Cafe impecável

We stayed one night at this hotel on our way from Dolomites to Innsbruck. The room was old but comfortable. Shower cabin was small to move around without hitting the shower gel dispenser…Most surprisingly the body towels were very small and we also think they need replenishment. Check-out was at 10.30 (which is early by most hotel standards) and a service maid entered the room without waiting for a response right away at 10.00. We felt like she wanted to warn us that we should leave soon. Overall, not good value for we paid. We did not have breakfast at the hotel but we had dinner which was very good. However, their interpretation of vitello tonato is different than a classic one.

Fijne kamer, vriendelijk personeel!

The Parkhotel Matrei has some of the most attentive and friendly staff I’ve met. The hotel gave off “home” feelings and not commercial hotel. The convenience of a front parking lot, gas station & grocery nearby was great and the rooms were perfect size for me and my many bags, as well as a space for me to get my work done. I was also given a holiday gift bag because they knew I’d be alone for the holiday. Just a great place, words don’t do them justice. Definitely will be returning some day!
