Great location and incredible views but difficult to find even with GPS. Don\'t attempt this at night unless you are very savvy. Signage needs to be improved. Parking very difficult. Staff told me it was OK to park along side of street where there were no (no parking) signs or a lot down the street. The next AM I had a parking ticket when we parked on the street. The staff seemed surprised ?? Fine of 20 Euros has to be paid within a couple days at the Fira town hall or post office. Fine increases after a few days. The rental car company said they would pay it for you if you paid an employee another 9 Euros to run into town. Facility is showing its age, but you are paying for the view and service. Staff was very attentive in all aspects except the parking issue. I strongly stated they needed to inform their guests on arrival about the parking issues. Lots of good restaurants within walking distance (especially "Avocados" and "Dear Elie"). breakfast delivered to room/ balcony and was very good.

The balcony view was excellent. However no services not even facilities to warm up food no facilities for plates or silverware breakfast was very ordinary no hot food coffee was cold. Electricity was out for a day no backup generator. I would not rate property 4 stars. Other than the view which was excellent disappointed with all other areas

As our 5th time in Santorini, I knew the location of this hotel would be great. And it was exactly that! The hotel itself is decent value for money for the location, but next time I think we would pay a little more and head to one of our previous hotels (most likely Anastasis Apartments, just down the road from above blue). Pros: -location -Room size -Private Hot Tub Temperature was spot on -Views Cons: -Service was very transactional, and didnt stand out like the fantastic hospitality we are used to in Santorini -Hotel main areas are pretty tired and dated -Room itself was nice, but could do with a deep clean and paint touch ups, particulalry around hot tub and bathroom -Main pool was very cold and looked like it needed a good scrub or re-paint. -We checked in early and was told earliest we could get into the room was 3pm. The receptionist advised that expedia was wrong and the check in time is 1500, not 1400 as shown on website. (However, she did subsequently bring forward the time and got us in 'Early' at 1415) -When I enquired about Expedia Gold room upgrade availability, the receptionist nearly fell off her chair! She advised that they dont do that sort of thing during peak season (September?) -The free bottle of wine was 35cl and warm. Not that it got any nicer after chilled! Overall this hotel would impress many, but after seeing the calibre of several other hotels, and the normal service levels in Santorini, Above Blue Suites left us a little dissappointed.

This hotel is very nice with an amazing view.can be update some in certain areas. Breakfast was nice. You fill out a sheet picking items and a time for the first day and seems to be stuck with it for following days. The staff is very nice and helful. There's no elevator. If you cant do about 30 stair up and 30 down depending on your room location this may not be for you.

Very good service, wonderful employees and facility. Do not go into the room with a hot tub expecting a “hot tub” it is more of a “cool water tub”. It is a set temp dependent upon the weather. But beautiful views and good experience!

We were there in October. It seemed maybe the staff was kind of done for the season. The bathroom smelled (sewer type smell), the bed was made each day but glasses were never cleaned/replaced, towels didn't get replaced after two days as promised (but did when asked), rooms are dated, door was very hard to open. Breakfast was a chore, had to call every day to get a specific time, what was delivered wasn't always what was ordered...just not very good compared to many other breakfasts we had at other hotels on the same trip. The "hot tub" was lukewarm, the pool was freezing cold (maybe it is never heated due to usual hot weather?). However, the view was spectacular! We liked the location too with many good restaurants around and a nice walk into Fira, and we did do the walk to Oia which I would highly recommend. I'm guessing a stay here during the summer would be better!

Sofia at the front desk was fantastic. Knowledgeable, excellent communicator and ready to help in every way. No doubt her assistance made our stay wonderful. The main attraction is the incredible view, pool and lounge chairs. Easy walk to restaurants. Facility could use some freshening up. Overall excellent stay.

The location with the view was excellent. Complementary breakfast served in the room were average quality and cold. There are missed items in the breakfast what you checked the day before. The service or calling to the reception was only limited to 9AM to 9PM. There is no restaurant or food option in the hotel. Also all the restaurant were closed during first/second week of April and we had to walk 10-15 mins to get any food. All the nearby restaurants were closed as it was not the season said by the people. After staying one week, we requested for a late check out as our flight was late afternoon and we were asked for additional money and got denied when we wanted to provide additional money. I would not recommend this hotel for a family with kids.

