We had an amazing stay at the hotel The manager Jean and his wife and chef George were all very accommodating Jean arranged a taxi transfer for us and a member of his team carried our cases to the hotel The complimentary breakfast was plentiful with a good selection We were given a small bottle of wine on arrival Our room on the ground floor was perfect located for outdoor dining and the pool area The location is perfect for a stay in Oia Near to all restaurants and the Blue domed churches and excellent views of the caldera We had an amazing week stay

We enjoyed our stay at Aethrio Sunset Village. The staff was extremely friendly. The breakfast was great. The location was perfect for checking out the shops and restaurants in Oio. The pool was relaxing after a day of shopping.

Great value!!! They were so accommodating letting us leave our bags before and after checking in and out. Beautiful hotel with very nice staff. Could enjoy the Oia sunset on their rooftop.

Aethrio was wonderful! Our room was apartment style, just near the pool. It was so clean and comfortable. There are 3 exits from the hotel which proved useful based on where we were walking to- one of them leads right onto the main area which was very convenient. The pool was lovely, though a bit deep in the shallow end. The views were stunning and the whole place was clean. I very highly recommend!

The room was very clean and large with air conditioning that was helpful for sleep during the evening. While I am used to sleeping on a larger bed I was able to get a good nights sleep each night we stayed here. The property has amazing views of the island, and we especially enjoyed the sunset views from the rooftop. I would 100% stay here again. The only caution I would give is that the ac was not very strong so while it was fine for us during our short stay as it was not very hot either day I am not sure how it would do on a much hotter day. The staff was incredibly helpful and informative - they gave us restaurant recommendations and helped us book a ride to the port on our last day. Overall highly recommend!

This is an amazing hotel to stay at in Santorini! Big shoutout to the lovely Foni and George who are super helpful and work hard to make your experience lovely. It's located in the heart of Oia and the hotel is like a peaceful oasis of calm away from the hustle and bustle of the busy streets! I loved the room we were in, a studio for 4 people, the views were amazing and the room was clean and spacious. The breakfast is so delicious-the daily fresh pastries, juice, eggs and fresh bread were lovely. Restaurants are plenty nearby and the iconic blue domes are only a 2-3 minute walk from one of the entrances. The pool is clean and very deep (2.6m at the deep side). I would suggest booking a transfer with the hotel (45 euros) as the porter helps with your bags and if it's your first time visiting Santorini you might not know which streets to go down. The biggest/most amazing factor of all is the sunset terrace! We stayed for the evenings to watch the gorgeous sunset fall over the town of Oia, there is also a dome (or 2) in the backdrop of the terrace view so you can have a mini photoshoot! Overall 10/10 experience! Thank you guys for making my birthday trip so memorable!!

The staff are extremely helpful and provide recommendations, local knowledge and assistance. This includes allowing you to use the facilities before and after you check-in to aid with flight times. The rooms are spacious with comfortable beds and a private kitchen. Plus, there is a great pool, daily breakfast and two balconies that provide beautiful sunset views so you don’t need to compete with the crowds at local beauty spots. Overall, I would recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Santorini.

Property is located in the heart of Oia, steps from the main walk with all the shops and restaurants. Grounds were spacious and beautiful, and built in the typical Greek style. Room was immense, actually a one bedroom apartment with separate bedroom, living area, kitchen and bathroom. Staff were friendly and helpful. And the large outdoor swimming pool was great in the summer heat. The only negatives were a tiny bathroom, and being located right next to a restaurant that has a singer singing until 11:30 on Thursday nights, which kept us awake. Otherwise, this was a perfect property.

Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were good. The whole place (rooms and common areas ) were all very very clean. And the location is perfect. But, Our room was just too small. The bathroom door hit the toilet. The shower was so small I felt like I was showering inside a sleeping bag. The bedroom was barely bigger than the bed, stubbed my toes many times. TV was tiny, tiny. We thought we purchased a full size room , but got the tiny tiny room.

Cet hôtel qui ressemble plus à un petit village est un véritable havre de paix au coeur d'Oia. Le personnel est toujours disponible, conseille sur les visites, les restaurants. A 1 minute des bus, de la caldeira. Les chambres sont très propres, les espaces communs très agréables.

Estuvimos en el Hotel por tres noches… desde que llegas la atención es muy cálida y amable! Nuestra habitación estaba impecablemente limpia, todo muy organizado.. el hotel en amplio, es como vivir en un pueblito griego. La ubicación es buenísima porque estás a menos de un minuto de la vía principal. La terraza del hotel es perfecta para ver el atardecer … los sitios están repleto pero an el hotel Todo es muy tranquilo! Volvería y los recomiendo sin dudarlo.

We’ve just returned from a fabulous week here. The hotel complex is idyllic, all freshly whitewashed, spotless and charming. The pool was a real bonus too. It sits right in the centre of Oia on top of all the lovely restaurants and shops. We stayed in a triple apartment. The beds were very comfortable but ours was only a double and pushed up to the wall. This could not be helped due to the small size of the upstairs bedroom, and still very charming, but something to bear in mind. The breakfasts were very good and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. If you want to stay in Oia, this hotel can not be beaten and I would highly recommend it.

