Very nice place to stay, my only (minor) complaint is the fobs/reader used to access the common areas, car park, lifts and room did not work very well which was a bit frustrating. Overall I would highly recommend the Rolling Surf Resort.

We stayed in a 3 bedroom oceanview apartment ( no.8). From the moment we walked into the apartment it was fantastic! Clean, modern, huge in size with a beautiful view of the ocean. Whoever owns that apartment has absolutely thought of everything and obviously cares about their occupants. There was everything we needed. The beds were so comfortable. The fridge had an icemaker with cold filtered water. The pool is amazing, with an actual deep end of 2.7m which is rare in any resort/hotel pool. Great parking in the basement big enough for 2 cars side by side. The reception girls were lovely on check-in and check-out. Great to have restaurants/cafes under the resort. The beach is right there, a 2 min walk, no roads to cross. The entire 6 night stay was a wonderful experience and we will definitely be back. Thank you to the owners of apartment 8 for providing such a lovely space.

Enjoyed my 2 days here. Secure undercover parking, 3 dining option right infront of building - direct access onto the beach. Apartment was clean and well set up. Rooftop access for an outdoor gathering was nice and the pool looked like good value too.

Could easily have been a 5 star review, however: Positives: Amazing location Great apartment (poolside 2 bed was a brilliant set up) Negatives: Chlorine in the pool was off. My Husband and niece played in the pool and came out with super irritated eyes. We had to go and buy eye drops, and his face was super red and raw all evening. My rings also went black - luckily temporarily (having been in pools all round the world this hasn’t ever happened before). When we rang to inform them the gentleman did say he would recheck all the levels. Hopefully that got sorted quickly. The stay was very impersonal. The caretaker lady was not particularly friendly, and when we asked a question we were made to feel like Imbeciles. Even the reminder to check out letter that we got under the door basically said ‘make sure you check out by 10 and take your rubbish out’. I appreciate they are serviced apartments but it really did feel like the only thing you were paying for was the location (and it wasn’t a small amount!). There was a lovely blonde lady on reception who was really pleasant and helpful, she was at least nice to deal with during the stay.

Great location with everything you want from Kings Beach at your doorstep. We would definitely stay again. All clean and had everything we needed. Pool is huge, could be warmer, has sun on it in the morning but covered in shade in the afternoon.

We were supposed to stay here for a week but had nothing but problems and it got so bad we ended up just leaving a few days early and moving to a different property a few kms away! The property is older and rundown and the unit we were given had a bunch of issues. We paid for a 2 bedroom oceanfront apartment. If you select this option be sure to check where they are putting you because we were stuck right above the beach bars and right behind huge trees, so our “oceanfront” balcony was really just a view of trees and people eating/drinking all day and night. This also meant tons of noise at night making it impossible for my young kids to get to sleep before 10 or 11 each night. Our unit was supposed to have a jetted tub but it was broken upon arrival and they said they couldn’t get it fixed until our last day there! The dishwasher wouldn’t drain so they had to send maintenance to come look at it and turns out the drain was clogged with broken glass. We weren’t able to close the door to the kids bedroom because the twin beds are too long and block the doorway. One day we got locked out and our door key just stopped working completely. This apartment has a full kitchen but while cooking our first night we discovered there are no oven mitts provided so we had to go buy one. The biggest problem though, the one that made us leave early, was COCKROACHES! We found more and more each day and all they did was deliver us a can of Raid. After killing at least 30-40 we left.

Room was a bit tired especially the bathrooms and couch, unit could use a bit of a renovation. The only thing we didn’t appreciate was the letter put under the door the day before checking out telling us we needed to empty all the rubbish bins ourselves and take them to the basement garbage bins. I’ve never had to do this in any holiday accommodation before. However that’s a minor inconvenience and it wouldn’t stop us from booking this place again and we would definitely recommend it as a great place to others. Thank you

The property is very well located right on King's Beach .It was great walking on the the beach and then straight into our unit complex. It was very clean and tidy but could use a freshen up with a re paint. Otherwise , a very lovely stay which we will be doing again in the future.

Rolling Surf Resort is ideal for couples or families. Our apartment was a little dated, as are a lot of apartments in Caloundra. Very close to the beach cafes and surf club. Absolutely loved our stay.

Great location, balcony overlooked a small path and then straight onto the beach. The apartment was well equipped and laid out, a perfect place to relax and unwind. Only negative would be the strict smoking policy in the resort, it meant we needed to leave the entire property anytime someone wanted to vape/smoke. Had I known the apartment balcony was a non vape area we would have booked elsewhere. Having said that the rule probably suits the majority so not complaining, just highlighting for future travellers

Lovely 3 bedroom apartment in a beautiful location. Overlooking the beach, cafe/restaurants downstairs. Walking distance into main shopping area, including cinemas. Only negative is the 3rd bedroom doesn’t have an external window and gets a lot of noise from the lift foyer area.

