We LOVED the location. Safeway right across the street is SO convenient. They were very prepared for us and it was so helpful. The pack and play was there waiting for us and everything. Although the beach isn't swimmable my kids still had a lot of fun. Loved running from the small waves and playing in the sand. They spent a lot of time collecting coral. My kids also loved the pool! It would be nice if there was like a snack shack type menu that was more affordable, the on site restaurant was out of our budget. We loved the location. Right in the middle to travel to all areas of the island easily. We unfortunately had a trip to the ER during our stay and that was close too. Nothing negative to say about the property. I love that it is on the ground floor. So easy to walk to and from the room/pool/beach. I felt comfortable with my kids going by themselves if we forgot something in the room. Beautiful condo. Will stay again.

This specific unit is in such a great spot, beachside view is top notch, close to the elevator, close to the pool, close to Oasis Restaurant, close to the beach. AC worked great. Very clean, Direct TV in all 3 rooms. Kitchen was stocked with all the utensils, pans, etc that you need to cook. Washer and Dryer worked well. I honestly have nothing bad to say about this place, it made our trip so stress free. We went down to the beach which takes about 1-2 minutes from the room to the beach, and that’s if you’re walking slow. When you get tired, sit on the balcony and watch the ocean or seals what lay right on the beach in front of this unit. I’d stay here again 100%

Stayed at this Condo for a 10 day holiday vacation, couldn't have asked for a nicer Condo that was centrally located for the many attractions of Kauai. The grounds were immaculate, with a beautiful pool and a top notch fitness center. The beach area is beautiful, a great place to unwind and soak up the Hawaiian sun. The Condo owner is very personable and is quick to answer all questions, so I give the whole resort a 5 plus rating!

We enjoyed the amenities such as the beautiful pools, 3 hot tubs, 2 slides, and on-site restaurant overlooking the beach. The location was excellent for day trips, (especially with kids) exploring the island's north & south coasts, beaches, caves, Waimea Canyon. The condo layout was great with the living area between the 2 sleeping areas. 3 bathrooms (plus 2 across the hallway) also helped for our group of 4 adults, 2 teens + 6 year old. Washer & dryer were a necessity that we appreciated having. There is A/C. Walk-out made for easy access to everything. Parking, check-in were all easy. Kids were well entertained with the pools, hot tubs and the slides, & the Koi pond. BBQs on site were used often. Ocean a very short walk away with lounge chairs available (& convenient for star gazing). Very short walk to Safeway. We were grateful for the cooler and beach chairs for our outings. Staff were great, as were communications & wonderful assistance to get us through our last day's wait for our red-eye flight. Wishes for a successful season ahead.

Upon arrival AC did not work. Tried to call phone # provided. No answer. Had to email numerous times back and forth. One email told me that it had been inspected before we arrived, and it worked. That told me they did not believe us. The next day maint arrived and had to flush the waterline twice to unplug it and get it to work. Slept first night w/no A/C. Even though their directions in the arrival e-mail said to "Feel free to call me if you have any questions or concerns" and even though I asked them (through e-mail) numerous times to call me, I never once received a phone call. There were no directions left for basic things, such as where do we dispose of trash, how do you unlock the stove top (had to google it). The shower pocket door will not stay closed. The shower head was black with mold. Was told in one email that coffee/creamer/sugar was provided in a starter pack, then was told in another e-mail, they don't provide anything. Had 1 cereal bowl, emailed and asked for more and received them two days later, but I needed to send them a pic of the 1 bowl so they could bring me matching bowls. They brought 4 bowls, they didn't match anyway and a Brita Pitcher, which we never asked for (assuming they had it on their notes that it needed a pitcher but had neglected to bring it before we arrived.). I hope the owner of this unit realizes the customer service this real estate company provides is subpar. Did not enjoy dealing with this while on vacation.

The condo is gorgeous The entry is large with a view of the koi pond and greenery. The unit was clean and designed well in a classy Hawaiian style. The unit was large. It is just like the pictures. I liked the first floor access. It was quicker than using elevators. The view was of lot of foliage, which was very restful. I never even got to the pool, as we were so busy!

Reviewer Comments: Our seventh stay at Waipouli and although the location is still great, the unit we rented showed it's age. The unit was clean but the carpets and chairs were stained and some of the chairs require restuffing. Appliances overall were good however stove top took forever to heat up and there was no stove top vent, so steam and odors filled the room. Beach chairs and toys in the room were great.

