Area for dogs just a small patch of weeds. Many weeds in flower beds and some plants dead

Grounds around the buildings need attention to clean up litter, mow weeds etc.

Room was clean but dated. Property had a lot of unused equipment, furniture, and items stuffed under stairwells and laying out in the open.

This motel was overall average. The down fall was the lack of staff in the evening. Coffee maker in the room was terrible. it leaked severly. the batteries in the remote for the TV were dead and we had to replace them with our own. Pet area was over grown and not marked properly.

The hotel was okay. They have pet rooms, however, there is no place at the hotel to walk the dogs. They have signs on every dirt area saying keep dogs off. There isn't even a grassy area along the road to walk them. So good place to stay without dogs, but not with dogs.

For a pet room it was very clean and smelled like a non pet room. The vaulted ceiling made it feel very spacious. Overall a pleasant experience.

Says Pet Friendly Rooms all over... I booked a "Pet Friendly" room. I came with 2 cats. After I left, charge additional $200 Because they said it only includes Dogs. Cats arent pets. No notification. No forewarning. No communication when they saw we obviouly had a cat sitting in the window. Just a $200 fee when I left. This is a Scam!!

Grounds were not kept up. Bathroom had mold around the tub.

A basic motor lodge but large uptaded rooms and very clean and bright. Nice staff!

Hair in the fridge and shower.

Room was dirty. Fan had so much dust on it we were afraid to turn it on. Bathroom was also dirty. Too much noise from the neighbors.

I stayed in one of their rooms a few years ago and while it was dated, it was clean and ok. This trip, there were ants all over the bathroom counter and sink as well as sand on the floor. It’s one thing for a motel to be outdated and worn and a different thing to be dirty and gross.

Comfortable stay. Bathroom could have been cleaner and there was blackish mold on areas of the tub as well as discoloring on the floor. Its an old motel but for the night it was comfortable enough.

Stayed and paid the additional cleaning fee extra for a pet friendly room - Unfortunately at our arrival the floor was so filthy that it stained my new white socks black on the soles … sadly very very dirty … sheets were mostly clean - only a few hairs and dust I think - they smelled clean/ bleached ( thankfully) but just super disappointed that the floor and table were so gross. Won’t stay again :(

We arrived Wednesday afternoon checked in and went to our room! The office had an odor in it from the start. We put the sign on the door for Maid Service on Friday to hopefully get clean towels! We left around 8:00 in the morning and didn’t come back until after 4:00! As we were pulling in my husband said well the sign is still on the door. We went in and sure enough the pile of towels was still on the floor where we left them. Then later I had put on a pair of clean white socks to go somewhere and when we came back I took my shoes off. After walking around for about 10 mins in the room the bottom of my socks were black. There was something laying on the bathroom floor the entire time we were there. The TV remotes batteries had to get switched every 10 mins if you wanted to try and control the TV. Then got woken up at 4:00 Saturday morning from the people up above us. It was like they were jumping around up there. Not the way you want to be woken up on vacation. They will not get our business again if we ever go back to Brooking’s! They could benefit from sprucing up the older hotel then it might be worth the $131.00 a night. I paid less for a nicer room elsewhere in another city before we went here

My room was very noisy due to proximity to the road, and my room had ants.

The property was old, but thats ok. Our room had no working AC, the tv didnt work and the shower over flowed into the bathroom. I tried to change rooms but there was no one at the front desk and tge second time i went, it was closed.

Price for summer rates is extremely high for no view and being more than walking distance to water. The price is right in line with a hotel directly on the water. Some rooms do not have AC and I felt it this last trip. Staff is friendly, property was clean.

I loved that they had a tub! I hated that they had a Roku tv system. No idea how it worked. Who on earth wants to watch "live tv", whatever that is??? Would have much preferred satellite so i could have watched a movie. I don\'t have a tv so would have been a nice treat. Otherwise one of the nicest rooms i\'ve stayed in.

Nice older motel. They have worked on it so it is welcoming. Room is arranged well, plenty of towels, great refrigerator and small microwave. I cant rate the coffee maker as i didnt have coffee. Good sized TV.

I stay at Wild Rivers several times each year. While I realize it’s an older property, it’s a little run down. The rooms haven’t been updated in a long time. The furnishings are old and outdated and the beds/pillows are uncomfortable. Unfortunately, I was placed in room 132. What a horrible room!! The roadway noise is non-stop all night long. Due in part to old windows and no means of sound dampening. While I will possibly stay there again, I most certainly not stay in any room approximate to the roadway

The beds were comfortable but we were not aware there was no air conditioning. He made it sound like we were the ones in the wrong.The remote needed new batteries.

Couldn’t figure how to turn on tv. Remote didn’t turn on tv or adjust the volume. No instructions. No tissue in room. Coffee maker didn’t work and office didn’t open until 9 and we were heading the road. So no coffee before our drive. Hotel needs some updating

The person at the front counter was very helpful. Updated me to a bigger room at no extra cost. My fire alarm was beeping due to a low battery. He came over and changed the battery within 3 minutes.

Second stay so far at the Wild River. I will definitely be back. The staff is AMAZING!!!!

I stayed here based on reviews and it was a miserable fail. It's obvious that the reviews are fake. Yelling all night long from a family who obviously lives on the property. The room and bathroom are very dated and the bed was not comfortable. Occupancy was low when I stayed (maybe 4 occupied rooms) They stuck me in a room that had the vending machines and an overflowing trash can right outside the window. My request to move to a quieter room was accommodated, but came with an upcharge of about $30! The garbage cans and dumpster were overflowing with trash with a run down RV in the middle of the parking lot. I did find the staff at the desk friendly and apologetic about my experience at check out.

I stayed one night while on a motorcycle trip up the coast. My room was clean and quiet, check-in went smoothly, and the motel is within easy walking distance of several restaurants. Highly recommended!

Easy access and close to everything the town has to offer!

Perfect area right off the main road. Great place for a night stay when you’re passing through Brookings.

Desired place to stay when visiting Brookings. Great location close to our favorite places. Staff is always nice. Place is always clean. Must try Pacific Sushi (walking distance).

Mike was great and super helpful. Close to town and can walk to shopping, bars and restaurants.

Great location to walk to the local sushi place and coffee shops. We stay here every year for a night or two.

Check in was super quick and easy. Plenty of parking. Clean room. Really quick walk to downtown food and entertainment.

Nice clean and great location by harbor and city. Quiet and cozy. Basic accommodations.

We enjoyed the premium pet-friendly room. The AC/Heat fan blocks out the traffic noise. We walked to restaurants and the ocean is close. Staff is friendly and check in easy. We will stay again.
