Ameristar Casino Hotel Council Bluffs

The hotel was clean but it's tired, it's old and still smells of the days when they allowed smoking. It needs a refresh, it feels dark and depressingly quiet.

It is a great hotel and casino. The Sports bar was nice, the hotel was clean, and the casino had 3 levels with so many games available. The hotel suite was spacious. I do recommend that they pay more attention to cleaning the marble surfaces, as water/liquid spots are clearly seen. We liked everything about the suite except that there was no microwave. They provided ample towels for the room, including the whirpool and even gave little bath crystals to use. We enjoyed our stay and would come again.

The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. We would stay here again.

Although smoking isn’t allowed in the rooms, it is allowed in the casino and the smell permeated.

Clean room, excellent staff. We love this hotel and all the amenities that it offers. How ever Room # 526 is not a quiet room. There is apparently either equipment on the roof or in the next room that was very noisy and rumbled very loudly all night long. We have never had this happen before and have stayed here many times.
