None of the ice machines worked, no free breakfast and they were limited on supplies in their little convenient store. The hotel keys kept going out had to keep getting new copies. The doctor in the rooms are a little dated and the bathroom didn't look so clean either.

The Staff was warm and friendly. Place was clean and the gym and pool great to unwind.

Hotel was clean and quiet. The staff was wonderful, friendly and helpful. The only gripe I have is because I chose this hotel because of the indoor pool and the pool was out of services the 3 days we were there. They should give notice about that. Otherwise this was a good place to stay.

The lobby is so cool, there's a bar, tv room, lounge chairs, and private nooks with monitors to watch tv. It was a great place for my friends and I to have coffee together in the mornings. They have a cafe that makes food to order which my friends said was good. Christian at the front desk was amazing. We had such a warm welcome, he was very professional, welcoming, and went above and beyond in his service. The rooms are spacious, and we loved the patio area. Even though I was there for work, it felt like such a nice getaway. Will definitely stay there again if I go back to Austin.

We really enjoyed the indoor pool

The good: Very helpful staff, easy freeway access, plenty of parking, indoor pool and well-stocked gym. The bad: Room was missing a remote to turn off the TV and it took a while to get a working replacement up to the room. Lumpy pillows. Very slow wifi. All in, plenty more plusses than minuses.

Property is nice but upkeep is bad. Both ice machines were broken while were there and the towel rack fell apart. Staff is well trained and helpful.

The A/C in the lobby and common area was not working and one of the elevators did not work.

Super great experience (like never elsewhere)! All the details below are based on my 2 months' stay in this place. The overall credit, beside the specific departments and names, is also driven by the executive management, Adrien and Donna, who really lead by example, going the extra mile of caring, friendliness and help all the time in any detail. The staff is also going the extra mile to accomdate every request, starting with Zoey front desk, gen managers (Adrien, Donna), Christian, Roger, Faith, Julian, Jared, everyone shows extra professionalism, amazing patience, friendliness, politeness, positivity, care and also being very prompt. Eddie, the barista, adds also positivity and charisma to the hotel, thus giving the vibe of a family. The housekeeping crew (Rebeca, Elena, Elieth, Isabela, Blanchis, Gracie, etc) does an outstanding work I never saw before in any hotel in the US or internationally (I traveled a lot), the room looks like "out of the factory" every day. Each room's spiff cleaning is post-checked daily by housekeeping managers Julia & Paulina do an excellent job. The rooms have very new and modern furniture, including the beds and linens. Maintenance also does a very prompt job. The hotel atmosphere is very warm and feels like a vacation (lobby with the bistro crowd, the indoor pool open until 11 pm). The view from top floors is great. The parking & surroundings are very safe, 2 security patrol every few minutes all night long. I strongly recommend this place!

stains on sofa, hair in sink

Nice clean environment. Lobby and rooms were nice. Air conditioning works great. No bedding in the room for the sofa bed, sofa bed was full of crumbs, we had to call down for it and pick it up ourselves. Next day had to pick up additional toilet paper the room was never restocked. Front desk staff was nice and professional. Easy access to the highway and everywhere we needed to get to.

Overall nice & indoor pool was clean. Bathroom towels were dirty when checked in. Quick fix the remainder of stay was great and beds were super comfy stayed 4 nights.

There’s some ants in my bathroom, and someone laughing around 1:00a.m outside of my room(my room is on first floor)which makes me feel unsafe, I strongly suggest that travelers select higher floor. Overall, this hotel is well maintained.

Noisy!! TVs and radios on all night. Delivery truck parked outside my window at 4am with diesel engine running and was still there when I left at 6:30 am.

None of the outlets worked near the bed to charge phones. It was only one outlet that worked so we had to take turns using it. The refrigerator didn’t work. We had to plug it into that one microwave didn’t work. We had to plug it into that one outlet, the beds were hard as rock. The bathroom body wash container was broken. BUT one thing we really liked was the Starbucks in the lobby.

The room is clean, very big and spacious. The beds are very comfortable. I wish it has a safe box, luckily I only stay for 1 night so its didn't affect me on this trip. I would not stay here again though because of the shower's door bad design. It open at the end of the Tub so to get to the shower valve to turn on the shower, The shower head is not moveable and its big so I would get very cold water on me while turning it on because the water doesn't get warm right away. They can solve this problem by install a moveable shower head.

