This stay was very fun. The room we stayed in had a 60's vibe. The kitchen area was excellent and very clean. the whole place was well maintained. We and other guests enjoyed the fire pit that has a great seating area . The one thing I wished was different was the shag carpet. Even though it was recently shampooed, its still old.

Cute facility with rustic decor. Atmosphere and hosts very welcoming. Rooms nicely decorated. Lots of hummingbirds outside your window. Great for families. Outdoor grill and seating area available. Short drive to town. Lots of hiking available.

This is the first time I have ever experienced a remote check-in. Make a reservation, pay online, get a code to get in the room, Take the trash out when you leave. Never saw a soul. Guess It is a good thing we didn't need any service. Room was small and dated, no AC but at that altitude it wasn't uncomfortable. Electrical outlets were scarce and not strategically located.

Checkin is contactless. No key or card just a 4 digit code they text to you just before checkin time. That was good for me because I had a late arrival. Ease to find the place. The town offers a free transit service that picks up and drops off at the lodge. Pets are welcome with a single fee for the stay. Overall it was a very nice place.

The place was dirty. The microwave had coffee that was never cleaned up. The room was very dusty. Caked on dust on the base boards, etc . , The sheets had hair and bed spread. No coffee cups we borrowed some from another unit. Wish I could get my money bsck

We ended up up finding a completely different place to stay. This olace was not clean. There were spider webs over the entrance door. The room smelled horrible. Massive air fresheners were being used to cover up the stench. So much so that you could not breathe because of the overpowering flowery over dog poop smell. The carpet was totally worn and the floor into the bathroom was sagging when you stepped into the room. This was an upstairs unit which is fine. However worn out tread and carpet make it extremely unsafe for people going up and down with luggage. I was horrified at the condition and shocked. The host seemed to be very nice. The unit also had no AC which would have been fine there was a fan I saw after I asked about the AC. But just no way on the lack of cleanliness. We had to search frantically to find another location.

We were very disappointed in the cleanliness and condition of the hotel, which started with the unlevel stairs, old furniture in the walkway and 1970’s dirty shag carpet. We left after the first night leaving the payment of $110.00 for the second night.

This was a great place for us! While this is a little older establishment it had charm with the pine wood interior. The manager was fabulous, friendly, and greeted us with a smile! We were on our HD Trike and towels were provided to wipe the bike down, after a bit of rainy weather! The room was very clean and had a cute functional kitchen area and a bathroom with great shower and lots of hot water! Highly recommend this quiet and lovely place!

After reading the reviews and reviewing the photos prior to booking this lodge I am SHOCKED at how the ratings are so high. Check in was easy and convenient I’ll give them that but the images online did not compare to the room we were in. It smelt like old mildew carpet that was being masked by cheap air fresheners. We found random trash from previous guest that hadn’t been cleaned. The bathroom was so small, and I hope you’re not over 5ft tall or your knees will be in the wall while you use the toilet. I probably could’ve over looked all these inconveniences if it wasn’t for the bed…first off it was propped up on wooden blocks! But secondly I’m convinced they have more comfortable beds at the county jail. I have never slept on something so hard in my entire life. We ended up sleeping on the fold out futon. But between the noise of the neighbors and the uncomfortableness we slept maybe a total of 2 hours.The room we booked was non-refundable which sucks but we ended up leaving and finding a new lodge because we would’ve been miserable sleeping on that thing one second more.

The rooms in this quaint rustic hotel are actually pretty good! The decor is very nice and the beds are very comfortableThe gas wall panel heater reminded me of how evenly gas power heats. The bathrooms are small but remodeled and efficient. The staff leaves plenty of coffee for your K- coffee maker. A microwave and refrigerator are there along with eating utensils and paper napkins. Nice stay close to town. The stairs may be a bit tough for some so be sure to request down if you need

It would be better to have an manager phone number so someone could be reached it there had been a problem. Also, the door knob/lock system should be changed so that it is not possible to lock oneself out.

The owner obviously did not remember reaponding to our request of a downstairs room that we wanted the reservation to run together. He harrassed me with numerous calls and text even after we checked out without staying ONE night. The worst experience we have EVER had. I have never been harrassed by a property owner because he forgot to keep us in the same room. We drove all night and checked in at 7:00 a.m for him to call and say we needed to move to a different room!! It was terrible!!

Nice, older lodge with kitchenette and nice, scenic views of mountains just a minute or so out of the downtown area. Clean, comfortable, no-frills accommodations with quick access to the mountain trails and close to Goose Lake trailhead.

I did not realize that the lodge was not in town. I did not realize the property had no air conditioning. Our room was next to a busy road and we had to open our windows due to no air. There was a coffee maker and coffee but the coffee maker was broken and there was no one on site to address the issue. The room was very small. Otherwise, it was great!

We liked the fact that this location was only about a mile from the center of Red River, so it was close enough to everything but not in the middle of the busy/noisy area. The property has a cool authentic lodge feel, with wood paneling and rustic touches. it was clean, comfortable and reasonably priced.

We had a good stay. The room was a perfect fit for our one night stay, however it was pretty hot throughout the night. The fans helped but it did not cool down. The room and bathroom were both somewhat clean.

My family and I enjoyed our stay! The staff was extremely nice my family and I showed up an hour or so before the check in and we didn’t realize the time and they still welcomed us, I highly recommend this place to stay.
