Booked this location as it was one of the only hotels in Saginaw with a hot tub as that was the one request for our trip. Hot tub was colder than the pool and staff acted like it was no big deal. Upon checkout I was told they have been having that issue for a while now and there was nothing they could do as I booked third party for my stay.

Would have been nice if we were told the pool and hot tub were closed before booking. Went with my 2 sons and booked this hotel for the pool and hot tub and even paid extra just to check in and find out they were out of commission

Even though the parking lot was being worked on parking was pretty easy. The front desk associate that was there on the day I checked in needs to speak more clearly and bit louder I had a hard time understanding her. My room was very nice and clean but the housekeeping staff needs to pay attention to the rooms that are assigned to be cleaned on the assigned day and if you make the mistake of starting to clean a room that was not assigned to be cleaned just finish it and make sure you take your cleaning supplies with you when you're done. And please fix the elevator door the sensor didn't always work and the door closed on my arm. And even though the front desk associate on the day I checked out was super nice I think wearing a crop top, leggings, slides and a backpack is not very appropriate or professional. Despite those minor issues I really did have a nice stay and I would stay again not only to see if things have improved but I believe in second chances. I really liked the set up of the room I had it was really comfortable and I liked that the bathroom was separate from the shower room it felt like a studio apartment the continental breakfast was really good. Thank you for the most part a lovely stay.

The room was very clean, but there was very little storage space even for just two people. We had to leave some of our clothes in our luggage. The room was poorly lit and the bed was not very comfortable. The temperature was comfortable because we could set it as we liked.The hot tub was warm (not hot) and the jets didn't work. The outdoor fire was nice, but it was lit only on the Thursday we arrived and not the remaining 3 days. The hot breakfast consisted of runny oatmeal, scrambled egg patties, and breakfast sausage patties. The cold breakfast consisted of prepackaged muffins, bagels, yogurt, and breakfast cereal. Some of the staff was rude, but most of them were very friendly.

This property was far below my standards for the cost. The hot tub was filthy. There was a line of dirt on my daughter’s shoulders after getting out of the hot tub. Also almost no towels in the pool area and those that were provided were very small. There were two treadmills and one was out of order. There were no sanitation wipes to clean the fitness equipment after being used. There were literally three bags of chips in their little “store” in the lobby where you could purchase late night snacks. There were five people in the room that were accounted for in the reservation but only three large bath towels. Overall, would not stay here again.

The place was great! However, I never give hotels an excellent rating for cleanliness because the cleaning isn’t thorough enough. I’m always finding hair in the shower or stains whether on the exercise equipment or on the furniture. Please take the time on slow days to conduct a more thorough cleaning.

We have stayed here many times before, but this time the check in was ok. Definitely not a warm greeting. She was there to just “do her job” for sure. The drinking fountain in the pool area is covered in mold as were the air vents above the hot tub. Our room was clean and comfortable but the light was burned out above the refrigerator and the upholstered headboard was torn in several places.

Room was very nice & clean, but the bathroom set up was really weird. Toilet & pedestal sink in like a little closet. Bathroom had tub/shower combo with a sink & large countertop but there was a deep clothes closet between the 2 bathroom areas - weird! The lighting in both bathrooms was poor for doing makeup though.

I liked the layout of the room, especially the separate shower and toilet rooms which made getting ready easier for two people. One thing that was odd about the room was not having a lamp next to the nightstand or a light switch next to the bed so I don't have to out of bed to turn off the light.

I was checked into the wrong room. Instead of changing keys to the correct room, I was given keys for the wrong room. In middle of night, folks who reserved room (2 beds and couch) arrived and were also given keys to the room. The clerk never chzz ad need the registry to show I was in the room. I had requested one bed.

There was cereal in the couch, dirty wash rags on the bar, hair all over, stains on the sheets and keys from the previous guests on the TV stand when we got to the room. Loud guests and unhelpful and rude desk clerk. Asked for help and she escalated the situation by being so rude. She resulted to name calling and even called my cell phone to harass me.

