Nice place on the way down. We were lucky and had no problems. But, no staff most of the time, and room entry required 7 digit key code which was hard to enter in the dark at night. Without cell phone, entry impossible. Hot tub/spa closed or did not work. Room had large shower but no bathtub. You could hear it when neighbor showered. Nice courtyard to sit in but no one picked up if guests (or staff) left something. An empty beer can remained on a table in the outdoor common area for our entire stay.

Charming sitting area outside. Ice machine wasn't working. Odd system for obtaining passcodes, but it worked out. Walkable to restaurants if you're willing to cross 89A. So happy to find this affordable little gem at the last minute.

Shower rod all rusty. Shoe marks on ceiling. Bed fell apart when sat on.Yavapai county health department had a sign on gate that shut down hot tub since March ..3 months it hasn't been rectified. I had reached out to staff member via phonecall...as no one is onsite... to elevate issues and instructed for management to call me, they never called. Not impressed. Furthermore,requested floor level for handicapped, received a room on top floor. Had to fix that through phone calls. Ridiculous. Will not stay there again.

The ice maker was out of service awaiting parts which had been disclosed in an email so we brought our own ice. Everything else was in good working order. We were apprehensive about no on site staff, but everything we needed was provided. Email instructions were clear and complete.

No management on site. Needed to call to get a door code to open room. Saw a women leave without staying after being frustrated with access to room. Cleaning crew was onsite when we arrived and was throwing towels and room bedding over the railings to the ground. Grounds all around the property were dirty and covered in leaves. Stairs to second level rooms were very rusty and looked unsafe. Room smelled moldy and musty and bathroom countertop was dirty.

The hot tub wasn’t open and that would’ve been great to know.

I had trouble w the door code. It took several attempts to get through to someone to get it resolved. Room needed some maintenance. But seemed clean. Bed was ok. Hot tub was closed but from reading previous reviews that was expected. It was very convenient location. Parking was good.

This hotel says it has a 24 hour front desk.... it is virtual and worthless. Ice machine broken with no help to get fixed even when requested twice, spa closed even though it was serviced, one robe in room when it was booked for two. Very disappointing.

I like the idea of the lock pin code. I like that it's hidden. The property is in need of severe upkeep and repair. Ice machine not functional, spa was filthy and green, Needs to be landscaped. You can't see the sign at night because it's not illuminated and there are bushes surrounding it. Property needs to be cleaned up. Need a ceiling fan in the main room and an exhaust fan in the bathroom. Etc

I recently stayed at this hotel and wanted to share my experience. One of the standout features of this hotel is its great location. It is conveniently walkable to a health food market and a variety of delicious restaurants, making it easy to enjoy local culinary offerings. Additionally, the parking lot is safe and easily accessible, which was a definite plus for our stay. However, I did encounter a few drawbacks during my visit. The bed was a bit too soft for my personal comfort, which made it challenging to get a good night's sleep. I also would have appreciated having a hot water kettle in the room for convenience. Unfortunately, the noise from the female neighbors next door was quite disruptive, making it difficult to relax and sleep peacefully at times. On a positive note, I was pleased to find the bathroom was clean and well-maintained, which greatly added to the overall comfort of our stay. Lastly, I want to extend my appreciation to the staff for their prompt communication regarding our check-in details. Their professionalism and efficiency were commendable. Overall, while there were a few aspects that could be improved, the hotel's location and cleanliness made it a satisfactory experience. I would recommend it for those looking to explore the area, with the hope that noise issues may be addressed in the future.

Place is a sham. Nothing like the pictures. We didn't stay. Was refused a refund by Expedia. Disputing. It with my credit card company. Don't stay here if you value your life. No one is there to help you. All done over the phone by third party.

We did not even stay. The room wreaked of cleaning agents making it difficult to breath. I would not put my bare feet in the shower, the toilet looked like it was stuck to the floor with 10 year old used chewing gum. My wife refused to stay there so we left and drove home 2+ hours after having dinner. This place is a dump. I asked for a refund but was told no There was no one there for checkin, it took me 10 minutes to get a room code from some remote agent that I had to call twice. What a joke. If I were hotels.com I would not even offer this property in search results.

So much trash on the front door and under the bed. The conexión for charge the phone is so bad. The carpet smell bad.

Parking was easy and self-check in was easy as well. Unfortunately within 45 mins of checking in, we discovered roaches in our room and vacated immediately to stay elsewhere.

Walking on the carpet turned my bare feet black.

