Holiday Inn Purdue - Fort Wayne by IHG

They had no towels clean, no food at breakfast or clean forks, got the wrong room didn’t hold the one I needed so only one bed. Poop at the pool. It was sad that the employees had to deal with a lot of angry customers. One was even going to cry. Need more staff!

The hotel costs about 3x more a night than it should! Way too expensive for what you get. The room smelled, I had to buy Lysol and spray the room completely several times. There were stains on the floor, hopefully not blood - brownish red coloring. The air/heat unit control panel was held on by duct tape. I believe there was a lucky charms marshmallow in the vent. You have to get your own towels for day 2, there is only a maid service every 3 days per their sign in the lobby.

Very helpful staff. Only one entrance into building for customers. 8/10

The carpet on the third floor is awful. It is ripped and needs to be stretched very badly. Stain on the bedding comforter. No shower curtain? There was no breakfast bar when I paid for one, but the staff comped it when I left

In town for a concert at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum and this property is walking distance to the venue, a big plus. The area around was the motel had very nice walking paths and a walking bridge across the St. Joseph River and the area seemed very safe. The property is a bit worn down and in need of some carpet removal / deep cleaning. We were on the 6th floor and the hallway has a smell to it. The carpet also looked rather worn and dirty. Our room itself seemed clean and the bed was comfortable. Rooms has fridges, Keurig coffee makers and microwaves. We were on a trip with friends, but our room did not have a microwave. Due to location to the coliseum, would stay again but I would really hope management would put more into the cleaning and hotel repair. The staff was helpful but did seem understaffed.