No one was at the check-in counter when we got there. We waited roughly 5 minutes before anyone came up. That being said, the lady working the desk was very nice. They were having issues with keys not working and running out of keys. She had to go to a neighboring/sister hotel to get us a key. It worked fine though thankfully. Check in took roughly 20 minutes or so the whole way around. Also there were quite a few families with lots of kids hanging out in the lobby when we got there, so it was very loud! This was at 9:30pm. The hotel itself is pretty clean, so no complaints there. The elevator is a bit sketchy, but most are at hotels.

Our stay at Springhill was great. It's in a good location and very close to restaurants and shopping. The hotel is clean. We always stay here when we are visiting family in Saginaw. This is our go to hotel. You won't be disappointed.

The staff is generally friendly, pleasant and helpful. I was disappointed that whole milk or cream was not among the coffee addition options, no adult beverages were available for purchase and the hotel was out of bottled water when I checked in and the next day. Power outlets at my desk did not work. I did enjoy the variety of breakfast options and will consider staying again. Colleagues stayed at nearby hotel.

The breakfast was VERY limited and the breakfast "sandwiches" they offered were individually wrapped and still frozen on the inside. They really need to step it up. Very disappointed.

Rooms and facilities were great and will definitely consider booking here again if the opportunity arises. Only comment I can make is the complimentary breakfast hours. 6:30am to 9am wasn’t long enough for us to consider as we enjoy sleeping in when we can. Extending the breakfast to 10am (which most others hotels we have used) would have been better.

The hotel room was nice and spacious. We enjoyed the soft beds and the ability to watch Netflix. The staff was very inviting and they had a nice selection of snacks to purchase. My grandma and I enjoyed fresh coffee in the morning. The only area of improvement would be the quality of the hot breakfast that is offered during the week. But the cold breakfast options were good like fresh yogurt and fruit.

The staff was wonderful! Hotel was clean, quiet and safe. Our room was spacious. We had a refrigerator and microwave in the room. They have 2 outdoor areas that are nice. One of them had a fire pit. We didn’t use the hot tub , pool or fitness center. Free breakfast wasn’t the best but there are restaurants that serve breakfast with in walking distance. Overall, we liked the hotel and would recommend it.

The room was very clean, but there was very little storage space even for just two people. We had to leave some of our clothes in our luggage. The room was poorly lit and the bed was not very comfortable. The temperature was comfortable because we could set it as we liked.The hot tub was warm (not hot) and the jets didn't work. The outdoor fire was nice, but it was lit only on the Thursday we arrived and not the remaining 3 days. The hot breakfast consisted of runny oatmeal, scrambled egg patties, and breakfast sausage patties. The cold breakfast consisted of prepackaged muffins, bagels, yogurt, and breakfast cereal. Some of the staff was rude, but most of them were very friendly.

The stay was nice. Excellent staff, nice breakfast and ample parking. My room had a vinyl headboard that was ripped and cracked and the bathroom sink wouldn’t drain well. I reported that.

Pool, two out of three ice machine and laundry were broken. Peeling wall paper and head boards. No guide available for the tv. No place to sit and eat or play games. Suites only in name. People next door set off smoke detector because of cooking in a personal appliance. Alarm rang 45 minutes before staff went to the room, open the door, and stopped the alarm. Our room smelled like grease for several hours.

Worst experience ever got woke up to maintance BANGING on my door talking about he needs come n and fix faucet … what?! shouldn't have ever rented the room if had issues So had switch rooms then moved to new room and this evening for 3rd time since yesterday had switch rooms cuz ac wasnt working now im n 3 rd room amd sheets was dirty had crumbs in the bed and we r itching I have 1 more night here n its been horrible so far so thinking going to leave n morning n go somewhere else problem is 3 hotels rt here are all same management So thinking i will go to bay city Because the itching is worrisome And i dont want to switch rooms for a 4 th time Horrible experience even in a great area this place is horrible Suppose to be a 4 star motel And the pool is out of service and being stuck n a motel 3 nights a 4 days was kinda the point renting from a “ nice “ motel w a pool Rooms need maintance not just one but multiple and Unfortunately not very clean Appearance from first look until u get into the room and there should not be crumbs in bed i had ask floor to be vacuumed i ended up cleaning my room w bleach clean up and disinfectant wipes asked for clean bedding changed my own beds and change my own sheets Horrible experience and beware …. 3 motels rt next to it are same management
