This hotel is extremely run down. I can say it seems well cleaned, but expect a flashback to the 1980's. No coffee maker in the room and the machine in the lobby makes a cup at a time, tasted terrible.

They charged more than what I had agreed when I booked with hotels.com. Room was old and outdated. Hallway smelt like curry so bad my eyes would water and we were forced to run to not have the feeling we were being maced. Even in our rooms the smell was strong. Pool doesn’t look like it has been operational in several years and felt that the listing was deceptive. Zero amenities, and had the feeling at any moment some sketchy was going to happen

The location is good. The property is very run down. Our joke is that the ice machine has been broken for 15 years. It seems the entire place is now for sale, and I hope someone will buy it and fix it up

The toilet was used and not flushed. There was a dead bug on the night stand. The room had a strange odor. The ironing board is the small version that sits on the bed and leg was broken. The shower handle came off when turning on the water. Outdated and kept up. Long story short, i will NEVER return to this establishment.

this is the worst motel ever i stayed, it’s dirty and a lot of dust in the motel, it smells bad and they charged us more than what we reserved in expedia . we booked two nights to stay but we stayed one night and didn’t go back for the second night. I recommend not to stay there

My son and I travel around the country going to college football games. We were looking at budget options near Madison and this fit the bill at a third of the cost of anything in Madison on a gameday weekend. 30 minute drive to get to the city wasn't bad at all. The other reviews on here and google made me a little nervous, especially when we were going to check in very late. Staff was extremely courteous and friendly. The property and room we stayed in was clean and well maintained. My only mild criticism is everything was very dated. Imagine a hotel just not getting a major renovation for 30 years. Furniture, lamps, carpet, etc definitely look like they've been in use in the rooms with no change since the 90's. Not a problem for us, but could see how it might be a turnoff for others. We've definitely paid much more and had much worse. I will absolutely come back the next time i need a place to stay in the area.

The owner was extremely nice when he checked us in late at night, and he even gave us a room upgrade and switched us to the first floor when he saw how much luggage we were carrying. The place had a nice old-fashioned, personal feel and check-in was with pen and paper, which was a refreshing throwback to simpler times. The room was clean, inviting and comfortable. Very pleased!

Our room was a generous size. There was even a table and chairs (in addition to king bed, two nightstands, recliner & long dresser) so we could eat comfortably and play a card game too. The decor reminded me of spending the night at my grandparents’ house. It’s certainly not the latest and greatest, but has a welcoming feel! :)

Staff of was very rude and disrespectful, he over charge my stay because “I was being unfair” he claims that he 2 more people going in a room than I said when they were just helping carrying things in. I tried to explain but he kept interrupting being rude and disrespectful and HANG UP ON ME, before I could say anything else. Rooms smell little weird, they need a lot of update but they’re very clean.

We've definitely paid much more and had much worse. I will absolutely come back the next time i need a place to stay in the area.

My son and I travel around the country going to college football games. We were looking at budget options near Madison and this fit the bill at a third of the cost of anything in Madison on a gameday weekend. 30 minute drive to get to the city wasn't bad at all. The other reviews on here and google made me a little nervous, especially when we were going to check in very late. Staff was extremely courteous and friendly. The property and room we stayed in was clean and well maintained. My only mild criticism is everything was very dated. Imagine a hotel just not getting a major renovation for 30 years. Furniture, lamps, carpet, etc definitely look like they've been in use in the rooms with no change since the 90's. Not a problem for us, but could see how it might be a turnoff for others. We've definitely paid much more and had much worse. I will absolutely come back the next time i need a place to stay in the area.

This hotel is extremely run down. I can say it seems well cleaned, but expect a flashback to the 1980's. No coffee maker in the room and the machine in the lobby makes a cup at a time, tasted terrible.

The hotel is very nice, and it’s quiet. It is an older hotel, but just as nice as any I have been in. There’s no breakfast or swimming pool available. The staff is very friendly and so nice to talk to.

The air conditioning did not work right ,it wasn't blowing enough air ,and my significant other , and I have bad ungs It was too hot in the room,we had to go out and buy a fan..I looked,and I noticed the side of the air conditioning was not properly sealed, there was an open space ,to where you could see the outside,and outside air could get in.There was no plug for the bath tub either.The beds were comfortable though .need to think about moving the mirror from behind the tv ,and replacing the toilet seat ,so it's not child size.The room was for the most part clean,and the person who checked us in,maybe the owner was polite,and nice.Need to take into considerarion though that there are many people such as my significant other ,and I who have lung issues like us,among other health issues,so you should make a point to ask this,because for my significant other and I, it was hard for us to climb all the stairs,you should of asked if we had any health issues,and put us on the first floor.
