Le quartier est vraiment très beau, calme et agréable. Piscine top et hôtel très calme ..mais problème de Clim pas réglée malgré l’avoir signalé dès notre arrivée..dommage.

Pas de surprise avec cet établissement haut de gamme. Juste un détail la gestion de l'éclairage de la chambre est perfectible : impossible de se rendre aux toilettes la nuit sans réveiller son conjoint ! Autre détail : les horaires de la piscine peu adapté à des séjours de type "road trip"

The hotel is in a lovely area, and we were expecting great things for the outside. Check-in was fine but slow. The bathroom had a real mould issue and smelled incredibly strong of damp and musk. It was a wet room as disabled and obviously they are struggling to keep on top of it. It needs a refit fast. The pool was just for pigeons including a dead on floating around. It could be a great hotel but things seem to be slipping

A great parador with good underground parking and really central location. Delicious breakfast and helpful staff. Would be great if they provided a kettle in the rooms! Although still 30 degrees the swimming pool was closed and many of the public areas had events on Very clean and great tech

This was a very modern Parador which did not fit in with the surroundings. It was almost too new-agey. But the location was excellent and the parking was easy, it cost 16 euro. The pool area was very nice and there were several young families there. We only stayed for 1 night because we were catching a flight from Barajas the next morning. I am glad we stayed in Alcala versus going back into Madrid because it was very easy to get to the airport from here.

Een schitterende parador midden in de stad. Op loopafstand van de mooie gebouwen en het geboortehuis van Cervantes. Ook de omgeving is rijk aan mooie natuur als je niet de richting van Madrid op gaat. We hebben vier dagen van alles genoten, in de Parador van het mooie gebouw, de vriendelijke service, de maaltijden, hygiëne en de Spa. Het enige aandachtspuntje zou kunnen zijn, voor oudere mensen, iets meer licht in de Spa ruimte. Het was een heerlijk ontspannen week.

For the price and considering it is a 4 stars hotel, they need to make some building updates. There wasn’t enough shampoo or towels in our room during the 4 nights we stayed. The pipes were smelly every time we went into our room. Also, the staff members were nice for the most part, but they don’t give you enough information about anything, really. It would be nice that they provide info about the hotel amenities, the spa and the surrounding area. Not a good welcoming experience. And when I asked a question about logistics to one of the staff members, one of them was very condescending. Overall okay.

Hotel is quite nice, but we visited in summer when it is quite hot and our room AC never got the room cool enough to sleep under the covers. No matter what we did the room stayed between 76-78F, 25C (not awful, but not easy to sleep in either). They sent the maintenance team out our second day after we asked for diagnosis and they told us everything looked normal and to be patient for it to cool, but it never cooled and now we are leaving. Unfortunate since the hotel is very nice otherwise.

Sehr stilvolles Hotel in einem historischen Gebäude! Das Zimmer war großzügig und stilvoll eingerichtet, das Bett sehr komfortabel, der Service an der Rezeption, in der cafebar sowie beim Frühstück ausgezeichnet. Ich werde sehr gerne wiederkommen!

El hotel decidió simplemente apagar el aire acondicionado y calefacción, pregunté si estaba en mantenimiento o algo y simplemente me respondieron que lo apagan según ellos creen conveniente, tuve que dormir con las ventanas abiertas por el calor que hace en la habitación y entraron mosquitos

Nos alojaron en la planta 0, que en realidad es -1. Un sótanos con vistas a cuatro cañas de bambú y un muro a metro y medio de todas las ventanas. Los del parador lo llaman, pretenciosamente, zen. Habitación oscura y claustrofóbica, a pesar de que es amplía y moderna. Para dormir está bien, pero ha sido el mayor fiasco en un parador, pese a que últimamente encuentro que van de mal en peor. El personal de recepción altanero y rozando la chulería. En el bar un jaleo de platos ensordecedor. Nunca más este parador

Loved the zen atmosphere, location, and all staff except for one grumpy waitress at breakfast on the second day. Water tasted bad, but no bottled water in the rooms. Air conditioning was not very strong during a heat wave so rooms were uncomfortable. No way to adjust it. The parador policy of forcing us to reserve a time for breakfast after a 10 hour flight is very stressful and inconvenient with jet lag. Particularly when the breakfast room is half empty.

Vi hadde et veldig fint opphold på Parador. Da jeg hadde et behov for et handicap-vennlig rom m/ fasiliteter så fikk vi dette uten vanskeligheter , samt en rullestol til utlån som kunne benyttes inne på hotellets område. Vi vil absolutt videre anbefale Parador i Alcala de Henares !

Excelente trato, hermosas facilidades. El personal es muy atento. El restaurante la Hospedería del Estudiante tiene una arquitectura hermosa y una comida riquísima. La selección de vinos y postres es buenísima.

