Tempus Hotel

Employees still friendly though check in/out system has been outdated or not maintained for a while. The entire hotel seems not operated well and going to shut soon ( uncertain) because all hardware is either damped or not cleaned for a while (even parking/AC/shower/etc). If you just stay for short time and not going to enjoy the facility, it’s still a good choice. Read Google Maps comments for more info before you decide.

Above average breakfast; good selection however at this price point, it’s below average Good to have large family rooms with two king/queen size beds, however you can see the furnitures are dated Our fridge was plugged in but does not get cold at all, we notified the front desk after checkout. Interesting robot bartender in the lobby; you will need to pay cash to the front desk and he/she will come over to help operate. If this can be self operated with wireless credit card payment, it would probably have more patrons. We left the do not disturb sign at the door; however still found the room made up. Limited parking spaces, on a busy day, they do not guaranteed a parking spaces. There are other paid parking nearby, but it’s just a bit more hassel.

WiFi was not stable & quite poor

Dusty room, listing had a hot tub but it was a spa you had to pay for. They had a play area for the kids which is why we picked the hotel, but the main attraction ( motorized cars” was closed due to “maintenance issues”( i.e. the batteries caught fire) no hand soap so if you wanted to wash your hands at the sink you needed to first go into the shower to grab soap from the dispenser.

It’s my first time seeing a five-star hotel without a gym. When I asked, they just said it was under maintenance and didn’t provide any alternative solution. Honestly, that’s unacceptable.