Waipouli is a great resort. Beautiful beach front location, nice pool, on-site restaurant, great staff, close to everything and nice amenities. The units are also really nice. We come multiple times a year and Tina’s units are amongst the best. There’s always an added touch and extra care that goes with staying with Tina and Dream Vacations Kauai. These units are super clean and have everything you a need for your home away from home stay. You can’t go wrong!

This luxury condo was exactly as described. We were especially looking for 2 master suites. The California King Heavenly Beds were fabulous! The location was perfect for us since we wanted to explore the island. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the beach right by the complex. Just beautiful, with manageable waves for adults. The grounds and pool for the complex appeared to be very well maintained.

Huge unit close to the entrance of the resort! Perfect spot to stay for our 10 days on Kauai, easy to get to both the north and south shores for different activities and the condo was a great place to relax when we needed a break. Grocery store across the street as well as restaurants and even a restaurant on site was all very convenient!

We had a lovely stay here! Everything was clean, beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped, and it was a great size for 4 adults and 3 little ones. Very helpful that there is a washing machine and great AC. The resort has good swimming options for little ones (family jacuzzi and wading pool), and the location is great for day trips to multiple incredible beaches. Nicely located next to good restaurants and a Safeway for home cooked meals too. Would definitely recommend and would be glad to return!

We had an absolutely AMAZING time staying at Waipouli Beach Resort and this unit was just about perfect for our family of four (kids ages 4 and 6). The kids had so much fun in the pool and on the water slides and we loved the fact that the unit was on the ground floor because we could easily step out the door every evening for sunset. The unit was well equipped with everything that we could have wanted and it was conveniently located pretty close to the front entrance so we didn't have a long way to haul our stuff every day. Waipouli Beach Resort is in the perfect location to go North or South to different beaches and activities on the Island and there is a Safeway and Shave Ice shop right across the street which was super handy for last minute food/treat items. The check in process was smooth and communication with the property manager was great. The only negative feedback that I have is that the pull out bed was uncomfortable. We would put the kids to bed in the by contrast very comfortable king bed in the bedroom and wouldn't want to move them so my husband and I took the pull out bed. If you need more than one bed perhaps consider looking for a two bedroom in this complex. Would I stay here again despite the uncomfortable pull out bed? Absolutely!

The location was excellent for day trips, (especially with kids) exploring the island's north & south coasts, beaches, caves, Waimea Canyon. The condo layout was great with the living area between the 2 sleeping areas. 3 bathrooms (plus 2 across the hallway) also helped for our group of 4 adults, 2 teens + 6 year old. Washer & dryer were a necessity that we appreciated having. There is A/C. Walk-out made for easy access to everything. Parking, check-in were all easy. We had a great stay here. The property was beautiful, well cared for, gorgeous pools and proximity to beach was incredible. We literally could walk just outside pool area and we were in the ocean! Greg, our contact, was extremely helpful. Any question that arose, he was quick to answer and give us more info. There was a little bit of issue with A/C but that was more about the island power fluctuations and not the VRBO. We liked being close to the grocery store since we cooked in the room. It was a very convenient location for going north or south. Highly recommend this rental.

Upon arrival AC did not work. Tried to call phone # provided. No answer. Had to email numerous times back and forth. One email told me that it had been inspected before we arrived, and it worked. That told me they did not believe us. The next day maint arrived and had to flush the waterline twice to unplug it and get it to work. Slept first night w/no A/C. Even though their directions in the arrival e-mail said to "Feel free to call me if you have any questions or concerns" and even though I asked them (through e-mail) numerous times to call me, I never once received a phone call. There were no directions left for basic things, such as where do we dispose of trash, how do you unlock the stove top (had to google it). The shower pocket door will not stay closed. The shower head was black with mold. Was told in one email that coffee/creamer/sugar was provided in a starter pack, then was told in another e-mail, they don't provide anything. Had 1 cereal bowl, emailed and asked for more and received them two days later, but I needed to send them a pic of the 1 bowl so they could bring me matching bowls. They brought 4 bowls, they didn't match anyway and a Brita Pitcher, which we never asked for (assuming they had it on their notes that it needed a pitcher but had neglected to bring it before we arrived.). I hope the owner of this unit realizes the customer service this real estate company provides is subpar. Did not enjoy dealing with this while on vacation.

