Nice staff and likes that there was a bar and restaurant inside.

I liked this hotel, but when I booked it I thought it was on the beach. It’s across from the beach, not an easy access. But it does have a bar.

THE BREAKFAST WAS EXTRA BUT IT WAS FRESH HOT AND DELICIOUS THEY WAS VERY FRIENDLY THE ROOMS ARE CLEAN AND NEAT CLEANING DONE DAILY WITH FRESH TOWELS I THOUGHT IT WAS VERY DISRESPECTFUL TO NOT HONOR VETERANS OR SENIOR CITIZEN THE ICE MACHINES ARE TORN UP THE OCEAN VIEW WAS NOISY WITH HIGHWAY TRAFFIC AND BIG TRUCKS

Nice pool and terrace area. Good breakfast buffet with good coffee!. Comfortable lobby sitting area.

Very clean hotel. Happy hour daily all you can eat breakfast buffet. Elevator needs to be Re done. But over all nice clean stay! Casinos near by was a walk in the park. Convenient location to the beach. Pool areas nice. Clean lobby and the water cucumbers, mint and strawberry flavor is a plus ICE COLD and refreshing. Let’s not forget them cookies at check in. Delish!

Ice machine not working on 8th floor. Info on refridge and microwave availability was not given at check-in. Staff was pleasant and courteous.

I stayed here because of was close to the Beau Rivage where I prefer to gamble. I paid $300/night and stayed two nights. The room didn't have a mini fridge, the wifi was barely accessible to the room, and there was blood or some other substance on the chair and wall by the bed. My wife was sick and the lady at the front desk was extremely rude when we asked for an extra hour check out so she could feel better. I personally will never stay at this hotel again but make your own decision. The pool was nice but we had to pay for breakfast each morning.

We have stayed on this property several times over the last few years and im sad to say it is going down hill. Double tree at one time was a beautiful, relaxing, accomodating place to stay but recently the amenities have gone away, $15 for a breakfast buffet that is 6 feet of very basic options, hot tub is broken so they drained it (very dangerous), in short you are no longer getting what you pay for. Economy maybe but my money is on greedy franchise and/or managment. Room was dirty, AC in room barely works, two drinks at the hitel bar cost us $50 +/- for short shot drink and a glass of barefoot wine. I will be taking my money elsewhere from now on and i would suggest you do the same.

The hotel was in a great location, but when we arrived our room wasn’t clean. We only had one roll of tissue in the bathroom. The pool and the pool area was not clean. I’ve stayed here before, but this time we weren’t pleased with our stay.

Our room had a musky odor and a strong fragrance from cleaning products and/or deodorizers trying to cover up the musky smell. Our carpet was visibly worn. This did not seem to be up to the standard I would expect from a Hilton Property.

It was horrible but I complained when I checked in and no one cared. The room was dated and filthy. It stank the furniture was dirty carpet was stained and had a stench. The shower was backing up and there was something splattered on the wall that looked like fecal matter. I will NEVER stay here again. It tainted what my expectations have always been for a Double tree. I have never had anything but a great experience in the past but this site was horrid. Guess I should’ve read the reviews. They were spot on. $300 down the drain for what I’d dub a seedy motel

Nice stay. Gulf view was beautiful! Room & hallways had a musty/old-wet carpet smell. Other than that the stay was great. The young man at the front desk on 9/22 & 9/23 was extremely helpful & very polite.

Property was unlocked past the time they said it would be. Never had to use my key to access lobby from outside. The room had been cleaned before we arrived but, it was not clean. Left used towels to get fresh clean towels. We had to go and get our own towels. For the price, very underwhelming.

Our room was not ready at 4pm like it was supposed to be. We had to wait a while and finally got in the room after 5pm. Chair was dirty and stained and hair in shower.

I am highly disappointed in Double tree as not only were the clean towels hanging over the rusted utility door that connected to the shower but the 8 floor we stayed on was not smelling good and we later was told that it had water damage and the fan in the hallway was drying the carpet! Insane then the ceiling on the 8th floor was not covered and wires were hanging low over the fan very unsatisfactory if I had known I would not have paid online in Advance and I requested a full refund and on top of that the front desk AA female was rude to a customer in the lobby raising her voice to him it was insane we got and still had almost an hour wait to get to our room because the host Laquetta I’m probably misspelling her name….anyway she said it was no towels ready I said how we drove almost five hours and still have to wait in the lobby yes this was not safe clean or comfortable Refund is Requested

Room was clean and there were no issues. Facility was well maintained and we had an excellent breakfast

The Staff was great. The building itself needs major repair and renovation. The walls in the elevator had cracks and holes. Plus just needed cleaning. The room was just OK. It could have used a major cleaning as well.

They need to shampoo the carpets lots of big spots all in the floor

I would not stay here again. I believe they treat this hotel with an understanding it’s for a room with a bed close to the nearest casinos knowing that it will be booked for that reason with little care for providing a great hotel to stay at. The carpets in the room were stained, all over the place, the barn door style bathroom door which now across the multitude of hotels was a terrible design choice, was also completely BROKEN. It would barely move to open, we had to use our strength to pick it up and scrape it open and closed a couple feet to go in and out. The furnishings were worn and old, the interior materials and finishing overall were cheap. For costing $300 for a night, you’d expect minimally a clean room with fully functional doors. I highly recommend choosing somewhere else.

