.

This was a nice property to stay at while visiting the Utah State Campus. It’s right on Logan river so if you like to fish this is a good place to stay. Breakfast was ok, not my favorite but otherwise the pool hot tub and suite was very nice

First, when I booked it, I thought I was getting the whirlpool room. There was a picture of it on the room that I was looking at. I got there and they put us in a place with a walk-in shower. The shower was nasty, and one of the lamps next to the bed, apparently had been dropped or thrown as it was bent at the base. The lady who checked us in was fabulous, Unfortunately the guy working the night shift was not so great. It was completely unsympathetic and clearly couldn’t care less at my frustration about not getting a tub and offered to solutions. Hotels.com would not acknowledge their error either. Breakfast was rather bland. Definitely not worth the money. This was a $100 room at best.

This property has always been great for me. Friendly, efficient service. Good breakfast with plenty of choices.

The property is very clean and the rooms are as well. The staff at the reception desk were amazing and very helpful. The breakfast in the lobby was very good. The layout had many choices and very tasty food.

Overall, everything was great. The facilities are nice, the room was spacious, the breakfast was fantastic. The only things I didn't like was that the room was booked for 6 people and only the two queen beds were made up. There were no sheets or blankets for the couch and we had to make up the trundle bed ourselves. Maybe that's how things are typically done in rooms like this, but in a hotel where we paid a much higher price than surrounding hotels during a week that wasn't super busy, it just seemed that when the room was booked for 6 people, it should be made up for 6 people. Everything else was great though.
