Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Marietta

Usually a great place to stay but this stay had numerous issues. Mostly loud, noisey guests in next room. I stayed in 205 and the guest in 207 were very loud until 2am. Also I used the washer/dryer for the first time in more than 4 stays at this motel. The washer is $2 per load, but cheated me on one load and the dryer is $1.25 per load. But took 5 times to dry one load of wet laundry! There are two food vending machines in lobby and both were out of service.

Elevator was out of order after we came back from dinner, so had to walk up and down three flights of stairs. All the other second and third story guests were not happy as well. Had to ask for shampoos and lotions as they were not stocked. Hair dryer sounded like it was shorting out so unplugged it for fear of electrocution. Carpet was in dire need of shampooing. The bed was comfortable and the coffee was good. What’s with all the bad carbs that are being offered for breakfast?

Good price.p Safe well lit parking lot. Easy check in. Small basic room (with a 32 inch TV. Bed was comfortable! Nice shower. No problems

Easy to park and clean

Nice place to stay in Marietta. No pool but that was okay for us. Would definitely recommend and will stay there the next time we are in Marietta. It was the best one we have stayed in there in Marietta

Don't understand why I need to unlock the electricity in my hotel room (with key). Also, the faucet in the bathtub leaks.

Was nice place to stay. Had coffee all the time and lemon water. Both were refreshing after along drive. Room was clean and efficient for our stay. Would stay there again.

Self-parking was good with plenty of spots and away from the busy street.

Need a electric car charging station.

Always a comfortable stay at a good price. I typically stay here on my trip between north eastern OH and TN. Entire property is always clean and very nice breakfast. It's my go to place in that area.

This hotel had great reviews and after staying I’m not sure how. There was mold in the bathroom all over the ceiling above the shower, trash in the closets, stains on the bedding, stains on the walls, and stains on the chairs. The carpet was in similar condition with multiple stains and damp spots. The room was non smoking yet smelled like cigarettes badly when we got there. With the condition of the property, the bugs were not a suprise but still not what we were expecting. I would recomend staying literally anywhere else.

Every room should be checked before a guest is allowed to go into the room. The bathroom was not fully cleaned, and the desk area was very dusty. The workers was very respectful inside the hotel. The carpet needs a touch up with cleaning.Not having a pool was a disappointment.

In the morning i found a bug in the bed

Hotel is good compared to others we have stayed at in the area. My Daughter goes to the University in Marietta, so it is convenient for my wife and I. This stay was a little lower level than previous stays, it was raining and we could hear water dripping in the interior wall. Also some mold in the bathroom, probably from the leak. My daughter and son-in-law also booked a different room and complained there were ants. Overall stay was ok just some minor annoyances.

I arrived really late. Just needed it to be an overnight because I was on a road trip so I just needed to rest. Now I’m not a smoker and I was automatically put into a room that smelled like cigarettes as soon as I walked in my first room. So I asked to be moved to another room. That had ants in the bathroom.

I had to wait 12 minutes for the front desk person to show up to check me in. This was around 7 PM, not in the middle of the night. When she did finally appear she seemed bothered by my presence and didn't make me feel like a guest. Then she was missing from her post the rest of the night. We needed services but she was no where to be found. We called out to no avail. Perhaps a little bell or button to push to alert her of guests presence would help. The next day we had a problem with our toilet and when I told the new front desk person she asked me, "So, what do you want me to do about it?" Snarky tone, not how can I help tone. I asked her to let maintenance know and she looked at me like I was crazy. She told me they don't work on the weekend. I thought most of a hotel's business was on the weekend. They need to hire competent staff. Otherwise the stay was uneventful. Tiny rooms, but is a "Micro"-tel. The rooms were made to appear larger by an entire wall of mirrors. Not what I want to see when I first wake up. :-) It was clean and the elevator was fast. We didn't try the free breakfast because there is a Bob Evans right next door. It was nice to have the window seat available to set up our our suitcases on. There is a mini fridge in the room which is nice touch as well. Would stay there again if it wasn't for the staff.

