Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, New Orleans I-10 East, LA

Had a comfortable stay. Friendly staff. Spacious clean room. The gym and pool were out of order during my week's stay. Would have liked to use the pool. Good buffet breakfast but not enough variety for me though. I stayed without a car but found it easy to getbin and out of central New Orleans via public transport, bus stop is 5 minutes walk.

Repairs needed to building inside and out. The pictures that are on Expedia are not what the property looks like in person. Also Main elevator is out of order so you have to use a service elevator which is not in the best condition.

The phone in the room didn't work. The elevator didn't work. The ice machine didn't work.

Elevator broken

None of the ice machines worked. That’s our only complaint. Overall it’s a great facility.

Booked the room because it had a pool, which was the reason for me coming there. Get to the hotel and the pool not working, the ice machine wasn’t working, the pop machine was out of order, the elevator wasn’t working it was all bad. I will never booked this hotel AGAIN.

No ice maker, no pool, rooms are very old, no bathroom went, refrigerator was not working. Last day power outage in my room. Stay was very terrible.

No pool as advertised, out dated. Staff was nice, breakfast was not so bad.

Staff was very professional Breakfast was okay , coffee was unlimited. The laundry are could do with an upgrade The pool was clean Very Spacious Lobby with areas to sit and relax. The rooms are also spacious Microwave/ Refrigerator in room Ice was free

Breakfast on weekdays were small muffins and a bowl of fruit, so do not plan on real breakfast. There is no indoor pool and the fitness center is not usable. We had issues with the sink in our room and when we got moved to another room we had different issues with the sink and there was no lock on the door. Staff was friendly and helpful, but overall it was underwhelming.

There were literal mushrooms growing from the carpet. Very unsanitary.

My non-verbal autistic son was laying on blood stained sheets. Ive reached out for a manager for days and cant seem to contact anyone. DO NOT stay here.

Lady at the front desk was really nice but we checked in and checked right back out. It was dirty. The entire hotel smelled like like weed including the room. It was not clean. The phones didn’t work, others working at the hotel Were not friendly.

The property is old and needs some repairing. Our toilet had stains in it. There was mold on the shower curtain. The room itself smelled moldy. The staff were very friendly to interact with, and I have no complaints about that. However, I opened my towel and there were stains in it as though it was still dirty.

Room could have been cleaner. The shower was not fully cleaned. We did find a live roach on the wall. The furniture was dated and stained.

Our check in was fine, and our room was fine at first glance. We checked in around 6pm and left a little earlier for 4th of July fireworks downtown. When we returned around 10pm a truck was in the parking lot setting off fireworks surrounded by guest cars for about 25 minutes. No one from Hotel staff did anything to stop them. We needed to use the pull out sofa but after removing the cushions and noticing how dirty the top of the pull out bed was our son slept directly on the couch in a sleeping bag he brought. Our sleep experience was fine. No noise or disruptions. However, we woke up to find an infestation of termites in the room, mainly the bathroom but also throughout the whole room. They were either dead or half alive on the floors, bathtub and window sills. After looking around the room we found what might be a nest in the corner of the room. We couldn’t take a shower because they were all over the tub. We approached the front desk and all they had to say was there was nothing they could do because management takes off on the weekends and cleaner (who was described as a Jamaican lady, as if that mattered somehow) doesn’t come until 8am. We decided to walk over to the breakfast area. It was 6:50am at this time. I tried opening the door which was shut. There was an employee in the breakfast area watching me struggle to open the door and eventually she screamed at me “we don’t open until 7!” Rolled her eyes and walked away. Front desk only made excuses for her behavior.

This hotel should not be listed on Hotels.com. The place is run down and the smell of mold permeates the place. People hang out in the parking lot nightly, so the area does nt feel safe. Curtains were torn and sagging from the rods. There wew what appeared to be insect droppings on the bed linens. I would like a refund.

Clogged sinks, dirty towels, smelly room

This place was horrible from the leaking molding lobby roof in the greeting hall to the smelly lobby. The room carpeting is disgusting to say the least. The place looked and smelled ghetto. Please don’t waste your time going.

