Fairfield Inn by Marriott New York LaGuardia Airport/Flushing

We had an early flight and the shuttle did not run 24 hours so we had to take an Uber. Room and bed was very comfortable. Person at desk was pleasant but not particularly friendly and made no effort to assist in getting a luggage cart or helping get luggage to room even though my Mom had mobility limitations making handling all the luggage difficult for me. The person was not unfriendly, just not super helpful.

Great customer service, clean property, hotel had only 17 parking spot snd street parking was not looks like safe place to park the car

The website says Free Parking but there are only 16 parking spots for staff and guests. So be prepared to find your own street parking.

can't believe you only have 8 to 10 parking spaces. 1 handicap parking. people walking in the night with their luggage to the hotel. unacceptable. the clerks were very non emotional. will never stay there again.

Hotel very neat and clean, nicely maintained. My one issue is the $35 we had to pay for an Uber to go 3.5 miles because the hotels shuttle doesn’t start until 5AM. The description doesn’t state limited shuttle service.

Room was nice and cozy, there was a big tv which allowed you to connect to Netflix, YouTube and Amazon prime if you have an account. Hotel itself looks a bit aged, elevators take a while to come as I think there’s only one. Breakfast wasn’t really all that, they have simple breads, some type of egg and a sausage. Also cereal and oatmeal, not the best but it’ll do if you’re trying to save money. They also have a shuttle that takes you to and from the airport, but you have to call and let them know as the shuttle doesn’t just show up. Big plus is that there’s a bus station right outside the hotel it takes like a minute to walk to, hop on and it takes you to the nearest train station. Didn’t get a 5 star just due to the hotel’s appearance and the location of where it is, not too much to do unless you take a bus down to Main Street, breakfast wasn’t great, and snacks that they sell in the lobby are overpriced like most hotels, but the rate to stay was very affordable for New York!

It was fine for the weekend trip but the parking wasn't good.

This hotel is in a bad location. It doesn't have sufficient parking so you need to park on the street. The whole hotel (lobby, hallways, rooms) smell like smoke.

Hotel was ok. Elevator was not very fast. Also the elevator shook as it was going up and down. No restaurants in area and food fro hotel snack corner was really expensive.

Received no notice that you had to call to get picked up at LGA during the reservation process. Driver and front desk agent offered no apology after I waited at airport for 40 minutes before calling! No guest service in PM. AM staff was great! Proactive communication goes a long way folks. Al Wiles

The staff, facility cleanliness and free breakfast were excellent!

Stained carpets, dirty lobby, hair in our bed, hair in the sink, boogers wiped on the wall, chipped paint, overly strong smell of disinfectant cleaner - probably to mask musky smells

we did not use the airport shuttle due to the schedule not working with our flight cancellation and last minute booking - we would not have made it in time to the airport if we had to wait on the shuttle's schedule. The breakfast food was decent and the staff was attentive, but the space was so limited. The WORST part of our stay was how unclean the hotel and rooms were. The lobby has several leaks in the ceiling with buckets of dirty water in the pathway from reception to the elevator. When we got to the room, the temperature was extremely cold (thermostat read 62 degrees F). The duvets had black spots all over them on both beds, and there were black hairs under the duvets on the sheets. we requested a room change and showed the front desk photos of the issues. were given a new room, but again the sheets had hairs on them. We ended up spreading our own clothes over the pillows and and bed so we could catch some sleep. The bathroom was also not clean. There was urine on the back of the toilet seat and cover which we cleaned just so we could use it. Additionally, there was a black rim in the sink that you could see in the mirror reflection and finally, there was a lot of black in the bathtub grout/caulk. The towels were dingy looking but smelled clean.

Carpets need to vacuumed, even the hallways all the way into the rooms were dirty even staples left on carpets next to beds. Mold around sinks. Marriott needs to pay attention to this building with its name on it. Air conditioning is super noisy and room had musty smell. Staff not very friendly but it was a busy night. LGA had many flights cancelled. Not a good stay.

I like that the property is close to the airport. However, the room was DISGUSTING. The floors were filthy. They were sticky and damp and left a residue on our feet. The shower was broken. The water was either freezing cold or scalding hot. We could not get a mid temperature in order to shower comfortably. This is unacceptable for a Marriott property.

Thin walls could hear everything next door

Place was fine. Air conditioner was noisy. Kept me up. 2nd room, the window did not seal so every lithle noise outside could be heard

The bed and pillows were super comfortable! Everything was clean, the atmosphere was comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful. The elevator seemed to have a mind of it's own, so the wait was a bit long. This is a hotel very close to the airport, so naturally it is pretty noisy when the planes take off. The parking area provided was very small with no availability when we arrived, but we were able to parallel park along the side street without any issues. My friend and I only stayed for a single night and overall it was perfect for a quick place to sleep. Personally, I wouldn't mind staying at this property for a longer period of time if the need arrives.

