Historic Main St. Customs House Upstairs Apartment

Property was great and very clean. Check in process was extremely easy and very informative email was sent before check-in. The only thing that was lacking, which may be my own fault is the downstairs bedroom, the one with one bed is not a bedroom as the walls do not go to the ceiling. It offers privacy to get dressed but no privacy for conversations or intimate relations in the bedroom. The location was key so I would rent again but maybe not bring all my kids. :)

Location, location, location! This is the perfect spot for easy access to adorable downtown Saint Charles. It’s quite roomy and very clean and new inside despite being an old building. It was a great stay for my family of 2 adults and two teens, who used the upstairs loft as their own private hangout. Having parking included is very convenient. The kitchen is huge and has everything you need to make meals. The beds were super comfortable. The TVs were all quite large and new. If you are sensitive to noise, I would recommend staying Sunday through Thursday nights as the weekend nights we heard cars and people outside in the evening. We didn’t hear any noise up in the loft, but we did in the lower level. The rental was very cozy and comfortable and felt very much like home by the time we checked out. I would definitely stay again in this unit or the one next-door which also looks cute. It was very safe and proved to be a great stay for not only exploring Saint Charles, but going into St. Louis. We went into St. Louis twice and it only took a half an hour both times. I highly recommend this property. Perfect for families or a girls weekend.

Great Stay and great location!

The pictures do not depict what the actual apartment looks like! Very disappointed in the stay. I spent one night and left the next day. I had rented for three days. I cannot stand the smell or the filth. I would never recommend this to anyone!