ホテルは想像以上に可愛くて、お部屋も清潔で最高でした。徒歩圏内でイアを観てまわれ、フィラ行きのバス停へもアクセス良好です。屋上で朝日を見ることができました。夕日は海岸近くへ見にいきました。レストランやお土産屋さんもあちこちにあり、物価は高めですが最高なひと時を過ごすことができました。ホテルの朝食も美味しかったです。スタッフさんもフレンドリーでした。もう少し時間があったら、ホテルのプールでのんびりしたかったです。

The hotel is located in an area close to everything. It is nice and in good condition and clean. The breakfast is good with healthy food and the main thing to start the day is fruit, eggs, cheeses, yogurt, pastries, juices, and coffee. Our room was for three people. My husband, my son, and I were traveling to celebrate my 50th birthday. It was cozy. We had a terrace with a view of part of the ocean. The only detail I didn't like was that there was no hair conditioner and the shower needs to be cleaned more thoroughly. The rest of the room was very comfortable. As an Expidia VIP member, I received my wine and a 20% discount on drinks. At the reception, Angela was very helpful with information and was very friendly. I would gladly stay with you again if I had the opportunity. Thank you Aethrio Team!

Beautiful, clean, authentic Greek (Santorini) accommodations. Close walking distance to all main areas of Oia. Room was very big, with separate room, however beds were very uncomfortable (zero cushion). Cannot brink your own drink/beer (can) to the pool, only if you purchase from resort. Resort staff watched every move very closely.

Wonderful spot in the middle of Oia! Great great location to walk around and in the middle of shops and fantastic food. The property itself is very cute and the pool is a great place to cool down and relax. The morning breakfasts was delicious. Only negative to the place is the beds are hard.

Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were good. The whole place (rooms and common areas ) were all very very clean. And the location is perfect. But, Our room was just too small. The bathroom door hit the toilet. The shower was so small I felt like I was showering inside a sleeping bag. The bedroom was barely bigger than the bed, stubbed my toes many times. TV was tiny, tiny. We thought we purchased a full size room , but got the tiny tiny room.

We’ve just returned from a fabulous week here. The hotel complex is idyllic, all freshly whitewashed, spotless and charming. The pool was a real bonus too. It sits right in the centre of Oia on top of all the lovely restaurants and shops. We stayed in a triple apartment. The beds were very comfortable but ours was only a double and pushed up to the wall. This could not be helped due to the small size of the upstairs bedroom, and still very charming, but something to bear in mind. The breakfasts were very good and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. If you want to stay in Oia, this hotel can not be beaten and I would highly recommend it.

The room was very clean and large with air conditioning that was helpful for sleep during the evening. While I am used to sleeping on a larger bed I was able to get a good nights sleep each night we stayed here. The property has amazing views of the island, and we especially enjoyed the sunset views from the rooftop. I would 100% stay here again. The only caution I would give is that the ac was not very strong so while it was fine for us during our short stay as it was not very hot either day I am not sure how it would do on a much hotter day. This is an amazing hotel to stay at in Santorini! Big shoutout to the lovely Foni and George who are super helpful and work hard to make your experience lovely. It's located in the heart of Oia and the hotel is like a peaceful oasis of calm away from the hustle and bustle of the busy streets! I loved the room we were in, a studio for 4 people, the views were amazing and the room was clean and spacious. The breakfast is so delicious-the daily fresh pastries, juice, eggs and fresh bread were lovely. Restaurants are plenty nearby and the iconic blue domes are only a 2-3 minute walk from one of the entrances. The pool is clean and very deep (2.6m at the deep side). I would suggest booking a transfer with the hotel (45 euros) as the porter helps with your bags and if it's your first time visiting Santorini you might not know which streets to go down. The biggest/most amazing factor of all is the sunset terrace! We stayed for the evenings to watch the gorgeous sunset fall over the town of Oia, there is also a dome (or 2) in the backdrop of the terrace view so you can have a mini photoshoot! Overall 10/10 experience! Thank you guys for making my birthday trip so memorable!!

Room was immense, actually a one bedroom apartment with separate bedroom, living area, kitchen and bathroom. Staff were friendly and helpful. And the large outdoor swimming pool was great in the summer heat. The only negatives were a tiny bathroom, and being located right next to a restaurant that has a singer singing until 11:30 on Thursday nights, which kept us awake. Otherwise, this was a perfect property.

If your looking to stay in Santorini on a budget but also wanting to be in the thick of it with a pool this hotel couldn’t be anymore perfect. All the famous Santorini sights are minutes away walking distance from the hotel, the hotel grounds are very cute and well kept and it has a lovely pool area which is unusual for a hotel in central Oia. The hotel is also surrounded by lots of bars and restaurants. John on reception was an absolute gem, super helpful, gave us lots of recommendations and couldn’t do enough for you. The rooms are a little out dated in decor however it had a very Greek feel to it which was nice and the room and bathroom we had was huge. The hotel organised our transport from the hotel and they were there waiting for us on arrival even though our flight was slightly delayed. Highly recommend this hotel, I would definitely stay there again.

