The property was nice, it seems to be a mix of residential and hotel. The view is amazing and there are all dining options available. I didn’t like the parking fee when paying $1000 for a 2 night stay, seems excessive to charge an additional $20 for parking.

Hotel rooms were very clean. Impressive! Well appointed and furnishings lovely and beds comfortable. Only problem encountered was with the coffee makers, which I understand are new for everone. Didn't make coffee, only jot water, after wasting 3 pods. Got coffee at the cafe. Only suggestion is to have a mirror outside of the bathroom so you can get dressed, do makeup, hair, while bathroom is occupied. Speeds things up in the morning. Otherwise, this is a beautiful hotel with a lovely Oceanside location in a spectacular little town that is a great getaway. Every employee we had contact with could not have been more helpful. Everyone was kind and polite. We will be back for sure. Thanks to all who made our short stay a treat.

The room was clean. Minimal view of you craned your neck around the corner. The toilet had mould growing on the bottom rim. Only happen to see this as I was taking a bath and was in eye level of the brim. We stayed for two nights. Coffee applies not refreshed in the morning. Staff were very friendly and kind. Would not recommend a massage at the spa. Very oily.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The building is new and everything felt fresh and modern. The rooms were spotless—one of the cleanest hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Very nice suite , clean and comfortable. It needed a comfy chair. The only places to sit were dining room chairs or the bed. The bedside tables were huge and dangerous. Easy to knock yourself on through the night. We had a corner suite facing the Main Street that got a little street noise around 5. A bit more coffee pods would have been nice.

The room was great, nice clean comfortable but the hotel staff really needs some customer service training. #1 - if asked for a hypoallergenic pillow and I tell you I have skin sensitives and reacting to whatever you use either as a room deodorizer OR in your laundry. Instead of analyzing me and coming up with excuses, just provide the pillow and move on. If you had a PHD I doubt you would be working guest services at a small town hotel. #2 - My husband was in the lobby and asked the desk where the washroom was - the man at the desk proceeded to tell him that there is no public washroom. My husband told him he was staying in room 305, showed his key and again asked to the washroom. The man pretended to not hear him and went about his work until my husband approached the desk and asked for the 3rd time to use the washroom - he was not taken for his word or for the fact that he had a room key on him... instead the man drilled him on his name, address, how many days he was staying and how the room was booked. (ARE YOU KIDDING ME!) if someone needs to use a washroom - who are you to refuse them? Simply asking the question are you a guest here and confirming the name on the room should have been plenty but 101 questions... totally uncalled for. As a guest in a developed country, I am baffled why restrictions of any kind are placed on basic amenities - disgusting.

Front desk staff Jeni, and especially Christiana, were outstanding. We felt they cared about us. They were helpful, kind, professional. Christina really went out of her wsy to book future stays at good rates for us. Had our luggage delivered to our room, etc Recommended property stay.

Easy check in and left my bags to be delivered to my room while I went for dinner. Very pleasant staff. Have stayed here many times over the years the night before an early flight out of YYJ. Taxi organized as well by front staff.

This might take the cake for the worst service I’ve ever received at a hotel. Had my partner surprise me before my big half-Ironman, got her all checked in, got her a key card, a parking pass, all that stuff. I called it an early night and she hung out with some family friends. When she arrived back at the hotel, her key card didn’t work, as it was activated for the wrong room. When talking with the front desk, the woman that checked her in didn’t put it down anywhere, so the night worker thought she didn’t belong there. Since she didn’t want to call or knock to wake me up because of my big race, she was told to sleep in the car!!! SLEEP IN THE CAR?!?!? What a suggestion. 100% the fault of the lady that checked her in incorrectly. A little bit of the fault for the man who didn’t believe her key card, her parking pass, knowing who was in the room, everything else to know she wasn’t a stranger. Again, probably the worst experience I’ve ever had at a hotel. Hope they see this and reach out. I’ll update if so…

Great property and views. Sidney is an excellent town to walk around in and shop. Good selection of pub style restaurants, quick access to the ferry and a short drive to Victoria. The check-in experience needs to be substantially warmer. No smiles, no inquiry about my stay, no offers to help with suggesting restaurants or any information about the hotel amenities. Down right colder than the minus 2 degree weather.

Great view, the suite was like a 1 bedroom apartment. Really enjoyed the view. Hotel staff were great, coffee shop has really good breakfast wraps and coffee.

Overall a wonderful luxurious pet friendly stay. Of note, the onsite 10 acres restaurant has a great menu, and dogs are allowed on the entire outdoor patio, with excellent multiple heaters (above and beside) to keep us warm. An improvement I’d suggest to the 2 TVs in the rooms would be streaming capable boxes. The cable boxes seemed to have only network tv, though many channels. The park, pier, and beach upfront is world class, and 180 degree views from the rooms to the east are beautiful with almost floor to ceiling glass for viewing and brightness.

We love it here! This is our second stay and will be sure to come back. The cafe off the lobby has fantastic breakfast sandwiches and pastries. Coffee options are great too. And the bed was super comfy!

It was a great stay and highly recommend. It was clean, comfy, great grassy area with comfy chairs to look out to the islands, wonderful farm to table restaurant near lobby.

I was greeted by Kaitlynn who was friendly, professional and efficient. My room was clean and I was surprised to see that I had a view of the ocean and my own private deck (I had booked a city view). The bistro downstairs serves good coffee, tasty baked goods and gelato and the hotel is within easy walking distance of local shops and the beach. I would definitely stay there again.

The property is well located in downtown Sydney. Very walkable area with lots of restaurants and coffee shops. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this property and would stay here again.

The hotel is beautiful, check out the living walls in the lobby seating area. The view from our very quite room was perfect. The staff was more than welcoming, they made us feel wanted and cared for. The decor of the hotel is attractive and upscale without being pretentious. Being in the heart of the city everything is a brief walk. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious with a nice espresso maker. The bathroom was large and the tub was the largest, most relaxing tub of any hotel I have stayed in. Do take a bath, then dry yourself with the warm towels from the hot towel rack. Beds were comfortable especially if you bring your own pillow to make you feel at home. This hotel is worth the price and the time spent. Restaurant tip: Must try the Riga restaurant just across the street, but do make a reservation, you won't be disappointed.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel. The location was absolutely perfect - next to the pier and just a five minute walk to everything. The hotel itself was wonderful, with a fantastic restaurant overlooking the water and a great café.