I had to scan my ideas and I have no idea how my information was shared or secured. Based on my experience I doubt the rave reviews about cleanliness are legitimate. This feels more like a 1-star motel than an inn.

The room met my expectations. It was very clean. A.positive for me was that it is a small motel and not on the main road. Grocery stores and restaurants are in the area. Easy to get to some of the rred rock formations.

What an absolute nightmare of a place. Avoid at all costs! Arrived, nobody on site and didn't have wifi to access door code. When we eventually did get access, upon opening the room door, the smell of chemicals was so overpowering it triggered my asthma. We waited 45 minutes with the door open and fans on trying to get rid of the smell. It didn't work as after waiting 45 minutes, upon entering the room it triggered another asthma attack. We had no choice but to seek an alternate accommodation. WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY...! With nobody on site we couldn't discuss the situation with anyone and were told online it was a non refundable room. DISGUSTED.

Just a few amenities in the room. No cups or coffee machine. No mention of fridge. AC was very loud. Floors were creaky. We stayed on first floor. Our ceiling creaked all the night. The noises were not just from AC and ceiling. There were other weird sounds happening every few minutes. We couldn't sleep at all during the two nights we stayed.

The room was clean, the fridge was cold. One bed was broken, room light didn’t work, ice machine broken, TV didn’t work. No staff on premises and completely unresponsive to texts. No fan in bathroom and window screwed shut due to evidence of suspected break in. This is a $59/nt motel and had I paid that I would not be complaining. At over $200/nt it is absolutely unacceptable.

Location is good, but the hotel itself is basically like a roadside motel. Bed was fairly comfortable, which was a bonus, but everything else was old, cheap and done on a dime.

The virtual kiosk was new, but it was okay. Definitely takes a bit longer, but not too bad. The location was fantastic, hot tub was warm and clean. The room: the bed was absolutely terrible! We booked 2 rooms and both beds sunk in at the center and were so uncomfortable! There were also dirty towels in one of the closets. Otherwise, it was fairly clean. Can definitely use some upgrades.

My rating was okay primarily because the walls between units were very thin. You could hear muffled talking and television sets. If you are on the first floor, you can hear the people above you walking and putting stuff on the floor. With some soundproofing, would be a very good place. Also, chairs in rooms are kind of flimsy and uncomfortable.

The beds are so stiff! Cardboard like. I just needed to rest for a few hours and I couldn’t even sleep, my body hurt so bad in the morning. But the views are incredible and the area is nice.

The reception and room had an extreme amount of overwhelming airfreshner which made it difficult to breath. The bed mattress was worn out and one sank into a hole in the middle of the bed making it impossible to sleep. We serious considered sleeping on the floor or just leaving on the first night.

It reminded me of a broke college dorm room/studio apartment. The rooms are bare, not a single decoration on the walls. There's a small refrigerator and partially broken microwave in the corner, the carpet is sticky, and it smelled. I went to whole foods nearby to get some aroma therapy spray to put on my pillows to offset the stinch... it didn't work well but I managed. Basically, it was like stepping back in time to my ex boyfriends apartment. Next time, I'll just pay the extra $100 for a nicer hotel.

We’ve stayed here before but this time, the overall stay was below what we experienced last time. In the bathroom, the shower head and window were both broken. The shower sprayed water all over the floor every time we used it. We had to use all our towels to dry it every time. The window was broken and hard to open and no fan, so everything in the bath got soaked every time we showered. The carpet had little metal pieces all over it. The fitted sheet wouldn’t stay on and kept falling off when we sat or laid on the bed.

The facility is tired. The stairs accessing the upstairs are pretty rusted. The room was clean though. The bed not super comfortable, but very firm which is better than too soft. Extra pillows would be very nice. The table in the room had a broken leg, but we were able to prop it up fine. The check in process was great. Very easy. it would be nice to have a shorter Combo to get in the rooms.

The check in was somewhat disorganized and when I arrived at the hotel, one customer in the parking lot, who was checking in that day, had issues trying to contact the hotel on how to access their unit. The phone number that they give in the Expedia app message was different than the phone number that I actually talked to the lady to help me get instructions with. And when I left another customer had issues at 8 PM unable to get inside their, room that they rented because the hotel didn't contact them at all and did not provide them with check in instructions. When the whole hotel contacted me, I had to call twice to understand when I would get my actual instructions to enter the room, which they said they'd only send instructions at 1pm If check in is at 3pm but this was never communicated to me beforehand.