Stayed in Moonlit suite. Pros - great view, quiet area, room is generally nice, good service, prompt airport pick up, comfortable bed, clean, good location. Cons- advertised as “adults only” but a couple was staying there with a toddler who disturbed the peace at the pool several times (this was very annoying), room looked like it had mold on walls in bathroom, breakfast was not good and not what I ordered (other people also mentioned this and I found those reviews to be accurate), patio furniture on our deck could be replaced.. old looking. Our room did have a nice jacuzzi but the water was too cold for me so I didn’t get to try it.

The view from the hotel is excellent, but everything else not so good, TV not working, jacuzzi not working , breakfast items that you check to bring not given, house keeping terrible, food left behind after cleaning and floor black, my feet would be black when i stepped bare foot, and front desk terrible, when bringing these issues to their attention, they acted like nothing is wrong, im sure they knew the tv and jacuzzi was not working, they made us feel like our concerns were not valid, well for 600 plus a night thats not acceptable, stsy aay from this kind of service!!

The building is solid concrete, even someone walking with hard shoes makes the noise loud thru nearby rooms. We had trouble sleeping due to constant noise. Housekeeping was slack. We had to ask to get new towels after 4 days and our bed was not made until we requested it. Also, the tap water is not drinkable and no bottled water is supplied or available when you arrive. So you need to purchase water from a shop. Don’t arrive late if want a drink that night. Better still, book a different hotel!!

This property has a great view of the Caldera & sunset right in front of us. Service was excellent. They brought our luggage several steps down to our room and up the steps when we left. They hired luxury vans to transport us from the Port to the hotel & from the hotel to the airport. They served great food for bkfst. Room was very clean, upgraded, nicely tiled bathroom. Quiet area.

I don't like writing 1 star reviews but this needs to be shared so others don't experience the same thing. We specifically booked this hotel for the private hot tub and caldera views. We paid a STEEP PREMIUM for this amenity. When we arrived, the pool water was cold and when we asked the staff, they said it's like that and can't be changed. They didn't offer any other resolution other than for us to "deal with it." This was really disappointing as we only used the hot tub for 3 minutes. A few other things to note: - the room was not clean when we arrived. The floor was sticky everywhere. - the bathroom tile had toothpaste stains in it. - the shower had clumps of hair. - the bedsheets and pillowcases had makeup stains, other orange color stains, and what looked like dirt. The housekeeper didn't bother to change them but just rearranged them. - the towels smelled like cigarettes. - the kettle had RUST INSIDE. - not a big deal but the windows weren't cleaned and it didn't give the views justice. This was yet another example of how run down and not well kept this property was. When we reached out midway through our stay to see what options were available, they simply said that we had no options and no compensation was warranted. We shared pictures of the window, the sheets, and the kettle. It feels like they simply don't care about the quality of your stay. They just want your money. Bare bones basic hotel with poor service. This is a 2-star hotel on its best days.
I don't like writing 1 star reviews but this needs to be shared so others don't experience the same thing. We specifically booked this hotel for the private hot tub and caldera views. We paid a STEEP PREMIUM for this amenity. When we arrived, the pool water was cold and when we asked the staff, they said it's like that and can't be changed. They didn't offer any other resolution other than for us to "deal with it." This was really disappointing as we only used the hot tub for 3 minutes. A few other things to note: - the room was not clean when we arrived. The floor was sticky everywhere. - the bathroom tile had toothpaste stains in it. - the shower had clumps of hair. - the bedsheets and pillowcases had makeup stains, other orange color stains, and what looked like dirt. The housekeeper didn't bother to change them but just rearranged them. - the towels smelled like cigarettes. - the kettle had RUST INSIDE. - not a big deal but the windows weren't cleaned and it didn't give the views justice. This was yet another example of how run down and not well kept this property was. When we reached out midway through our stay to see what options were available, they simply said that we had no options and no compensation was warranted. We shared pictures of the window, the sheets, and the kettle. It feels like they simply don't care about the quality of your stay. They just want your money. Bare bones basic hotel with poor service. This is a 2-star hotel on its best days.