Although the property does not overlook the caldera, it is very centrally located. It is just off the main stretch and all the action but as soon as you step into the property, it is very quiet and homey. Staff are all very friendly. Breakfast offered was great and hit the spot for us in the morning.

ホテルは想像以上に可愛くて、お部屋も清潔で最高でした。徒歩圏内でイアを観てまわれ、フィラ行きのバス停へもアクセス良好です。屋上で朝日を見ることができました。夕日は海岸近くへ見にいきました。レストランやお土産屋さんもあちこちにあり、物価は高めですが最高なひと時を過ごすことができました。ホテルの朝食も美味しかったです。スタッフさんもフレンドリーでした。もう少し時間があったら、ホテルのプールでのんびりしたかったです。
ホテルは想像以上に可愛くて、お部屋も清潔で最高でした。徒歩圏内でイアを観てまわれ、フィラ行きのバス停へもアクセス良好です。屋上で朝日を見ることができました。夕日は海岸近くへ見にいきました。レストランやお土産屋さんもあちこちにあり、物価は高めですが最高なひと時を過ごすことができました。ホテルの朝食も美味しかったです。スタッフさんもフレンドリーでした。もう少し時間があったら、ホテルのプールでのんびりしたかったです。

This is an amazing hotel to stay at in Santorini! Big shoutout to the lovely Foni and George who are super helpful and work hard to make your experience lovely. It's located in the heart of Oia and the hotel is like a peaceful oasis of calm away from the hustle and bustle of the busy streets! I loved the room we were in, a studio for 4 people, the views were amazing and the room was clean and spacious. The breakfast is so delicious-the daily fresh pastries, juice, eggs and fresh bread were lovely. Restaurants are plenty nearby and the iconic blue domes are only a 2-3 minute walk from one of the entrances. The pool is clean and very deep (2.6m at the deep side). I would suggest booking a transfer with the hotel (45 euros) as the porter helps with your bags and if it's your first time visiting Santorini you might not know which streets to go down. The biggest/most amazing factor of all is the sunset terrace! We stayed for the evenings to watch the gorgeous sunset fall over the town of Oia, there is also a dome (or 2) in the backdrop of the terrace view so you can have a mini photoshoot! Overall 10/10 experience! Thank you guys for making my birthday trip so memorable!!

Hotel Aethrio is the perfect hotel in Santorini. Great rooms, friendly staff and an ideal location that is close to the island’s best views, attractions and restaurants. Based in the heart of Oia, it is just a 5 minute walk to the famous blue dome viewing point and is surrounded by independent eateries and local retailers. The staff are extremely helpful and provide recommendations, local knowledge and assistance. This includes allowing you to use the facilities before and after you check-in to aid with flight times. The rooms are spacious with comfortable beds and a private kitchen. Plus, there is a great pool, daily breakfast and two balconies that provide beautiful sunset views so you don’t need to compete with the crowds at local beauty spots. Overall, I would recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Santorini.

The location and service absolutely cannot be beat, hotel is truly in the center of Oia with easy access to all the gorgeous photo spots and has a private sunset balcony for guests. It exceeded all expectations.

Do not stay here - Very Disappointed for $400/night ⭐⭐ Stayed at Aethrio Sunset Village in Oia and it was not worth $400 per night. Beds are tiny and bad quality - our whole family's backs hurt. There is only ONE clothes iron to share between ALL guests, so you have to wait in line. Staff is uncooperative. They refused a towel for my catamaran saying "it's hotel policy" even though I was their guest. And there are too many instructions in the room - like you can't throw tissue in the toilet, you have to throw it in trash, clean yourself etc. It feels more like restrictions than hospitality. Much better to stay at  in Fira - outstanding breakfast, view, and Mr. Anil helped us immediately when Aethrio refused.

Amazing hotel with very kind and helpful staff. Spacious room, clean all over and a very nice pool. The location is perfect for Oia. They also have an amazing panoramic sunset terrace. I will recommend to chose to stay here for everyone.

Friendly and helpful staff, with a perfect central location in Oia. The hotel itself is peaceful and quiet, yet you can step straight out into the charming streets of Oia, with its restaurants, atmosphere, and iconic views. The room was spotless, and the whole hotel is beautifully designed in keeping with the traditional Greek style. It's a very pretty property with plenty of character. The breakfasts were excellent, with a good selection each morning and a great start to the day. There are plenty of restaurants nearby and, while dining out in Oia is expensive wherever you go, the restaurants recommended by reception were definitely worth it. While accommodation in Oia comes at a premium, we visited other areas of Santorini and felt they simply didn't have the same charm or atmosphere. One of the best things about this hotel is that you don't need to pay the very high prices charged by some of the cliffside hotels. Rather than paying over the odds for a caldera view, this hotel offers excellent value while still giving you easy access to everything that makes Oia special. The generous swimming pool is a real bonus, with plenty of sunbeds always available. The only minor point is that I would have preferred a proper double bed rather than two singles pushed together. However, I was still comfortable and didn't raise this with the hotel during my stay. Overall, a wonderful base for experiencing the magic of Oia and Santorini.