Terrible stay due to people in the neighboring room watching loud action movies late into the night forcing us to switch rooms at 2:30 AM. This was the only thing that kept me from giving the hotel a 5 star rating. The room I moved to was very quiet. The hotel was very clean and updated throughout and located in an ideal spot with lots of food and shopping nearby. I had requested a room on the top floor at the end of a hallway in hopes of a quiet stay and they granted my request. All encounters with staff was excellent, even when I asked to change rooms due to the noise. I was very pleased with everything under the hotels control and would stay again.

Had difficulty operating the TV, or guess I should say the TV remote. Beds are getting too high for me with my short legs - almost need a step stool to get in bed.

Clean and quiet. A little outdated, lights were florescent bulbs, no usb ports in the room. But satisfactory for a 1 night stay!

OK, why did I rate my stay terrible but everything else I rated excellent? It’s simple. This property is fantastic. It is convenient clean and comfortable. The staff is very friendly. However last night I had a party going on in the room next to me. It lasted all night. Did I alert the front desk? No because in my experience that typically makes it worse so I just dealt with it but when I say it lasted all night, I mean it lasted all night so that ruined my trip and it did not give me any rest. I do not hold it against the property and I will stay there again .

the beds were too high off the ground.

Walls are kind of thin could hear baby crying and someone sneezing but if your air or heat is running it helps drown noise out.

The room was very clean and fast wifi. The breakfast bar was so-so. We liked the coffee machine which offered various strength levels.

My wife and I typically stay in Hilton brand chains due to the convenience of using heir app and typically can find one that is priced similar to others. I selected this hotel because it was quite reasonably priced and rated even higher than the neighboring Hampton Inn. But I would say this location was not up to the typical Hilton property. The facility was pretty dated. In this day and age of needing several outlets for charing devices, ect there were no convenient outlets near the bed for that or using a USB powered humidifier my wife needed. that was bad enough we went to a drug storm and bought extension chords and power strips. Breakfast was not up to what we have found in other brands. But at least was clean and priced better than some.

The location is perfectly placed for our return trip from Myrtle Beach. Restaurants are close by as are gas stations. Also on this visit our tv was not working and the night staff quickly upgraded us to another room.

The lady who checked us out was mean she was busy reading and when I asked about a receipt she seemed impatient.

They went above and beyond to make our stay a wonderful experience. Thanks to all, but especially to Kim and Jason.

upon arrival, we felt like we were inconveniencing staff. No personality. Called and asked for additional pillow. Response was "We don't have any". Bed was a double not a queen as advertised. Location was difficult to find.

Night Staff was more interested in texting than assisting me.

Room was great, our tv didn’t work so they had no problem switching it quickly.

We enjoyed our stay. It was our first stay here, highly recommend, good price, great service, personable staff, let us choose our floor for our room. They called right after I left saying I left something in the room and I went right back. Will stay again for sure!

Very handy to find off the interstate. Easy drive to downtown Marietta and its' wonderful shops.

It was all good except the breakfast room was small and there wasn't any place for us to sit and eat breakfast so we checked out and went to a restuarant for breakfast. So much for the free breakfast!

Quiet, Fairly clean, adequate room. No frills. Breakfast was barely more than continental - no eggs or meats. Lousy coffee.

Check in was informative and easy. Room was nice and shower hot😊. Breakfast was great. Choice of breads, muffins, fresh cut up fruit was amazing.

This hotel advertised breakfast. I have Celiac and there was not one thing I could eat at their breakfast. Perhaps eggs being offered would be helpful to those of us who suffer with Celiac. I mentioned to both the breakfast server and front desk that I would like to leave a suggestion about this and both became VERY defensive and said they have nothing to do with it. It was a suggestion. I will not be staying here again because other hotels offer breakfast with eggs.