Our experience at Above Blue Suites was incredible. Everything was spotless, and the views were absolutely breathtaking. The breakfast was delicious and full of flavor we genuinely looked forward to it every morning. We loved being able to choose what we wanted and having it delivered right to our room. The staff was very kind, attentive, and professional. I have nothing but wonderful things to say and highly recommend booking your stay with them.

The view of the Sanrotini island caldera is spectacular and mesmerising. The location is excellent for walking access to Fira (1.3K) . The room was clean. The staff were very helpful. Some maintenance is required to refresh the complex.

We were there in October. It seemed maybe the staff was kind of done for the season. The bathroom smelled (sewer type smell), the bed was made each day but glasses were never cleaned/replaced, towels didn't get replaced after two days as promised (but did when asked), rooms are dated, door was very hard to open. Breakfast was a chore, had to call every day to get a specific time, what was delivered wasn't always what was ordered...just not very good compared to many other breakfasts we had at other hotels on the same trip. The "hot tub" was lukewarm, the pool was freezing cold (maybe it is never heated due to usual hot weather?). However, the view was spectacular! We liked the location too with many good restaurants around and a nice walk into Fira, and we did do the walk to Oia which I would highly recommend. I'm guessing a stay here during the summer would be better!

This is a dreamy, better than expected place with views to die for. Since I have never been to Santorini before, it represents the island perfectly while its location works for airport and port transfers. The room is clean, stylish and simply adorable

Beautiful property. The views are breathtaking. Jacuzzi in our suite was also warm, which was very pleasant. The bathroom was not in the greatest condition, i.e., the faucet was not working properly and the rain shower head was not working at all.

Our room and restroom was spacious. The hotel has a nice sunset view. You can easily walk to Fira in about 20-25 mins and take public buses to Oia. On the negative side the staff are not super helpful in terms of guiding you about how to enjoy the trip or telling you about walkways to Fira. Second night of our stay we had water coming mysteriously in our room. In the morning of the checkout there was no cold water so toilets were no working. Explanation given was the technician is around and looking into it. Nothing was ever fixed so we had to wait to get to airport to use the restroom. On checkout we also saw a big water tanker truck on the property delivering water so they were clearly out of water. Breakfast with a view was nice. Overall a mixed bag but the concept of customer service and providing actual resolutions seems to be an alien concept. There is a nice eatery/ bakery we discovered at like 10 minute walk which we used a lot and was great called Illios bakery.

10/10! Stayed in the Moonlit suite which we was super happy about. Had our own private hot tub on the balcony and was more secluded than the other suites they had to offer. Will definitely be booking again

The building is solid concrete, even someone walking with hard shoes makes the noise loud thru nearby rooms. We had trouble sleeping due to constant noise. Housekeeping was slack. We had to ask to get new towels after 4 days and our bed was not made until we requested it. Also, the tap water is not drinkable and no bottled water is supplied or available when you arrive. So you need to purchase water from a shop. Don’t arrive late if want a drink that night. Better still, book a different hotel!!

The view from our room was stunning. The most beautiful sunset we've ever seen. The room, Golden Echo, is simply incredible. The room is huge with several areas including an indoor Jacuzzi with hydromassage. Breakfast was served every day on the balcony overlooking the sea and was next to another jacuzzi with hot water and hydromassage. The staff made a point of treating us like VIPs and gave us an incredible boat cruise trip. Our suitcases were carried up the stairs by a member of staff. In other words, just perfect. The location is perfect, especially for couples who want peace and quiet. And quick access to the other parts of Santorine, such as Oiá and Fira. The receptionist was very attentive on the first day and gave us a map with directions to various must-see places and restaurants. They also took care of transportation to and from the airport at a very fair price. Our stay at Above the blue was simply sensational.

Stayed in Moonlit suite. Pros - great view, quiet area, room is generally nice, good service, prompt airport pick up, comfortable bed, clean, good location. Cons- advertised as “adults only” but a couple was staying there with a toddler who disturbed the peace at the pool several times (this was very annoying), room looked like it had mold on walls in bathroom, breakfast was not good and not what I ordered (other people also mentioned this and I found those reviews to be accurate), patio furniture on our deck could be replaced.. old looking. Our room did have a nice jacuzzi but the water was too cold for me so I didn’t get to try it.