I have stayed in this hotel several times due to its location. The rooms need to be updated. This experience wasn't great due to the loud AC and blinking light in my room.

Property needs to upgrade/remodel. Carpet, and bathroom tile needs to be replaced. Also, upgrade to shower only. Also, room needs more ports for the numerous electronic devices that people have now. Example: computer, tablets/iPad, IWatch, etc. The breakfast and afternoon snacks were good.

The room has a major mildew issue and the soundproofing from the airport noise is not sufficient.

The customer service was friendly and welcoming.

Not cooperative team members to solve clients problem. For example for early check they are cooperative enough to facilate the check in, there is attitude problem. I don't know why such a problem for fully paid client. Anyways, don't worry about it. Because we don't book you any more it won't be issue. There are high end hotels who go beyond and above their duty to help.

The facility was clean. Gal at the check in was a Dollie. Very friendly & answered all our questions. Breakfast was pleasant & this hotel had shuttle service to LaGuardia airport which was great.

The guy at the front desk was abrupt. He checked me in but did not give me the keys. He started chatting with another random guy.He said “ you can go”. I had to remind him about my keys. He gave a mean look and almost threw the keys at me and said “here it is.” Never apologized. I got a basement room. I asked if I can get a room in the upper level. He did not even check. He said abruptly “ no, we are booked up” it’s not worth spending 180 dollars on this hotel.

Folks at the front desk were exceptional. Drivers to LGA were exceptional. Rooms were great.

Efficient front desk team. Quick and easy check in. Obviously a very popular hotel as fully booked the night I stayed. Clean and comfortable bed. Staff were friendly.

The area is remote, but had easy access to public transportation

Stayed days. Area was quiet and transportation was accessible. There was a bus stop steps away from the front door. Staff friendly and helpful.

Convenient spot near LaGuardia as this hotel is fine for a quick night to stay if you flying out the next day. On time shuttle right to the airport. Easy taxi ride to Flushing for loads of food options.

They do not service the rooms everyday. It's not a big deal I just wasn't prepared. When they do service it you get two free bottles of water that's nice. Less than a short walk to catch the q65 to Main Street college point. Then take the seven Subway to the Mets game. Main Street college point was popping with restaurants and shops. A police academy across the street from the hotel puts a lot of cops in the area but also makes parking within a block nearly impossible. Although the hotel offers parking.

Overall the hotel was fine. I liked that they have a few onsite free parking spots. It’s in a very industrial neighborhood. A bit of a walk to get to restaurants. We stayed here for a baseball game and felt pretty safe to walk to and from Citi Field to avoid waiting for a ride share. The property itself is a tad outdated. Nothing major but the room smelled a little off and the aircon unit was VERY loud. Hotel was quiet otherwise. I think they were having an HVAC problem in the lobby because it was quite warm. Breakfast was free and yummy. One additional waffle maker would have been nice. The important things are that it was clean, the staff were nice and the bed was comfortable.

We were there for 3 nights. The facility had meager parking, location was in a warehouse district near airport. No walking distance restaurants nearby. Lighting in the area was poor. Rooms were clean and staff were polite.

The hotel is located near the La Guardia airport. The only downside is that there are very limited dining options around the area.

Perfectly acceptable airport motel, but absolutely in the middle of nowhere. Nowhere to go to eat, take a walk or be anywhere but in your room.

Location was good for what we needed. Very little parking in hotel lot. Had to search for parking on side streets. Breakfast area was overcrowded and difficult to navigate.

We came down from upstate New York for a celebration the breakfast was great turkey sausages eggs( scrambled omelet or boiled) Oatmeal cereal juice ,yogurt fruits. When I walked in the front door i smelt popcorn which was a special delight for the customers & some refreshing water .beds were comfortable staff polite not noisy at all they could use more parking space first come basics all other surrounding hotels won't see me ill be at the Fairfield

Stay was pleasant. Front desk receptionist very nice. Breakfast was good and the lobby always has lemonade, cookies and in the morning fruit. The drivers that take you to the airport are extremely courteous, polite and very helpful. Bus stop is right across the street. Convenient location!

The motel staff was very accommodating, the motel was safe, nicely priced and clean. My daughter loved their complimentary breakfast every morning.

Terrible. They clean the room every other day as a regular routine... even if you request a daily cleaning Breakfast only has nasty scrambled eggs and cereal. No fruit, no yougurt. Lots of bagels and englis muffins. Never again

The breakfast was not very good. The eggs were gross but the coffee was good.
