There was a Starbucks on the premises. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Hallways were also nicely decorated and clean. Staff were super friendly and accommodating.

Very nice hotel in the downtown area of Detroit. Close to the People Mover to get around. Price was reasonable. Room was clean and spacious and staff were friendly. Valet parking was convenient.

Parking is a cluster f**k! First I payed for valet, then valet said “we don’t park full size trucks” so I had to park offsite?? Ok fine, pay for offsite and when we came back from our event the offsite I paid for was full? Then they told me again that valet would take care of it. Nope again! So now I’m driving around Detroit looking for street parking per the recommendation of the staff. Other than that everything was fine.

Fitness center equipment nice but lacking water and good ventilation. Customer service was bare minimum even when asked questions. Room refills, i.e. shower, not done Noisy in lobby with TV too loud and music playing as well very loud and level not able to be turned down either

Clean, well-kept, modern facilities and a great staff. Note that there is no front drive so you just need to stop on the street for the valet, who was very quick and courteous. Staff were all fantastic and the food at the Round Bar was excellent. Definitely will be one of our go-to places to stay in Detroit in the future.

Overall our stay was lovely, but valet parking was Terrible!!! We used the WR code to notify we were checking out, 15min later as we approached thr lobby we received a text saying it would be 30 minutes until our vehicle was ready. After waiting 20 my husband approached the valet as they were returning car and asked if we could have our keys he’s go himself to which the valet said she hadn’t clocked in yet and couldn’t help him (9:50 on a Sunday morning). It alone was enough to turn me off completely, especially as I had prepaid $44 for valet and could have paid $32 and parked across the street ourselves

My family of 5 stayed in Queen Suite that included 2 rooms, a bedroom with 2 queen beds and another room with a pull out couch. The room was clean and spacious. Our room A/C never reached the proper temperature (we weren’t able to change it ourselves, and it was “set” to 68°, but never made it below 74°), and our toilet ran constantly. The Starbucks in the lobby was great, and all of the staff were great. The gym was a little lackluster and there was no pool. I guess I just expected more for this price tag (about $350 a night).

Upon arrival to our 6-person over $800 room, we found dirty underwear left on the chair in the room. This not being found made us question how well the room was cleaned. We called the front desk who made it very obvious they didn’t care and offered a food credit, although we didn’t plan on getting food at the hotel. When I arrived on 26 Nov, the vestibule smelled of smoke, and in the lobby itself the tiles were so stained and cracked it's a wonder they don't put a carpet over them. Queuing for check-in could have been quicker. Wifi could have been a lot quicker: I ran into multiple dialog boxes of errors, then an error 400, then 999. I clicked the button 'Need help connecting?' which took me to a blank dialog box with 'FAQs' as the title. Eventually got it -- but still, the wifi is some ratchet setup that Mac Mail refuses to cooperate work for being so unsecure. Also, Chrome on Mac would not work with their wifi landing page. I had to use Safari on Mac. Even then, I had to keep disconnecting and connecting manually to wifi to keep going. The whole wifi approach at this hotel needs to be replaced with real software. I spent too much time wrestling wifi instead of getting on with my trip. I tried on a different device (Android) which again started with error 400 or something. It got there faster. In room 511, the tissues in the bathroom looked odd, as if someone had just stuffed two back in the box. Sure enough, when I took the first two out, one was slightly soiled in the centre.

Arrived back at hotel after a concert. Temperature in room was 80 degrees. Called front desk and was informed entire 5th floor has a problem with the air conditioning. Requested another room and was told the only rooms available would incur an upcharge! Paid over $200 to stay in a hot room! When something is wrong with your room u should be moved without cost!

We loved our stay here. Beautiful hotel and rooms and easy walk to everything. Room layout is awesome with kids as have separate lounge area with separate tv. Reception staff were super lovely and happy.

Went to a concert at Ford Field, hotel worked great for that. We were in room 602, the sofa bed wasn’t in the greatest shape before we arrived…it was split on one of the seams.

Great location. Excellent staff. My only complaint was the room was very warm even with the temperature set in the 60s, we couldn’t get it below 76.

I reserved a king size bed. My husband is a 6’3 man and we got put in a double queen bed. They didn’t even tell us they change my room and church in I had to find out once u got inside the room. It was very uncomfortable. Customer service horrible.

Our room was given away and we had to be “walked” to another hotel. When I called to try and check in, I was told it wasn’t possible to do and they couldn’t guarantee a room even though I was already charged.

The decor of the hotel is beautiful, but the staff was very rude and lazy. The staff appeared to be in slow motion, attempting to do least possible work before they clocked out. It took us two hours after check in time before our room was clean. The valet initially refused to valet us because our vehicle was too big. The side conversations between the staff was more important than their job. We got “the intimidation stare” if we interrupted their side talk. I got a $30 voucher for the two hour delay in check-in, which was nowhere near worth my time.

From check in to check out we could not have had a better stay. The front service desk employees had so much fun with me and my daughter bc we were staying there for the Taylor Swift concert. Absolute gems!

We like that we can walk to Ford Field or Comerica Park in 15 minutes. The People mover is also a block away. 2 blocks from the Lodge. Surface parking next door for a reasonable fee.

The location was great for what we were doing. The parking was easy and convenient. The room was clean and staff was very friendly. Would stay here again.

Very nice hotel in the downtown area of Detroit. Close to the People Mover to get around. Price was reasonable. Room was clean and spacious and staff were friendly. Valet parking was convenient.

Some construction around property and not well lit outdoors at night. Room was nice and clean. Housekeeping staff were very friendly. Check in was quick and simple. Slow drains in bathroom sink.

Amazing, professional staff that greeting me with a smile. Check-in was quick and easy and property is well-kept. Hotel is walkng dustance to downtown, casinos, and a variety of restaurants. Will definitely stay at this location again and I highly recommend this property.

Spacious rooms. Very nice. Good Customer service. Nice decent hotel. But not very pleased with breakfast. I wish it was a Breakfast Buffet so you can choose what you want. Breakfast not all that and very expensive.

Clean and convient location. Close to many amenities. We upgarded to the breakfast and it was well worth yhe money to do so. (If we did not it would have been pricey)

I stayed at Double Tree Hotel it was clean and in a nice area. I went to a boxing match at the Little Ceasars Arena. I enjoyed the restaurant downstairs the drinks and food was good.

We had an excellent stay. The only negative was getting good service in the bar/restaurant. They need to hire additional servers; we were constantly kept waiting. LeRome in housekeeping was very helpful and provided excellent service when needed. The room was very clean and spacious.

The property was in walking distance to all the happening spots and you can also just stay on the property for any needs. Great amenities and also great dining right on the property.

Clean, well-kept, modern facilities and a great staff. Note that there is no front drive so you just need to stop on the street for the valet, who was very quick and courteous. Staff were all fantastic and the food at the Round Bar was excellent. Definitely will be one of our go-to places to stay in Detroit in the future.

Breakfast was amazing. thank you, Kristal, for all your help The staff was so nice and helpful. from the front desk to the doormen to the housekeepers... Excellent!!!! Truly one of the nicest cities I've ever been too. The bartender was so kind to my grandsons. I believe his name was TJ. They would come down to the restaurant/bar for a late nice snake and would have conversation with them about the city. thank you for the wonderful stay!!

The ac in the room wasn't working very well. I had it set as low as possible. I think 60 degrees. It never reached under 76. Sometimes/ mostly it was more. The room wasn't very clean. Walls needed paint. I was very disappointed for the price, and the fact that it was a Hilton.