If I could rank this place even higher, I would !! Staff was Four Seasons nice. Best location on island ! Centrally located and away from all the foot traffic and boat tourists ! Get restaurant recommendation from staff. Short walk away and best on the island. Let them make your reservation. Eat there every night because you won't find better. I lived in Greece for 5 years !! Walkable to bus station and easy to figure out system.

This property has a great view of the Caldera & sunset right in front of us. Service was excellent. They brought our luggage several steps down to our room and up the steps when we left. They hired luxury vans to transport us from the Port to the hotel & from the hotel to the airport. They served great food for bkfst. Room was very clean, upgraded, nicely tiled bathroom. Quiet area.

Sofia at the front desk was fantastic. Knowledgeable, excellent communicator and ready to help in every way. No doubt her assistance made our stay wonderful. The main attraction is the incredible view, pool and lounge chairs. Easy walk to restaurants. Facility could use some freshening up. Overall excellent stay.

The location with the view was excellent. Complementary breakfast served in the room were average quality and cold. There are missed items in the breakfast what you checked the day before. The service or calling to the reception was only limited to 9AM to 9PM. There is no restaurant or food option in the hotel. Also all the restaurant were closed during first/second week of April and we had to walk 10-15 mins to get any food. All the nearby restaurants were closed as it was not the season said by the people. After staying one week, we requested for a late check out as our flight was late afternoon and we were asked for additional money and got denied when we wanted to provide additional money. I would not recommend this hotel for a family with kids.

Great location and incredible views but difficult to find even with GPS. Don\'t attempt this at night unless you are very savvy. Signage needs to be improved. Parking very difficult. Staff told me it was OK to park along side of street where there were no (no parking) signs or a lot down the street. The next AM I had a parking ticket when we parked on the street. The staff seemed surprised ?? Fine of 20 Euros has to be paid within a couple days at the Fira town hall or post office. Fine increases after a few days. The rental car company said they would pay it for you if you paid an employee another 9 Euros to run into town. Facility is showing its age, but you are paying for the view and service. Staff was very attentive in all aspects except the parking issue. I strongly stated they needed to inform their guests on arrival about the parking issues. Lots of good restaurants within walking distance (especially "Avocados" and "Dear Elie"). breakfast delivered to room/ balcony and was very good.

Our room and restroom was spacious. The hotel has a nice sunset view. You can easily walk to Fira in about 20-25 mins and take public buses to Oia. On the negative side the staff are not super helpful in terms of guiding you about how to enjoy the trip or telling you about walkways to Fira. Second night of our stay we had water coming mysteriously in our room. In the morning of the checkout there was no cold water so toilets were no working. Explanation given was the technician is around and looking into it. Nothing was ever fixed so we had to wait to get to airport to use the restroom. On checkout we also saw a big water tanker truck on the property delivering water so they were clearly out of water. Breakfast with a view was nice. Overall a mixed bag but the concept of customer service and providing actual resolutions seems to be an alien concept. There is a nice eatery/ bakery we discovered at like 10 minute walk which we used a lot and was great called Illios bakery.

Centrally located and easy to get to anywhere on the island. Great service. Awesome views and comfortable outdoor seating. So comfortable my husband fell asleep out there twice. Breakfast was good and included at your outdoor table for dining with a view. We stayed in the Felicity room with the pool right in front. The view of the Sanrotini island caldera is spectacular and mesmerising. The location is excellent for walking access to Fira (1.3K) . The room was clean. The staff were very helpful. Some maintenance is required to refresh the complex.

We were there in October. It seemed maybe the staff was kind of done for the season. The bathroom smelled (sewer type smell), the bed was made each day but glasses were never cleaned/replaced, towels didn't get replaced after two days as promised (but did when asked), rooms are dated, door was very hard to open. Breakfast was a chore, had to call every day to get a specific time, what was delivered wasn't always what was ordered...just not very good compared to many other breakfasts we had at other hotels on the same trip. The "hot tub" was lukewarm, the pool was freezing cold (maybe it is never heated due to usual hot weather?). However, the view was spectacular! We liked the location too with many good restaurants around and a nice walk into Fira, and we did do the walk to Oia which I would highly recommend. I'm guessing a stay here during the summer would be better!

Sofia at the front desk was fantastic. Knowledgeable, excellent communicator and ready to help in every way. No doubt her assistance made our stay wonderful. The main attraction is the incredible view, pool and lounge chairs. Easy walk to restaurants. Facility could use some freshening up. Overall excellent stay.

