Very much enjoyed the stay here. Very friendly team - sent welcome and check in messages. We should have taken advantage of their offer of help as the hotel is not easy to find but it has a fantastic location. Small but very comfortable room and excellent breakfast.

Our stay at Hotel Vestibule Palace was excellent. There are two sites: the main hotel, inside the walls of the old palace, and Villa Dobric, just outside the walls of the palace.

Wonderful property ideally located inside the castle walls. Room was spotless and very comfortable with an incredible breakfast included each day. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed exploring the city from this location as well as used it as a base for a number of day trips. If you plan to have a car, be sure to contact the hotel ahead of time to arrange for parking, since the hotel is in a pedestrian only area. Would definitely recommend this hotel!

We really enjoyed our time at Hotel Vestibul, but it was much too short. In spite of our short stay, the staff was immensely helpful in assisting with complicated transfers prior to our arrival. The private driver company they work with is top-notch, and went above and beyond. Once at the fabulous small hotel, we were warmly welcomed to the perfect location and fabulous accommodations. The reception staff personally carried our bags up the hotel, as well as to our rooms. The breakfast was phenomenal. Definitely will return.

The manager called as we were driving from the airport and talked to our driver to make sure that we were dropped off at the right place. He then walked us through the old town to where we were staying, explaining the history and how to find the other hotel building. Our room itself was excellent - good air conditioning, a very comfortable bed and a warm, powerful shower. The hotel breakfasts were anazing - a lovely platter of fruit and cheese and a wide menu to choose from. Thank you - a great stay in a lovely city.

He then walked us through the old town to where we were staying, explaining the history and how to find the other hotel building. Our room itself was excellent - good air conditioning, a very comfortable bed and a warm, powerful shower. The hotel breakfasts were anazing - a lovely platter of fruit and cheese and a wide menu to choose from. Thank you - a great stay in a lovely city.

The location could not be more perfect, within the palace walls. Staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful and made parking simple and straightforward, even though it is in a pedestrian zone in the busiest part of the city. Breakfast is wonderful and delicious!

We were at the villas for two nights, and I sure wish it could have been longer! They arranged a car for us from the airport, and since vehicles aren’t allowed in Old Town, they sent two people to take our luggage to our rooms. From start to finish, the service was outstanding. They suggested excellent restaurants, organized a tour of the Palace and Old Town, and packed a delicious lunch for us when we went to Plitvice for the day. Make sure to request Tonci for a tour … he is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and gave us a familiarity with the area that was so helpful in making the most of our stay. Highly, highly recommend.

We had a spectacular stay at the Vestibule Palace hotel. Imagine coming into a hotel through a 1720 year old entrance. Truly an unmatched experience. The service wonderful, the room clean and comfortable, the breakfast setting and food excellent. The attention to detail, unmatched.

A beautiful property in the heart of the old Roman city. Staff were especially kind and helpful. The room was spacious and extremely comfortable with room clean daily. Only issue was the noise from the restaurant in the evening. The noise travels through the stairwell and I had to call the front desk to request ‘quiet please’ at 11:45PM

Hotel was a great location in the old town. Staff were fantastic and helpful. Breakfast was great. The air con didn’t work efficiently so unfortunately a couple of uncomfortable nights. We did mention to staff and they provided a fan. We stayed in the Villa annex which was good, the staff walked us there with our bags and it was a nice walk to the hotel for breakfast.

The hotel is well-located near Diocletian's Vestibule in the heart of the old town. The staff was warm and friendly, and very helpful. We had to depart early in the morning, and they offered to pack a breakfast bag for us. They also provided us with directions to our destination. We loved our room, which was bright and airy. The breakfasts were delicious. We would highly recommend staying there.

We were at the villas for two nights, and I sure wish it could have been longer! They arranged a car for us from the airport, and since vehicles aren’t allowed in Old Town, they sent two people to take our luggage to our rooms. From start to finish, the service was outstanding. They suggested excellent restaurants, organized a tour of the Palace and Old Town, and packed a delicious lunch for us when we went to Plitvice for the day. Make sure to request Tonci for a tour … he is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and gave us a familiarity with the area that was so helpful in making the most of our stay. Highly, highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay here in this amazing location right in the heart of the old Palace. Ivan was absolutely wonderful and helpful when my taxi driver dropped me off in the wrong location and went above and beyond to help me get to the hotel after a very long day.

We had to depart early in the morning, and they offered to pack a breakfast bag for us. They also provided us with directions to our destination. We loved our room, which was bright and airy. The breakfasts were delicious. We would highly recommend staying there.

The location could not be more perfect, within the palace walls. Staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful and made parking simple and straightforward, even though it is in a pedestrian zone in the busiest part of the city. Breakfast is wonderful and delicious!

Very much enjoyed the stay here. Very friendly team - sent welcome and check in messages. We should have taken advantage of their offer of help as the hotel is not easy to find but it has a fantastic location. Small but very comfortable room and excellent breakfast.

We had a spectacular stay at the Vestibule Palace hotel. Imagine coming into a hotel through a 1720 year old entrance. Truly an unmatched experience. The service wonderful, the room clean and comfortable, the breakfast setting and food excellent. The attention to detail, unmatched.

We really enjoyed our time at Hotel Vestibul, but it was much too short. In spite of our short stay, the staff was immensely helpful in assisting with complicated transfers prior to our arrival. The private driver company they work with is top-notch, and went above and beyond. Once at the fabulous small hotel, we were warmly welcomed to the perfect location and fabulous accommodations. The reception staff personally carried our bags up the hotel, as well as to our rooms. The breakfast was phenomenal. Definitely will return.

The manager called as we were driving from the airport and talked to our driver to make sure that we were dropped off at the right place. He then walked us through the old town to where we were staying, explaining the history and how to find the other hotel building. Great location, beautiful room and exceptional customer service. We went to the wrong section of the hotel, so they organised to have our, rather heavy, bags taken to our room. We had dinner at the hotel’s restaurant and sat outside in the beautiful courtyard. The food was delicious and our waiter, Moreno, was absolutely lovely and he had incredible knowledge of Croatia - which was fascinating to hear. Moreno also served us breakfast the next morning and his customer service is exceptional, other guests beside us also commented the same - he is definitely an asset to the hotel. He made us feel so welcome and our stay a memorable one.

We had a fantastic couple of nights at Villa Dobric from 2-4 Aug. Ivan and Kate were both absolutely wonderful hosts - full of helpful tips and info - they honestly couldn’t have been more helpful and were a credit to the hotel. Breakfast was very relaxed and just right - we were extremely grateful that gluten free bread options were provided. Our two mezzanine rooms, on the top floor, suited us really well as a family of four with older teenage girls who were happy to have their own space. Overall, a brilliant base to explore from, right in the heart of the old town. Also, many thanks to the hotel for accommodating our request to leave our bags for a few hours, a week after our stay, while we travelled back through Split from Hvar en route to the airport.