A comfortable hotel in a central location with nice bedding and clean rooms. With our windows overlooking I35, it was a bit noisy during the night.

Great hotel but poor front desk staff attitude. They weren't attentive nor caring. Everything else was great. I recommend but hope you don't get the same front desk staff.

When I arrived to the hotel it was too early to check in but the service desk guaranteed I could check in after my concert and they had room 301 reserved for me. At 1230 at night I returned to the hotel and was informed that my room was given away. I was left at midnight with not a place to stay. The guy at the service desk could only offer an apology and a heads up that every hotel in the Austin area was also full so good luck finding a place to sleep. I was issued a refund but no extra hotel credit and trying to find a hotel last minute when I originally booked months in advance was impossible. I had to drive the 4 hours home after being out all day. I will never recommend Marriott or Expedia to anyone ever again!

Excellent customer service

We look for the Marriott brand wherever we travel. TJ at the front desk went out of her way to help get items we left in the room after checkout back to us, which was hugely helpful and much appreciated. The breakfast sandwiches at the Bistro were fresh and delicious. Beds were also super comfortable. Will look to stay here again when next in Austin.

Our reservation was cancelled without notifying either my friend or I. Had to search for a new hotel at 1/2am. My friend was in the hotel for several hours waiting for me to arrive so we could check in because they couldnt find her name. I was on the phone with someone about the reservation and was notified it was cancelled. I asked why and they said they were overbooked. So I asked, " so you cancelled our reservatiom so you could give it to someone else?" They hesitated and would not give me a straight yes or no. Once I arrived at the hotel, I asked how it was possible for our reservation to get cancelled and for them denying my friend to check in. I had called five days earlier to confirm the reservation and to add my friend's name. I even got an email for confirmation. The nice staff member tried again and found her name instantly. We were confused how his coworker couldnt do that 5 hours ago. My friend was in the hotel when someone cancelled our room. It was outrageous for them to cancel and not let her know so we could find a hotel ahead of time. Too much happened but this is the summary of our experience on March 1st.

Great day. Ty checked us in, and everyone made sure we had enough pillows and covers, and that it was clean and well-kept.

We waited for around 20 minutes to be checked in. The front desk staff was doing the change in the register, checking things off their checklist, and even on their phone but would not check us in. There were other customers waiting a long with us to be checked in as well. Another couple walked in and were helped immediately and only after they walked away and said they’d come back to pay did he offer to check me in. When we came back in for the night from dinner, we noticed a line of customers waiting to be checked in by the same person as he was walking around the lobby and completing other tasks instead.

easy to get in and out, Smoothie king is in same parking lot, but also close to toher places, movie theater, whataburger. 20 min drive to 6th street/congress

Good enough location to restaurants and highway

This hotel is located right off the highway, so there aren't many amenities nearby apart from a QuikTrip gas station. Getting to the hotel was a bit annoying due to the construction. However, the room was nice and tidy. I was disappointed that they didn't offer free continental breakfast and charged high prices for meals. The staff was very accommodating, allowing me to check in and out at flexible times without any extra charges, which I truly appreciated. The housekeeping service was a bit slow at times, but overall, it wasn't a major issue. Despite the shortcomings, I would consider staying here again.

Not enough staff at the breakfast bistro, long wait for food BUT… the food was very good when it came.

In the Expedia said breakfast is included but when i checked in they told i have to pay for it, thats look like false advertisement.

The breakfast was not was I expected

The hotel was updated and clean with a friendly staff. My only complaint was they advertised that breakfast was included, but breakfast had to be purchased at the hotel. Multiple couples/families came into the lobby surprised that there was no complimentary breakfast, as we were.

The hotel needs some renovation, the shower was outdated. The room was clean and the housekeeping lady was very nice, also Pamela at the front desk was very nice. I can’t say the same about the rest of the team at the front desk, they did not even say hello. Breakfast was very poor and Starbucks does not open in the mornings I am not sure why.

The website says the Bistro in the lobby opens at 6:30 yet the person working there said not until 7. The website should be updated to reflect that.

my stay was not as expected due to expedia website being out of date or just wrong, booking on expedia indicated a $5 charge for breakfast and that was inaccurate it was $13 and the burgers that were a main ad for the bistro was unavailable, complaint has been filed with marriot for the misrepresentation,