This is a dreamy, better than expected place with views to die for. Since I have never been to Santorini before, it represents the island perfectly while its location works for airport and port transfers. The room is clean, stylish and simply adorable

The location with the view was excellent. Complementary breakfast served in the room were average quality and cold. There are missed items in the breakfast what you checked the day before. The service or calling to the reception was only limited to 9AM to 9PM. There is no restaurant or food option in the hotel. Also all the restaurant were closed during first/second week of April and we had to walk 10-15 mins to get any food. All the nearby restaurants were closed as it was not the season said by the people. After staying one week, we requested for a late check out as our flight was late afternoon and we were asked for additional money and got denied when we wanted to provide additional money. I would not recommend this hotel for a family with kids.

Great location and incredible views but difficult to find even with GPS. Don\'t attempt this at night unless you are very savvy. Signage needs to be improved. Parking very difficult. Staff told me it was OK to park along side of street where there were no (no parking) signs or a lot down the street. The next AM I had a parking ticket when we parked on the street. The staff seemed surprised ?? Fine of 20 Euros has to be paid within a couple days at the Fira town hall or post office. Fine increases after a few days. The rental car company said they would pay it for you if you paid an employee another 9 Euros to run into town. Facility is showing its age, but you are paying for the view and service. Staff was very attentive in all aspects except the parking issue. I strongly stated they needed to inform their guests on arrival about the parking issues. Lots of good restaurants within walking distance (especially "Avocados" and "Dear Elie"). breakfast delivered to room/ balcony and was very good.

This hotel is very nice with an amazing view.can be update some in certain areas. Breakfast was nice. You fill out a sheet picking items and a time for the first day and seems to be stuck with it for following days. The staff is very nice and helful. There's no elevator. If you cant do about 30 stair up and 30 down depending on your room location this may not be for you.

Our experience at Above Blue Suites was incredible. Everything was spotless, and the views were absolutely breathtaking. The breakfast was delicious and full of flavor we genuinely looked forward to it every morning. We loved being able to choose what we wanted and having it delivered right to our room. The staff was very kind, attentive, and professional. I have nothing but wonderful things to say and highly recommend booking your stay with them.

Only good things to say about this property. It is absolutely gorgeous, and to top off the beautiful views (right on the caldera) they serve you a custom (free) breakfast right in your suite. All the suites have some sort of outdoor area, be it a balcony or just a private space outside, and it was so lovely to sit out there and enjoy breakfast. The staff was super helpful in all aspects, and there are many options for dining right nearby. Imerovigli is a centrally located town which we felt offered the best of all worlds. Serene and quiet while still having some dining and shopping, and only a half-hour (gorgeous!!) walk to Fira and all the bustleness. Nice to go out and explore then return to our little piece of heaven.

Above Blue is everything you can expect on Santorini... It has absolutely stunning views from every spot including the rooms. The breakfast was delicious and will hold you over till you eat your gyros from yogis later.

Stayed in Moonlit suite. Pros - great view, quiet area, room is generally nice, good service, prompt airport pick up, comfortable bed, clean, good location. Cons- advertised as “adults only” but a couple was staying there with a toddler who disturbed the peace at the pool several times (this was very annoying), room looked like it had mold on walls in bathroom, breakfast was not good and not what I ordered (other people also mentioned this and I found those reviews to be accurate), patio furniture on our deck could be replaced.. old looking. Our room did have a nice jacuzzi but the water was too cold for me so I didn’t get to try it.

We loved our suite (Moonlit). The view was outstanding from our balcony. Loved our small private pool and being provided breakfast on our balcony was amazing. The staff where very helpful and lovely to deal with We also loved the main pool and laying on the day beds with the view was truly beautiful Property was clean and we couldn't fault it Little shops nearby were handy Thanks for an amazing stay

Beautiful place to stay in Santorini, where one can enjoy a quiet holiday with the beautiful island. George was very helpful with information to get around. Breakfast at the balcony on a fresh morning was truly enjoyable. Only advise is to have own transport as the public transport although not too difficult to manage, one cannot plan with accurate timing and crucial travel ie. trip to airport, is better to use taxi.
