This hotel was absolutely lovely! It is only a short walk from the beach and there are many restaurants and shops around. There was music in the evening and dancing which was so fun! There is an indoor and outdoor pool that are open 9-6. The breakfast buffet had lots of options. The room was nice and clean. I would definitely stay there again next time I come to Malta

Hotel was excellent the staff we're pleasant and there was plenty of choices at meal time. Even the bar was reasonably priced. Over all really enjoyed our time at the Canifor and would definitely return thank you.

Gute Lage, prima Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber absolut ausreichend für unsere Bedürfnisse. Das"English Breakfast" ist gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber okay. Am besten fa den wir den Innen- und Außenpool und die tolle Lage. Das Personal an der Rezeption war nicht ganz so engagiert, aber alle anderen Mitarbeiter waren echt total nett hilfsbereit! Die Bar hat auf bis 1 Uhr nachts,was bei unserer späten Ankunft prima war.

Det var bra! Prisvärt. De städade dagligen om man frågade, kunde byta handdukar varje dag, poolen var bra, frukosten var bra om än lite liten, bra läge nära busstationen och Cafe del mar. Man kunde gå till mycket. Tyst och även om det inte var perfekt var vi väldigt nöjda för man får definitivt värde för pengarna.

This hotel may have been nice at one time but now it is quite run down and needs to be updated. The beds were dirty. The sheets were not clean and had hair in the bed. The beds were miserably uncomfortable. The bathroom sink was clogged and would not drain properly. Overall very disappointing. We ended up leaving although we had 2 remaining nights in our reservation that were not refundable.

Samler set et rigtig fint ophold her. Der står dog forkert info i forhold til check in. Der står det er muligt fra 2am, men det er først 2 pm. Dog kan man opbevare bagage, hvis man ankommer tidligere. Der var nogle udfordringer med airconditionanlægget og lyset på mit værelse. De forsøgte at fikse det, men det var ikke muligt, så de gav mig et nyt værelse, så det var helt fint. Dejligt de lyttede! Morgenmaden var lidt kedelig, men fin nok. Lidt hårde senge og rengøringen ikke den bedste, men heller ikke dårlig. Jeg var der i september og oplevede ingen larm eller støj. Så det var helt perfekt. Lokationen var super fin. Nemt til transport. Overordnet set et super ophold og rigtig godt til prisen.

Our first room smelled so bad on poison( later discovered that there's so many little bugs) tha we had to ask for another one. To their credit they did change it immediately. The room was old and outdated . No safe deposit box , horrible bed, bed sheet would have been frrom ww2 same with the pillows.Towels were old as well. The ceiling fan was shaking at low and high speed the air-conditioning wasn't cooling as it should but making a loud noise. Had full board paid but used it only once as i wasn't impressed(different taste maybe but some people were eating).don't know how it got rated 4 stars but this is definitely the worst hotel that we stayed in. Do not do the same mistake as i did thinking its a 4 star should be good.

Hotel was excellent the staff we're pleasant and there was plenty of choices at meal time. Even the bar was reasonably priced. Over all really enjoyed our time at the Canifor and would definitely return thank you.

Samler set et rigtig fint ophold her. Der står dog forkert info i forhold til check in. Der står det er muligt fra 2am, men det er først 2 pm. Dog kan man opbevare bagage, hvis man ankommer tidligere. Der var nogle udfordringer med airconditionanlægget og lyset på mit værelse. De forsøgte at fikse det, men det var ikke muligt, så de gav mig et nyt værelse, så det var helt fint. Dejligt de lyttede! Morgenmaden var lidt kedelig, men fin nok. Lidt hårde senge og rengøringen ikke den bedste, men heller ikke dårlig. Jeg var der i september og oplevede ingen larm eller støj. Så det var helt perfekt. Lokationen var super fin. Our stay at the canifor hotel was absolutely amazing. The staff is very helpful and the hotel was very clean and beautifully .I will go back again.Overall the hotel exceeded all our expectations we highly recomended

This hotel was absolutely lovely! It is only a short walk from the beach and there are many restaurants and shops around. There was music in the evening and dancing which was so fun! There is an indoor and outdoor pool that are open 9-6. The breakfast buffet had lots of options. The room was nice and clean. I would definitely stay there again next time I come to Malta

Gute Lage, prima Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber absolut ausreichend für unsere Bedürfnisse. Das"English Breakfast" ist gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber okay. Am besten fa den wir den Innen- und Außenpool und die tolle Lage. Das Personal an der Rezeption war nicht ganz so engagiert, aber alle anderen Mitarbeiter waren echt total nett hilfsbereit! Det var bra! Prisvärt. De städade dagligen om man frågade, kunde byta handdukar varje dag, poolen var bra, frukosten var bra om än lite liten, bra läge nära busstationen och Cafe del mar. Man kunde gå till mycket. Tyst och även om det inte var perfekt var vi väldigt nöjda för man får definitivt värde för pengarna.

Værelset var noget slidt og badeværelset var helt vådt efter hvert bad, sengene var derudover meget behagelige og det var lækkert med en balkon :) Morgenmaden var ikke just vores favorit, så vi spiste primært ude om morgenen. Mange pools men de lukkede alle klokken 18 😊

Frühstück nach 3 Tagen immer das gleiche. Pool ist dreckig und nicht gewartet, Duschen defekt. Zimmer hat auch eine Renovierung nötig, Klodeckel lose, Fernbedienung nur gegen Kaution, keine Erneuerung der Minibar, nur 1mal Tee und Kaffee. Würde nicht nochmal buchen und vor allem auch nicht für längere Zeit. Wohlfühlfaktor ist gleich null.

Overall, the hotel is more on par with a 3* rating. The most important aspect to mention was at 00:30 during the night (we stayed 1 night) a man entered the room, whilst we and my 5 year old were asleep - and once in, it woke me up and I was met with ' I am security' and when I said 'hello?!' the door closed. This was most frightening, as a solo-female traveller, with a young child. Additionally, in the room, the towels and bed sheets had holes in - and the bathroom sink was blocked. However, the room was clean. You do have to pay extra to obtain the TV remote, safe, and for tea/coffee etc. The pool was fine though the hotel rents rooms to large groups of teenagers and the pool was crowded with these therefore it wasn't very safe for my son to swim for long. I had booked half board - the breakfast was ok and included coffee; the dinner was very basic. You have to pay for the drinks at dinner - not even water was included. It was cheap and clean, however, I did not feel safe at night and for that, we will not be returning.