For as expensive as the room was, the room couldhave had a fridge and microwave. The furniture was all scratched up

The air wasn't working in the room. However, the front desk clerk quickly switched our room out to another room.

No refrigerator in our room was very disappointing.

The bathroom barn door was hard to open and close.

Our stay was decent. The hotel itself was nice, and the staff was friendly. But i had a huge problem with not having a microwave and refrigerator in my room. I have never been to ANY hotel that didn't have them in myroom. That was so surprising, because I've been to DoubleTree hotels before and NEVER had that issue!!! And when i asked about them, the said the rooms facing the parking was the ones that had them for whatever reason 🙄 That is ridiculous. They said they would try to get them to my room, but my whole stay, i didn't receive them. I had to keep getting ice for my drinks and my food couldn't be warm each night! I really think that should be definitely changed or considered a different method. Overall hotel was nice, just weird because i never had that happen!!!

We waited in the lounge area for a while and walked back up to the check-in desk and people were lined up in three lines. We never received a phone call telling us our room was ready. Upon check-in, the girl took forever to get us our keys because many rooms still weren\'t ready, and it\'s well past time to check in. When we finally got our keys, which had room #905 written on the key packet, the keys wouldn\'t work, plus the room was not gulf-side as we had asked for when booking. I just happened to turn around and try one of the keys on room #906. It worked. We set up in room #906 and my wife went down to tell the girl about it so her records would be accurate. When she explained it, the girl responded in a very condescending way, "Do you need me to write 906 on it for you?" The girl, whom we failed to get her name, copped an immediate attitude with my wife. When we looked at the pictures of the rooms on the website, they showed a microwave oven present. Our room did not have one, nor did it have a refrigerator. During our stay, trash cans in hallways were overflowing and the night before we left, someone had dropped a cup of something that looked like custard on the floor, just outside of the elevator doors on the 9th floor. My wife reported it. This morning when we left, it was still there. Another guest that entered the elevator with us said he had reporte

There’s no free breakfast no microwave no refrigerator and no clock.. That’s very unusual for a Hilton.. The price I paid per night I feel those things should have been a given..

Front desk clerk was very rude, would not make eye contact and ignored my questions to rush me along.

Check in was terrible. We were not allowed to checkin until after 5:30 p.m. The reason we were given was (1) room was not ready, (2) linen was in the dryer, however, when the lady went off duty, the man coming on found us a room immediately. This was after several folks came in after we did & were assigned rooms immediately. We were also required to put up a refundable $50 deposit for theft or breakage. Has it been refunded? We nearly missed an offsite 6 p.m. appointment. All in all not a great experience. I am also a Hilton Honors member.

The staff was great and especially Briar who checked me in and got everything I needed and made the process very nice and professional.

The receptionist at the front desk was not friendly to us. We were not greeted liked other guest in front of us. The hair conditioner bottle in the shower was totally empty. I am not reconsidering to be there again. Amy

This was the worst experience that my family and I have ever encountered with a Hilton brand hotel! We checked in and was given a room with A/C issues so we instantly went back to the front desk to get another room. We were assigned a new room and thought that everything was good. However, in the middle of the night, a stranger had been given the room key to our room from the front desk and was coming into our room…which was UNACCEPTABLE and had me and my family highly pissed off and unable to sleep the rest of the night! This was the WORST stay that we have ever encountered and we will not be returning to this hotel!

This property was easy to get to and was also in the heart of everything happening on the golf. It is next to the highway, but I never heard anything while in my room. Great hotel.

I was amazed how clean the rooms were, but I think the food especially the breakfast buffet was a little expensive, when normally the breakfast is free with a lot of hotels. But overall, I would recommend to it to my friends.

Overall my stay was ok. I think 3 stars is generous. I don’t believe this property deserved a Very Good rating though. The bed made noise, my room was near the elevator and I could hear guests coming and going at all hours. It was a short trip and a last minute reservation, so I didn’t speak to management. I guess my biggest gripe was $15 for what I consider a continental breakfast where you make your own waffle.

The “breakfast” staff leave a lot to be desired. Be warned, you’re paying $15 for cold, dried eggs and potatoes, unripened fruit and it all gets served with an attitude.

Dining options were not up to par; food looked good, but atmosphere was poor and staffing was beyond inadequate. The rooms need a bit of updating, but were very clean. Front desk staff was very friendly. Beds were very comfortable.

It was out of date facility.. I was expecting more since it was beach front and pricey.. Patrons out dirty dishes and trash overage in the hall ways because there was no room service for cleaning.. I had to go to the front desk for towels because no one answered the phone.. hot water never lasted past 6 minutes.. television went out because of bad weather.. AND the “paid” $15 buffet breakfast was very limited and NOT worth the price.. NOT becoming of what I expect from Hilton affiliated property.. Only two outlets worked in my room and room did NOT have enough light..