Me and my friends stayed at condo D-104. The communication with the property management was very easy and response was immediate for questions prior to Kaua’i. Having an App to check in and learn about the condo was nice. The condo is at the front area (lobby) of the resort so it has easy access to the parking lot and short walk to the shopping center across the street plus being near the koi pond and pools. The resort has a large lobby but no crowds of checking in or hanging around so location of condo was ideal. The pictures are pretty much what you see in the condo except they have a countertop microwave. Having a washer and dryer was ideal and having 3 bathrooms and a lobby bathroom across the hall was more than enough for us girls getting ready. I would highly recommend staying here. Kapa’a is also ideal for short trips to Lihue airport/Costco/Walmart and easy day trips to other areas on the island.

At the end of the trip, we ad an emergency situation that Greg helped us help the rest of family. Much appreciated. We loved everything about our week at the Waipouli Beach Resort. Loved the location of the unit within the resort, but also it's location in charming Kapa'a Town. Really a perfect jumping off point for daily adventures anywhere on the island. The unit had everything we needed - even extra beach towels. The grocery store (Safeway) is right across the street and walkable - and Starbucks is next to Safeway. But there's a cuter local coffee shop a mile up the road in Kapa'a - Java Kai. Highly recommend all the restaurants in Kapa'a. We loved Fish Bar Deli so much we ate there twice. Along with the location, the Waipouli Property is beautiful. My seven-year-old loved the water slides and waterfalls at the pool. It never felt crowded and was walkable for my father who is disabled (and stayed in a different unit). The beach on property was pretty and easily accessible. The tradewinds the first week of March were strong, limiting our time in the pool. It rained nearly every morning but we never had a full day of rain. We'll recommend the Waipouli to friends visiting Kauai and definitely plan to stay there every time we visit the island.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 weeks on Kauai! The resort is in a great location next to many shopping centers, restaurants and beaches within walking distance. D104 made our stay extra special. Spacious for a family of 5 and had everything we needed, was clean and nicely decorated. The unit is the first room right off the lobby and parking lot which was very convenient with kids. Steps to the pool made it very easy and enjoyable for all of us! We would definitely stay here again on our next visit to Kauai. Mahalo!!

Beautiful, fun place to stay with a family. First floor was great as my teenagers could walk to and from the pool. Everyone enjoyed the slides and hot tubs. Location is perfect being close to airport and halfway between Poipu and Princeville. Also, strip mall right across the street was perfect... breakfast at McDonald's or Starbucks, Safeway for groceries, shave ice and ice cream, and many places to eat or within walking distance. Highly recommend!

My wife and I celebrated our 20th anniversary here and had a blast. We loved the location because we planned activities in the North and South part of the island and this was just about in the middle. There are a lot of restaurants near by and a grocery store right across the street. If we visit the island again, I will look to stay in the same place.

Lovely spacious property! We had 8 people (4 adults and 4 teens) staying there- and never felt cramped at all. Well maintained - clean and convenient. The location of the resort is on the east side- and it’s more in town than some of the resorts in the south, but it’s super convenient especially with teens. There’s a Safeway across the street, and the coconut market with restaurants and shops are a 3 minute drive or a 29 minute walk away. It’s on the beach, and the beach at the resort is ok… but the east side is so convenient for all the best hikes, and being on the east side gives you access (not too far to drive) to some of the best beaches on the north OR south sides of the island. We had a fantastic time.
Lovely spacious property! We had 8 people (4 adults and 4 teens) staying there- and never felt cramped at all. Well maintained - clean and convenient. The location of the resort is on the east side- and it’s more in town than some of the resorts in the south, but it’s super convenient especially with teens. There’s a Safeway across the street, and the coconut market with restaurants and shops are a 3 minute drive or a 29 minute walk away. It’s on the beach, and the beach at the resort is ok… but the east side is so convenient for all the best hikes, and being on the east side gives you access (not too far to drive) to some of the best beaches on the north OR south sides of the island. We had a fantastic time.

The location was excellent for day trips, (especially with kids) exploring the island's north & south coasts, beaches, caves, Waimea Canyon. The condo layout was great with the living area between the 2 sleeping areas. 3 bathrooms (plus 2 across the hallway) also helped for our group of 4 adults, 2 teens + 6 year old. Washer & dryer were a necessity that we appreciated having. There is A/C. Walk-out made for easy access to everything. Parking, check-in were all easy. Kids were well entertained with the pools, hot tubs and the slides, & the Koi pond. BBQs on site were used often. Ocean a very short walk away with lounge chairs available (& convenient for star gazing). Very short walk to Safeway. We were grateful for the cooler and beach chairs for our outings. Staff were great, as were communications & wonderful assistance to get us through our last day's wait for our red-eye flight. Wishes for a successful season ahead.

