The hotel has refurbished rooms but is otherwise not in the best of shape and looks very dated. The restaurant was drafty and there was only one menu. The personnel was very nice, and a one-night stay for the relatively low price acceptable. Not recommended for a longer stay.

The bed was very small, and the mattress was uncomfortable and uneven. There were only two small, poor-quality pillows. The room was extremely hot, and the corridors had an unpleasant smell. The service was disappointing — we had to argue to get the parking spot that was promised at the time of booking. Upon checkout, in the rain, no umbrella or assistance was offered. They also did not seem open to hearing our feedback at the end of our stay.

Die Hotelanlage mit viel Holz gefällt mir. Der Grundriss der Häuser mit Zimmern und die Umgebung fand ich stimmig konzipiert. Die grossräumige Bar/Aufenthalts- und Restauration gefiel mir. Es war schön für mich, dass viele Familien mit Kindern da waren, das war lebendiger "Hintergrund" zu meinem Hotelaufenthalt. Das Frühstücksbuffet war gut präsentiert mit feinen Produkten. Regionale Produkte (Konfi, Käse, ev. Brot würden es positiv aufwerten, ev. waren solche Proudkte wenig deutlich markiert

Bel environnement au calme. Bon petit déjeuner avec des produits frais et locaux, excellente confiture fait maison. Cependant manque de reapprovisionnement, pas de charcuterie et pas de verre pour le jus de fruits à 8h du matin, personnel absent arrive à 9h. Ménage dans les chambres et sur la terrasse succincts.

Séjour convenable dans un lieu qui tient plus de l’accueil de groupes que d’un hôtel, même si la chambre est spacieuse et avec un coin salon fort appréciable. Literie ok, mais draps avec des trous, serviettes de toilette effilochées, joints de douche à refaire urgemment tant ils sont noircis… pour un 3 étoiles, nous nous attendions à mieux. Le restaurant n’a pas de carte et propose un seul menu, basique. Petit déjeuner ok par contre, le choix et la qualité sont là, à part pour les fruits. Et l’aspirateur en plein petit déjeuner dans l’espace salon attenant avec ensuite le lavage du sol à la javel, c’est vraiment à proscrire!!

Upon arriving at the property, the guest is met with filthy condition very much unlike what appears in pictures on the site, and in a general state of sad disrepair. The rooms are of hostel not hotel quality. Within minutes of arriving there, it became very clear that I couldn't stay there, and that even though we had prepaid for the reservation and it was not cancelable, I would definitely risk forfeiting my deposit in order to avoid staying there. I immediately began looking for another hotel.

Bon hôtel de passage, avec des prix raisonnables pour la Suisse. Petite remarque, pour un séjour hors saison. Je n'ai croisé personne. Arrivé à 19h40 et reparti le lendemain à 9h, pas de check in ni Check out. C'est très impersonnel. Même si le tout était prêt (clefs et enveloppe d'accueil dans la boite à lettres), ça manque un peu de personnalité. J'ai conscience que nous sommes en intersaison, mais ça reste un peu dommage. Pour le reste, c'est ok. Le petit Dej est bien ainsi que la propreté générale.

Not a good experience, stay away. We travelled with our small kid and the lady at reception declined our request to do a bit earlier checkin although we could find out that the rooms were ready at that time, she wasn't kind enough and was continuously on the phone while we waited at reception. Room has no tea/coffee facility, dark inside and a broken chair. Would never book this again.

Bin in der Schweiz noch nie so unfreundlich und unambitioniert behandelt worden. Die Zimmer sind dunkel und sehr hellhörig. Alles in allem eine Atmosphäre wie an deutscher Autobahnraststätte.

Bel environnement au calme. Bon petit déjeuner avec des produits frais et locaux, excellente confiture fait maison. Cependant manque de reapprovisionnement, pas de charcuterie et pas de verre pour le jus de fruits à 8h du matin, personnel absent arrive à 9h. Ménage dans les chambres et sur la terrasse succincts.

Séjour convenable dans un lieu qui tient plus de l’accueil de groupes que d’un hôtel, même si la chambre est spacieuse et avec un coin salon fort appréciable. Literie ok, mais draps avec des trous, serviettes de toilette effilochées, joints de douche à refaire urgemment tant ils sont noircis… pour un 3 étoiles, nous nous attendions à mieux. Le restaurant n’a pas de carte et propose un seul menu, basique. Petit déjeuner ok par contre, le choix et la qualité sont là, à part pour les fruits. Et l’aspirateur en plein petit déjeuner dans l’espace salon attenant avec ensuite le lavage du sol à la javel, c’est vraiment à proscrire!!

Room was average for a single room and felt cozy. Only comment is you can request it, but there is so kettle and hot drinks options in the room. No extras apart from a basic hairdryer. Would return again if in the area, but knowing its basic and pricey for what you get

The bed was very small, and the mattress was uncomfortable and uneven. There were only two small, poor-quality pillows. The room was extremely hot, and the corridors had an unpleasant smell. The service was disappointing — we had to argue to get the parking spot that was promised at the time of booking. Upon checkout, in the rain, no umbrella or assistance was offered. They also did not seem open to hearing our feedback at the end of our stay.