The room was superb! Location was great near the public transport train 12-15 min walk which we caught regularly to get downtown instead of the Uber! Restaurants are plentiful in the nearby shopping district a few blocks away. Staff was so friendly and accommodating. The only issue was getting a small washcloth 😂 They seem to be in short supply. Anyone considering should just bring their own as all other towels are supersized!

Fantastic location in the heart of a suburban college town. Lots of activity and dining options. Lots of shopping. Very safe. Very reasonable prices. Fantastic day! Wonderful hotel. Staff is fantastic.

For the price and considering it is a 4 stars hotel, they need to make some building updates. There wasn’t enough shampoo or towels in our room during the 4 nights we stayed. The pipes were smelly every time we went into our room. Also, the staff members were nice for the most part, but they don’t give you enough information about anything, really. It would be nice that they provide info about the hotel amenities, the spa and the surrounding area. Not a good welcoming experience. And when I asked a question about logistics to one of the staff members, one of them was very condescending. Overall okay.

They charged me for days I didn’t even stay there. Plus foreign transaction fees. Would not stay there again. Been having to fight with my bank over their ‘mistake’ or rather deliberate attempt to place fraudulent charges on my card months AFTER my stay of 3 days.

Loved the zen atmosphere, location, and all staff except for one grumpy waitress at breakfast on the second day. Water tasted bad, but no bottled water in the rooms. Air conditioning was not very strong during a heat wave so rooms were uncomfortable. No way to adjust it. The parador policy of forcing us to reserve a time for breakfast after a 10 hour flight is very stressful and inconvenient with jet lag. Particularly when the breakfast room is half empty.

The location of the hotel is on a quiet street and walkable to all major attractions. There is a parking garage a block away so parking is convenient. The size of the standard twin room is good for two people with not so many luggage. Front desk staff was helpful, restaurant serves decent food. During our stay there are street sidewalk pavement constructions near the hotel but no big deal. Stayed three nights, had a very nice time in Alcala De Henares. No complaints. I gave it an excellent rating for this stay.

This was a very modern Parador which did not fit in with the surroundings. It was almost too new-agey. But the location was excellent and the parking was easy, it cost 16 euro. The pool area was very nice and there were several young families there. We only stayed for 1 night because we were catching a flight from Barajas the next morning. I am glad we stayed in Alcala versus going back into Madrid because it was very easy to get to the airport from here.

This hotel is housed inside a well preserve historic convent. is recommended and while there one is able to feel the past glory of Alcala de Henares. The room arrangement is somewhat of a labyrinth and also requires a lot of walking and using different elevators to access different parts of the hotel. Don´t count on public transportation. We wasted too much time waiting on trains and buses. Ubers are readily available but $45 to get to Madrid or the airport.

I was surprised that a hotel of this caliber had no tea bags, coffee or way to boil water in the room. There was a cafeteria which had a very limited selection of foods— and they weren’t very tasty. Otherwise, since it’s Spain, one had to wait till 8:30 to eat dinner. I was constantly hungry here as it was hard to find anything to eat. I got tired of ham and cheese chunks for dinner! It was z big of s walk to get z simple bottle of water. The place is impeccably clean but has absolutely no charm or atmosphere.

I love this hotel and have stayed multiple times. It’s close enough to walk to everything but not in the fray so it’s quiet at night. Definitely recommend! There is a wonderful breakfast buffet also!

A great parador with good underground parking and really central location. Delicious breakfast and helpful staff. Would be great if they provided a kettle in the rooms! Although still 30 degrees the swimming pool was closed and many of the public areas had events on Very clean and great tech

An absolutely wonderful place to stay. Beautiful Parador - the most amazing bathroom and a shower you wish you could take home with you. The town is full of fabulous bars & restaurants and I would definitely mark it as a ‘would re-visit’. Maybe it was me but the only thing I can mark it down on was that I couldn’t figure out the room lighting. To have the wc light on meant having mood lighting on in bedroom area too. Probably a design feature I’m not hip enough to appreciate (using the word ‘hip’ is evidence of that !) but it wouldn’t stop me from booking to stay again. Gorgeous place

Our room was very clean with comfortable beds and a great shower but it was very very hot with a view of a concrete wall. It needed a link of paint and the whole hotel felt gloomy. The dodgy electrics were hilarious. This hotel was once a great architectural achievement but now it feels like a generic space more like a hospital and very circa 1980s. The public areas are pleasant and the bar is great with excellent service and tasty food. It was easy to find and parking in the garage was great. It felt like cuts were made to increase revenue and the reception staff were very busy. Having to work all day in a black room would make anyone feel gloomy. The location was excellent