Amazing staff. Well located. Good sized room. The carpet was a little musty and the room was a tiny bit run down but we enjoyed our stay and will stay again.

Amazing location right on Kings Beach bonus restaurants underneath the building. Room was very good - a bit tired and could do with a revamp but great views good parking available under the building overall a very pleasant stay - staff at reception were great and very helpful.

The reception staff were lovely and very helpful for a late check in and it was simple and easy. The facilities were good, lovely pool. Room was pretty spacious. Only thing that was a bit weird was the bathroom, it had like shutters to close it off and was in the middle of the room sort of. It didn’t lock and didn’t feel private for a family staying with older teens. Otherwise it was a pleasant stay.

Very nice place to stay, my only (minor) complaint is the fobs/reader used to access the common areas, car park, lifts and room did not work very well which was a bit frustrating. Overall I would highly recommend the Rolling Surf Resort.

Great location and the apartment was fully equipped. Great for families. Having clothes airers is a great benefit. Room was a bit tired especially the bathrooms and couch, unit could use a bit of a renovation. The only thing we didn’t appreciate was the letter put under the door the day before checking out telling us we needed to empty all the rubbish bins ourselves and take them to the basement garbage bins. I’ve never had to do this in any holiday accommodation before. However that’s a minor inconvenience and it wouldn’t stop us from booking this place again and we would definitely recommend it as a great place to others. Thank you

Incredible stay at Rolling surf resort. Location is 👌. We had a 2bedroom pool view which also gave us a semi ocean view, everything you need in an apartment. Apartment was clean on arrival, checked in after hours and it was an easy after hours check in.

Could easily have been a 5 star review, however: Positives: Amazing location Great apartment (poolside 2 bed was a brilliant set up) Negatives: Chlorine in the pool was off. My Husband and niece played in the pool and came out with super irritated eyes. We had to go and buy eye drops, and his face was super red and raw all evening. My rings also went black - luckily temporarily (having been in pools all round the world this hasn’t ever happened before). When we rang to inform them the gentleman did say he would recheck all the levels. Hopefully that got sorted quickly. The stay was very impersonal. The caretaker lady was not particularly friendly, and when we asked a question we were made to feel like Imbeciles. Even the reminder to check out letter that we got under the door basically said ‘make sure you check out by 10 and take your rubbish out’. I appreciate they are serviced apartments but it really did feel like the only thing you were paying for was the location (and it wasn’t a small amount!). There was a lovely blonde lady on reception who was really pleasant and helpful, she was at least nice to deal with during the stay.

The property is very well located right on King's Beach .It was great walking on the the beach and then straight into our unit complex. It was very clean and tidy but could use a freshen up with a re paint. Otherwise , a very lovely stay which we will be doing again in the future.

Great location, beautiful Ocean views, beautiful large swimming pool, large apartment, in room spa, restaurants and bars very close. Everything was perfect for our 3 night stay. We arrived late, after hours checking in was very easy. The communication from administrators was excellent. We would definitely stay there again if we return to the area.

We stayed in a 3 bedroom oceanview apartment ( no.8). From the moment we walked into the apartment it was fantastic! Clean, modern, huge in size with a beautiful view of the ocean. Whoever owns that apartment has absolutely thought of everything and obviously cares about their occupants. There was everything we needed. The beds were so comfortable. The fridge had an icemaker with cold filtered water. The pool is amazing, with an actual deep end of 2.7m which is rare in any resort/hotel pool. Great parking in the basement big enough for 2 cars side by side. The reception girls were lovely on check-in and check-out. Great to have restaurants/cafes under the resort. The beach is right there, a 2 min walk, no roads to cross. The entire 6 night stay was a wonderful experience and we will definitely be back. Thank you to the owners of apartment 8 for providing such a lovely space.

Fantastic venue with secure parking. Near everything and including two great lunch/dinner places out front near the beach. The staff was great at communicating and kept the facilities secure. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at Rolling Surf this weekend! We stayed here over a decade ago with family a few times, and I truly believe the property is even nice now than back then. The management of the property seem to keep things really updated and in neat condition. Not to mention it’s a super easy to navigate car park, with heaps of street parking around if needed for additional vehicles. It’s a wonderful location, with great views and great food available from the shop fronts down stairs. It’s walking distance to ‘downtown’ Caloundra as well. The receptionist when we arrived Friday night was so lovely as well, she really set our stay off to a good start.