Response time from office to get room number and code to get in door.- I left voice mail, no return call. When I called back, someone answered this time and said I would get a text at 1 o’clock. No text. I called back at 2:17 and they said that they would be sending out the text with the info for the 3 PM check-in. I mentioned I was told I would get something at 1 PM and why couldn’t they just give me the info over the phone so I would feel secure that I did in fact have a room. I was given the info over the phone. Eventually I did also get a text before 3. It was just too much confusion in getting the info

This place is a complete joke. They have some sort of online system to check in. They send you an email that says to call a certain number to provide a CC# for deposit, and you get the code for your room. We made the reservation at about 1pm, and called the first time around 3pm. Nobody answered, left a message. Around 3:30, called again, same thing, no answer, left a message. Around 4:30, we are wanting to check in, so we call again, no answer. Go to the property. Nobody is there, but it has other numbers to try on the door. Call and text all those, no answers. Finally around 5:30, we give up, book another property, and leave. Expedia was super helpful, and tried calling as well about 2 times, no answer. So they started to process a refund. They try one more time, and this time someone picks up. Berates me and the Expedia person that we never tried calling, blah, blah. Somehow blames Expedia about how their online check in doesnt work because Expedia sent some email? Went from 0-100 in crazysauce in a heartbeat. And then the best part was that the property sent us the door code to get into a room at 2:45AM the next morning. Dunno about you all, but I always wait to get into my hotel rooms till about 3 in the mornin.

Quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of downtown. Uses a virtual person to check in. Sound quality was poor making it difficult to understand the agent. Lost all sound and was transferred to another agent.

Great location, accessible and close to all the sights in Sedona. There is no office staff; Expedia needs to make check-in process more clear, that a text won't arrive until the day of check-in letting you know your room # and door code. It's disconcerting to be waiting for it, not knowing that's the process. First-floor room was a little noisy in terms of upstairs footsteps, and outside noise. It would be nice if they would repair/replace the cushions on the porch swing which would otherwise be nice to sit on.

Smooth check-in and check-out process, it’s all contactless so there’s no need to worry about getting info from a receptionist (there isn’t one but they do respond by phone call promptly). They will send your room details to your phone number right before it’s time to check-in. The location is in a prime spot of Sedona, closely located to almost everything you can imagine! The room was good, the shower water was hot, and there’s a small fridge and microwave to use in the room, as well as a TV! I’ll be staying here again on my next trip to Sedona. Easy and affordable!!

Good small inn located only 6 minutes from uptown Sedona. Very close to many hikes and sightseeing spots. I was here for 6 days and used less than 1/3 tank of gas going out daily for hiking, work, and shopping.

Was in a rundown area. Did not feel safe. Did not stay, just ate the cost.

We wanted a quick getaway for some hiking over the holidays - needed an affordable, clean, safe and quiet place to sleep and clean up between hitting the trails. Baby Quail Inn was just what we were looking for. The room and property had everything we needed. Nice and close to restaurants, trails and a grocery store. Had a jacuzzi but was closed for maintenance, not a big deal. Had a cute courtyard and plenty of parking. Easy code entry made check in and out really seamless. Very pleased!

The online photos of this property are flat out false advertising! The spa was closed by the county health department In March, there was crusty dried old food under the bed. no local tv or cable channels - previous guests roku information was visible. The dumpster outside was overflowing and because if you want your room cleaned you'll have to schedule that within a very short window and if you don't "we aren't responsible for anything". (easier to do it yourself) Forget about the advertised breakfast "we don't serve breakfast of any kind!!!" The grounds are messy and generally unkept. The lighting fixtures are paper and stapled to the walls with the switches zip tied to a "shelf" next to the bed. And the smell... the odor of cleaning (I'm hoping) disinfectant was so strong we had to air the room for an hour before being able to stand it. The towel bar in the bathroom was completely missing, ( you get one small towel per person for the duration of your stay) the bathroom window was broken - and would not stay on its track - the curtains in the bathroom were 3" too short for the window. Everything in the room is dated, old and not in good condition. Worst possible outcome for the money spent. (note the night we checked in the rates online were reduced by a 1/3 of what I paid.

Hi. This is a virtual check-in hotel. The customer is suppose to get an email with the door code, etc. I didn't. I called and texted repeatedly. I waited for 45 minutes. Their website says: USB plugs. There weren't any. It says: Free Breakfast. Nope. It says: Cable TV. Another nope. It says: Hot Tub. No. See second picture. I couldn't get the internet to work. Room was fine, bed not terrible. Better than sleeping in the car.