We got into our room early, which was good. The tub had peeling paint in it, the faucet was hanging off and the bathroom was just not clean. The ice machines were not working the entire 3 days we were there! The morning of the second day we got up and went to breakfast and when we came back to shower and get ready for the day the water was not working. We called the front desk and the woman said “oh yeah” we have been trying to get in touch with you all morning to tell you that there is scheduled plumbing for your room. I told her that the water in the so was unhooked which means someone came into my room without permission. She said we had to move rooms. This was not convenient because we had somewhere to be and didn’t have the time to move rooms and take showers.

Got the suite it was a great stay for me and my kids

I mean for what you pay, I was more upset that I didn’t pay more to stay somewhere better but the breakfast was really good! Only reason why I am not giving 1 star. Our bed covers had brown staining on it on the bottom corner. The shower pressure is really good, however, the water would flood so we had to take the cover out and it’s pretty nasty in there. The bathroom wall had some dirty stuff on there too. The hotel is pretty dingy looking, so it doesn’t help it wasn’t clean. We experienced very loud and obnoxious noises on certain nights, we were located by the elevator, so although it was close and convenient, it was pretty noisy at night. Front staff was really nice, and even the cleaning staff.

The ice machines were not working. The wi-fi did not connect with my computer. The afternoon front desk worker had a major negative attitude.

I’m sorry to say that I can’t recommend this hotel. The location was great but the hotel needs major work. Our bathtub had the fsucey an inch out of the wall and o couldn’t get cold water, so showers were pretty hot. The sink was ok though..(?) my husband did ok with the bed but I woke up with a backache each morning. At the front desk, they said, if your room isn’t good, I’ll switch you. I thought that was odd u til my friend ran into trouble and had to change rooms 3 times. 1st room- toilet broken. Next 2 rooms, Thea/C was screeching. Generally, it’s run down. Breakfast was not too good- not much variety and the cooked food didn’t smell good. We asked for nearby food and got a list of restaurants with phone numbers only. We found a number of good places just beyond the freeway overpass, but none of those were listed.

We had problems accessing our room twice, and ended up in a room where the bathroom door wouldn't close. The room was also ver humid, the floor was constantly wet. Staff was friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was good.

I enjoyed the friendly staff, clean/nice lobby, breakfast, and surrounding walkable areas. The only downside was the room had a strong moldy smell, the sink was outside the bathroom, there wasn’t a doorknob on my bathroom door nor a lock so it was just a hole, and only one light fixture worked over the sink. We had to put tissue in the hole and towels to hold the door shut.

Rooms smelled terribly of mildew. Everything in the room felt wet to the touch. Everything was rusted and old. Room was very small and sink was not in the bathroom. Beds were incredibly hard and blankets were very thin and worn.

The good… The staff was amazing, location was nice, pricing is fair, and the hotel was neat and tidy. The bad…. Our bathroom door was not in the greatest shape and had to be lifted to keep from scraping the floor and making all kinds of noise. The air conditioner unit was so noisy and the thermostat not very trustworthy. One minute you are freezing and the next you are sweating. I would stay there again, but would not stay in the same room of course.

Bad, musty smells and trash in the hallways. Bug found in the bed. Horrible communication and service. No hot water at all to shower in the morning. Dwayne at the front desk was rude and not helpful. He said it didn’t matter that our fridge didn’t work because we were only there for 2 days although a fridge was needed to store insulin. Never brought any clean towels or toilet paper as requested. Refrigerator and telephone were both broken. Could not even find anyone at the desk for most of the day. Very disappointed. Not what the pictures showed. Will never stay here again.

On my next visit to New Orleans this hotel will definitely be on the list of possible places to stay. My main reason for returning to the hotel would be all thanks to the amazing and phenomenal front desk staff. Rashaad was probably the best front desk clerk I have ever met in all of my years of traveling. He was welcoming, he made sure we felt comfortable upon check-in and also made sure that we knew great places to go check out to eat in the local community. He had such a genuine smile and energy. Also special kudos to Ms. Rebecca and Mr Corey for being helpful and engaging. The hotel is in the middle of a remodel so there are a few structural things but I know that Mr Corey the GM is working on getting those things fixed. If I have any complaints it was the lack of attention that the cleaning crew took to keeping the rooms clean. I had to request a cleaning of the bathroom and fresh towels from the front desk, the morning after we checked in. That matter was handled, but the cleaning team needs some work. The breakfast options were not super awesome but it was enough to be able to put something in our stomachs to get our day started. I did get to talk with the GM and other staff members about the few concerns that we had and they got things fixed for us as far as the cleaning quickly without any issue. Overall this day was great and again this location is definitely on the list for a second visit if nothing else just to feel that wonderful hospitality.

