Na een minder leuke ervaring bij een andere accomodatie liep ik hier naar binnen om voor de boeking de ruimte te bekijken. Receptioniste Michaela liet mij heel gastvrij de ruimte zien en kort daarna heb ik geboekt. De keuken is wat gedateerd maar dat is direct de enige opmerking over de kamer! De badkamer en het losse toilet zijn onlangs gerenoveerd, mooi en comfortabel. De meubels in de slaapkamers zijn van goede kwaliteit en bieden voldoende ruimte om je kleding op de bergen. De bedden zijn voorzien van heerlijke matrassen. We hebben hier 3 super fijne dagen gehad. We zijn 7 weken met de auto aan het trekken door Europa, toen ik zag dat de hotel eigenaar zijn auto aan het wassen was vroeg ik hem of ik onze auto mocht afspoelen. Voor ik het wist had ik een grote borstel in mijn hand mét zeep en waren wij samen de auto grondig aan het wassen. Achteraf moest ik hem laten staan om op te drogen want hij kocht natuurlijk niet nat stoffig worden 😉. Ik den niet hij eerder dit verzoek had gekregen maar een probleem was het niet! Elke keer wanneer we het hotel binnenliepen was er weer de warme glimlach van Michaela die ook goede tips voor je heeft over de omgeving. Wanneer we ooit weer in Bansko komen gaan verblijven we weer hier!

From the moment we arrived, our experience was highly disappointing. The hotel is situated in an unpaved area with rough gravel roads, surrounded by an overgrown vacant lot. Upon arrival, there were no English-speaking staff members available at the front desk. Instead, we were greeted by a maintenance worker who appeared to handle multiple roles. While he was exceptionally polite, helpful, and welcoming, he spoke only Bulgarian, which made communication difficult.When we were escorted to our suite, we found that it did not match our reservation. The accommodation was in poor condition, outdated, and dusty. We requested a room change and spoke over the phone with an English-speaking manager. I explained that the room provided did not reflect our booking or the online gallery. Although she initially claimed we had reserved a standard suite rather than a deluxe, our booking confirmation clearly proved otherwise.We were eventually upgraded to a 'deluxe' suite that resembled the website photos. However, the cleanliness was unacceptable. The linens were significantly worn out, the towels did not meet proper hygiene standards, the room was only partially renovated, and the walls were stained.Given the poor location, lack of cleanliness, and management discrepancies, I cannot recommend this hotel.
