The Comfort Inn Williamsport is a great place to stay while in the area. It’s centrally located off the highway with plentiful food, grocery and gas options a short walk from the hotel. Parking facilities are neat and tidy and some spots are covered which was a nice plus. Rooms were nice and beds very comfortable. Some furnishings were a bit worn but overall still very nice. The included breakfast was also great with fresh Waffles and many other options. My only complaint was that the pool was out of order during our stay.

When i asked the pool hours i was told at front desk most people dont use the pool bc its too cold. Later another employee also stated that i was brave to use the pool so i asked if heater was broken or didnt exist and i was told that it was never heated. I purposefully select hotels with pools and pay extra as i need the leg exercise when i travel. Its like they keep an unusable pool so they can charge more. Additionally the hotel did not feel safe as there were many people hanging out in and around the hotel that were not staying there. There were also propped opened doors.

Fabulous staff, fabulous room, loved the fitness center and the swimming pool. Fabulous location, grocery store and restaurants. Walking distance. Excellent stay all the way around we will be back.

Very friendly staff, clean, stocked room. Breakfast area clean as well as lobby. Only downfall was vending machines were out of order. Meaning no drinks or snacks readily accessable. Bottles of water at the desk would be wonderful. Will stay again!

Perfectly acceptable accommodations. Nice workout room, small indoor pool that’s sure to be a hit with young kids. Free breakfast is convenient, plenty of restaurant options nearby. Only complaint: In-room coffee is awful, but there’s a Sheetz right across the street to address that problem.

We have stayed at this Comfort Inn several times over the years, always booking remotely with no issues. At this visit 1/21-1/22 we discovered a significant amount of black mold in the bathroom and a filthy bathroom fan. When brought to the attention of the staff, they told us maintenance would be contacted after checkout and that they would do nothing to compensate us, due to our remote booking, despite having side effects of the mold and coughing all night. Very frustrated, and will not be staying again

We chose this as a stopover to break up the trip home. The beds were comfortable. We were afraid that it would be noisy because we were just off the lobby but it was quiet after a large family gathering dispersed about 10PM. It was reasonably clean but smelled musty and the carpet in the room and the tile in the bathroom could use a good steam cleaning. I honestly would not want a young child playing on it. The air-conditioner kept up and was not too noisy. The pool appeared nice but we did not use it. Breakfast was very good.

Looks a bit dumpy on the outside and located on main drag consisting only of cheap to moderate stores, eateries, etc. But inside, everything worked, the room was pleasant and roomy. Clean bathroom, good towels, HVAC worked perfectly and not too noisy. Breakfast as average. Overall, a good value and practical.

Had a nice but short stay. Front desk guy was great and very helpful. AC kept turning on and off during the night waking me up and no way to set to stay on steady. Other than that, it was a good place to stay and breakfast was good.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. I loved that the hotel is dog friendly. The beds were very comfortable and they give you lots of big soft pillows and plenty of blankets. I would stay here again when I’m traveling from Myrtle Beach, SC to Buffalo, NY again.

Raymond the hotel desk clerk, went above and beyond with recommendations for places to eat locally as well as the laundry room, and even the length of time that the machines ran. Raymond was a breath of fresh air who cares about his hotel and his job. He was amazing.

Routinely cleaned well. Only decaf for in room coffee maker. Microwave was hard to use with missing directions. Door lock did not close and lock very well, fixed after reporting. Most front desk people were great, third shift guy was sleeping on the job. Breakfast was better then expected!

This would have gotten all five stars except for an experience we had with the front desk. When we got to the hotel we had a room on the third floor. We told them we had two dogs and would need a room on the first floor. They were fine with that. The next day when we came back from being out, our keys did not work. We took them to the front desk and were told that we were supposed to tell them we had 2 dogs and that there was a fee. First of all, we did tell them when we checked in. We are used to the room fee because we travel with them all the time. That is why we changed our room. Second, they said this in front of other people in the hotel lobby, and it was very embarrassing for us. Third, one of our dogs does not bark. How did they know we had 2 dogs unless someone entered our room despite there being a Do Not Disturb sign on the door? This is very concerning. Fourth, there was no apology once they realized their mistake. This is just bad business.

This was a very pleasant stay. Our first night we arrived and spoke to Raymond at the front desk who was very helpful and kind. If you have any questions or concerns, the staff are there to help. I would highly recommend stopping here if you’re looking for an affordable stay. Water pressure was great. Breakfast had plenty of options. Beds were in fact not too firm as stated in other reviews.

A big shout-out to Tammy, Nancy and the very friendly and helpful staff of Williamsport's Comfort Inn for helping us when we were unexpectedly stranded in Williamsport during a big storm over the Christmas holidays. The service level of these staff was exceptional, and their friendliness and concern reduced our stress and definitely helped us get on our way within two days. We will definitely be staying with this hotel in Williamsport during our future trips.

Pros: The hotel was easy to get to and had lots to offer in the area. The front desk staff was very friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to understand. The breakfast offered was over-the-top! Cons: the hand railing and ladder going into the pool were loose. Cleaning staff entered our room even though we had not checked out-we were merely at the pool! The side of our sheet had a blood spot on it! It was right in plain view and bright red, so the cleaning staff should have seen it when making the bed.

Friendly, and professional staff. Rooms were clean, and spacious. The free breakfast was hands down the very best we had ever enjoyed. the only draw back were the drapes in our room. The drapes only closed the sheer ones, which are see-through at night when a light is on in the room. The heavy drapes could not be close. I find this very strange. Other then that it was the best hotel we stayed at on our four day trip.

The room was clean and the bed was really comfortable. The shower had good water pressure and the shower head worked great. The staff were very friendly. The breakfast included many good healthy options. Overall this was a very good value.

Our room and bathroom were perfect. My problem is with the employee in the breakfast. She came out of the kitchen/work area to assess the area with gloves. She went and pushed the trash down in the trash can. It was overflowed. Then with the same contaminated gloves on she rearranged the knives,forks and spoons in the holders. I am a nurse. I almost told her about it. I opened the food warmer. There was one portion of watered cold scrambled eggs and 3 pieces of watery cold canadian bacon. ( I think that is what it was). For what I paid for this room for one night, a decent breakfast should have been provided. We had nothing to eat.

We booked two rooms for one night. The first room we went into was dirty, dust every where, mirror had prints on it, bathroom wasn’t cleaned and it smelled like pot. The second room was fine, not clean, clean if you’re a germaphobe but ok. They quickly and nicely switched the dirty room. The replacement was the same as our second room, dust, prints on the mirror, floors not well cleaned, but livable for one night. Walking into the hotel everything looked fine, but the smell was terrible. It smelled like some sort of polyurethane or paint. The pool was ok, but the towels were stained and had black x’s and different marks on them which made me think they also were not cleaned well. The furniture in our room really needed a clean down, everything was sticky and there was something chunky on the dresser which was gross. The breakfast was fine, a traditional small continental breakfast. Over all it was fine for a night but if you are someone who wants your hotel to feel like no one was there before you this isn’t the place for you. We probably won’t be staying there again.

I stayed one night. Upon arrival I was greeted by a friendly front desk associate. Check in was a breeze. My room was clean and comfortable. This property is located in an area that has plenty of options for shopping and dining. It was well maintained and quiet. The hot breakfast was well stocked and good. I would definitely stay again.
