We were traveling during a June heat wave and were so so happy for the air conditioning. Our room was a good size for our family of four. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was convenient and so was the bar in the lobby. The entire hotel was clean and welcoming and we enjoyed our stay!

Nice hotel for an over night. Nicely postioned at the finishing line of the race course with a pub in walking distant. Not much else near by for walking but saying that if you like walking there are some great walks around the downs.

Room as described and clean. Lighting could be better and brighter as light not situated I. The middle of the room but by the window. Breakfast very nice and staff very pleasant and helpful. Bar set up with tv nice for viewing sport on tv.

I will start with the positives. The Hotel is situated in a beautiful location looking onto Epsom racecourse. Nice big carpark and the hotel it’s self is very up to date with nice decor. I enjoyed the all you can eat cooked breakfast on both days. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The not so positives The twin beds are a bit on the small side. When I moved one of the beds it was really dirty underneath it with an old condom packet. The room was really hot on both nights even though it was 15c outside and the window had been open all day. So we ran the very noisy air conditioning. A very annoying thing was the smoke alarm has a flashing red light and is just above one of the beds.

Very quiet, excellent parking. Room has dirt on the floor. Shower mat had mold on the underside you could see through its transparency. Nice buffet breakfast. Paid in advance, with credit card on file, so why a £30 security deposit? Ruins IHG image & reputation. Stayed in their Boston Airport with renovations with no issues. Disappointed.

Lovely and quiet location, the bar staff were really lovely and helpful. The sofa bed was very uncomfortable, only suitable for a small child. You could feel all the bars through a mattress which was only about an inch thick.

Nice hotel, lovely location by Epsom races. Rooms well equiped with ironing board, iron, hairdryer (quite powerful), bedside reading lights, tv, blackout curtains but sadly no fridge. Beds very comfy and nice pillows. Bathroom well lit with good mirrors. Breakfast not the most expansive but has all the basics. Bit more limited if yr gluten free like me, i did advise them in advance and a very helpful lady knew about me and got me the allergy sheet and gf toast done out back in a special toaster. I had bacon n beans (i dont eat eggs) and an apple. Note that the forest fruits were NOT gluten free nor the sausages or hash browns. They did have gf cornflakes availble too.

Even with some help from Reception to try and order a supper from town, I failed to master the technology on my iPad! I was advised to wait and I would hear that delivery was on its way. After a very long time waiting in Reception, staff took pity on me and made a few phone calls on my behalf. It turned out that my order hadn’t gone through! By now it was late evening and I was very hungry. One of the Reception staff disappeared and came back with 2 croissants and butter, which went down very nicely with a cup of coffee in my room! I was very grateful.

The property adjoins Epsom Racecourse and was an excellent base for our activities such as golf in the area. The rooms are of an excellent size; clean and fresh considering the hotel is amazingly 15 years old. The car park is of a good size, convenient and the buffet breakfast excellent. The front office, cleaning and breakfast staff are competent and friendly. The Rubbing House Restaurant is very close and serves excellent and reasonably priced evening meals BUT please book. The hotel is close to the Epsom township which is well served by shops. Park at the Ashley Centre. There is also a very good Thai Restaurant contained in The Plough Hotel in nearby Leatherhead. We could not fault our lodgings here even if picky.

Great check in. Reception allowed me early access to my room which was much appreciated after a 5am start and attending a local wedding that didn’t start until 2-30. This gave me some much needed rest. Thank you very much

We had a lovely stay! The staff were always friendly and accommodating, and I really appreciated their attention to detail—having a bath mat available was important for my toddler's safety. They also allowed us a late checkout, which was a big help. The breakfast buffet had plenty of great options, and I loved the coffee machine. Overall, a comfortable and thoughtful experience.

Hotel was clean and tidy, staff were so friendly! Nothing was too much trouble for them at any time of the day or night. Stunning setting next to the derby and very quiet. Buffet breakfast was lovely, huge and plenty of choice. Fresh and constantly being restocked. Will definitely be back!

I will start with the positives. The Hotel is situated in a beautiful location looking onto Epsom racecourse. Nice big carpark and the hotel it’s self is very up to date with nice decor. I enjoyed the all you can eat cooked breakfast on both days. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The not so positives The twin beds are a bit on the small side. When I moved one of the beds it was really dirty underneath it with an old condom packet. The room was really hot on both nights even though it was 15c outside and the window had been open all day. So we ran the very noisy air conditioning. A very annoying thing was the smoke alarm has a flashing red light and is just above one of the beds.

Nice hotel for an over night. Nicely postioned at the finishing line of the race course with a pub in walking distant. Not much else near by for walking but saying that if you like walking there are some great walks around the downs.

The hotel is clean and modern, and the staff helpful and friendly. It’s located in a quiet, pretty area opposite the race course and a short ride to the train station and shops.

Remote but good environment overlooking at Epsom Down race course. Within 10 mons drive to Epsom town center. Overall happy with the stay.

Nice hotel, lovely location by Epsom races. Rooms well equiped with ironing board, iron, hairdryer (quite powerful), bedside reading lights, tv, blackout curtains but sadly no fridge. Beds very comfy and nice pillows. Bathroom well lit with good mirrors. Breakfast not the most expansive but has all the basics. Bit more limited if yr gluten free like me, i did advise them in advance and a very helpful lady knew about me and got me the allergy sheet and gf toast done out back in a special toaster. I had bacon n beans (i dont eat eggs) and an apple. Note that the forest fruits were NOT gluten free nor the sausages or hash browns. They did have gf cornflakes availble too.

Hotel was clean and tidy, staff were so friendly! Nothing was too much trouble for them at any time of the day or night. Stunning setting next to the derby and very quiet. Buffet breakfast was lovely, huge and plenty of choice. Fresh and constantly being restocked. Will definitely be back!

Ci siamo fermati una sola notte, di passaggio. È stato molto interessante conoscere la storia del luogo, che non conoscevamo proprio, non essendo frequentatori di corse di cavalli. La location è bellissima, hotel situato in mezzo alla pista delle corse. Quando abbiamo soggiornato non erano previste corse e quindi era tutto molto tranquillo ma è stato comunque emozionante poter fare un giro a fianco al percorso. L’hotel è molto accogliente e pulito, la camera piuttosto spaziosa (sebbene fossimo in quattro). Tutto molto curato. Colazione ottima. Consigliato!

Great stop for a family before a day at chessington world of adventure. Would work great if you were staying a few days too as it’s only 10-15 minutes away.

Good stay but family room was cramped as the fold out sofa bed takes up most of the space. Also no tables at breakfast but the breakfast was delicious, we just had to sit up the bar

The room was clean and had everything that was needed - an iron, hairdryer, kettle etc. Check-in was a little slow as there seemed to be glitches with computer - two staff had to figure out what was wrong. We were not told what the issue was. We were the only people checking in at the time and it took between 10-15 minutes. Too slow. Breakfast tables were not cleared quickly. Its obvious there will be busy times but this is when you need staff to be on the ball, scanning the breakfast area, clearing and wiping tables properly (not pushing crumbs etc onto seating and floor), checking food levels and not having a long queue form for eggs or anything else.