The lady that checked me in was great. Came in on the 4th and she was great nice .

Staff on checking in was not accommodating. Secondly, I have problems with remote in the room went back to the front desk and the guy seems like we were bothering him

Checked in, first room drains didn’t work properly. Had to move rooms and the only pleasant one was the maintenance man. No follow up from guest services. They text you and ask you do you need anything and never respond or get you the requested item. Saturday morning about 8am asked to have the room clean at the front desk, got back to room near midnight notching had been done. Called down to at-least get towels was told I had to come and get them. Overall, front desk was the worst, it was as if you was interrupting their rest period anytime you asked or needed anything.

Property looked rundown. Breakfast selection wasn't great. But on a great note...The staff was very friendly. Maintenance took care of my broken refrigerator very quickly. If I could give the staff higher than 5 stars, I would!!!

The first front counter assistant was very accommodating but the next day, the front counter assistant was rude. Guess the person had a bad day. TV was broke in the room. I was offered another room though, which was very thoughtful of the front counter assistant.

The property sits behind a waffle house so it has to see it from the street. The check-in process was very easy and quick.

Pretty good location but hotel needs work inside. My room had a mildew smell the entire time. I did enjoy the front desk staff who was very nice and helpful during my tw0-day stay there. Next time I would prefer to stay closer in the city because to get over to the French Quarters or downtown district it took my Husband and I a 20 to 25 minute drive.

I didn't particularly have a bad stay, the TV had next to no channels again nothing horribly wrong. This hotel has potential. They can use some upgrades and updates to the hotels as well as the rooms. My kids liked the breakfast for what it was. The proximity to downtown is also great I'm from the city so the location is the best. They were short on towels didn't have enough in my room. The staff helped me with that. $200+ a night not bad , but for this room it can be cheaper . Anytime my normal hotel isn't available this will still be my next choice.

I couldn't tell from the pictures that there was no carpet in the rooms, but that's not a deal-breaker for me. Front desk staff was superb every time we interacted! Convenient to Waffle House and Popeyes, easy access to I-10. Good value for the price.

It was a nice and quiet area. There is a Waffle House walking distance of the establishment. Quite convenient.

The lighting in the parking lot was poor. The facility is a little outdated.

Very disappointing stay. Major updates needed to the hotel. The area did not feel safe. Will not stay here again.

A great spot to stay! Only a quick drive from everything!!!

Very remote place

We arrived and got into our room with no problems, there was a sign that said their ice machine was down and was down the whole four days we were there. I went to the pool and it was dirty I understand it’s outside but you can tell nobody cleans it out. The breakfast was the same the whole days the only thing scramble eggs and sausage they switched out was the potatoes bites and biscuits. I messed my fitted sheets and they didn’t get me a new one they left the bed with just the mattress cover and just made the bed up. Our mini fridge froze our drinks and food after two days of being in the fridge. They didn’t clean our shower and shut down the elevator and didn’t let us know. The main floor always smelled like wet dog around 11am I guess after they mop the floors.

Hotel was a great stay. Breakfast was delicious!

I enjoyed the room, and the breakfast was really good everyday. The kitchen did great with presentation and all.

The staff were really friendly , professional and helpful , the hotel was good , clean but the only thing is the breakfast , we went down about 8 am when the buffet opened from 7 to 10 am and most of it were gone after one hour of opening and when i asked the service girl she said we out of most stuff, hope next time they provide full breakfast for the whole time

The property is located in a clean, safe area and is less than 20 minutes from the French Quarter. The hotel is very clean and they offer a complete hot breakfast.

This is a nice and convenient place to stay. Itis closer to downtown. Service needs to be looked at, many of the items in break fast were unavailable (Ran out of it for 2 days).

Do not stay at this hotel! First night there, no hot water, due to this I missed an early appointment because of only cold water and the weather was a bit cold outside. Second of all when I was able to shower, room 621 had no water pressure what so ever. The room smelled, and the bath tube had lots of patch work on it as there were so many white out cover ups, it was ridiculous. The breakfast bar had no eggs, guess it was too expensive for them to provide eggs. Last of all no one is on the same page, you get a different answer from anyone you speak to. Due to cold water the hotel only wants to give it's guest half off there stay. Not a place you want to stay.