We LOVED the location. Safeway right across the street is SO convenient. They were very prepared for us and it was so helpful. The pack and play was there waiting for us and everything. Although the beach isn't swimmable my kids still had a lot of fun. Loved running from the small waves and playing in the sand. They spent a lot of time collecting coral. My kids also loved the pool! It would be nice if there was like a snack shack type menu that was more affordable, the on site restaurant was out of our budget. We loved the location. Right in the middle to travel to all areas of the island easily. We unfortunately had a trip to the ER during our stay and that was close too. Nothing negative to say about the property. I love that it is on the ground floor. So easy to walk to and from the room/pool/beach. I felt comfortable with my kids going by themselves if we forgot something in the room. Beautiful condo. Will stay again.

We loved everything about our week at the Waipouli Beach Resort. Loved the location of the unit within the resort, but also it's location in charming Kapa'a Town. Really a perfect jumping off point for daily adventures anywhere on the island. The unit had everything we needed - even extra beach towels. The grocery store (Safeway) is right across the street and walkable - and Starbucks is next to Safeway. But there's a cuter local coffee shop a mile up the road in Kapa'a - Java Kai. Highly recommend all the restaurants in Kapa'a. We loved Fish Bar Deli so much we ate there twice. Along with the location, the Waipouli Property is beautiful. My seven-year-old loved the water slides and waterfalls at the pool. It never felt crowded and was walkable for my father who is disabled (and stayed in a different unit). The beach on property was pretty and easily accessible. The tradewinds the first week of March were strong, limiting our time in the pool. It rained nearly every morning but we never had a full day of rain. We'll recommend the Waipouli to friends visiting Kauai and definitely plan to stay there every time we visit the island.

This specific unit is in such a great spot, beachside view is top notch, close to the elevator, close to the pool, close to Oasis Restaurant, close to the beach. AC worked great. Very clean, Direct TV in all 3 rooms. Kitchen was stocked with all the utensils, pans, etc that you need to cook. Washer and Dryer worked well. I honestly have nothing bad to say about this place, it made our trip so stress free. We went down to the beach which takes about 1-2 minutes from the room to the beach, and that’s if you’re walking slow. When you get tired, sit on the balcony and watch the ocean or seals what lay right on the beach in front of this unit. I’d stay here again 100%

Huge unit close to the entrance of the resort! Perfect spot to stay for our 10 days on Kauai, easy to get to both the north and south shores for different activities and the condo was a great place to relax when we needed a break. Grocery store across the street as well as restaurants and even a restaurant on site was all very convenient!

It was nice to have a kitchen and a washer and dryer to use throughout the stay. The kids really enjoyed the pool area including the waterslides and lazy river. It was really convenient to have a Safeway across the street to grab some groceries, and there were also some excellent food trucks very close by as well. Kapaa is a cute town. It was a good location for our family that allowed us to easily explore both the north and south parts of the island.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 weeks on Kauai! The resort is in a great location next to many shopping centers, restaurants and beaches within walking distance. D104 made our stay extra special. Spacious for a family of 5 and had everything we needed, was clean and nicely decorated. The unit is the first room right off the lobby and parking lot which was very convenient with kids. Steps to the pool made it very easy and enjoyable for all of us! We would definitely stay here again on our next visit to Kauai. Mahalo!!

Beautiful, fun place to stay with a family. First floor was great as my teenagers could walk to and from the pool. Everyone enjoyed the slides and hot tubs. Location is perfect being close to airport and halfway between Poipu and Princeville. Also, strip mall right across the street was perfect... breakfast at McDonald's or Starbucks, Safeway for groceries, shave ice and ice cream, and many places to eat or within walking distance. Highly recommend!

We had the most relaxing stay. Beds were super comfortable and we were able to spread out, as there were 4 of us. Definitely would recommend. The Oasis restaurant in sight was delicious as well. The beaches were a bit rocky, but we saw a monk seal so that was exciting!

My wife and I celebrated our 20th anniversary here and had a blast. We loved the location because we planned activities in the North and South part of the island and this was just about in the middle. There are a lot of restaurants near by and a grocery store right across the street. If we visit the island again, I will look to stay in the same place.

My family really enjoyed this condo. The location was central to everything. We were very happy to find chairs, cooler, and other beach things in the closet. We had plenty of space and felt right at home. My daughters went in the ocean in the front of the place but just know it is a little rough.
